Planet Ainov, a planet almost earth-like in environment. Spanning much of its world are fields, with a few but thick forests dotting the plains. And further on, mountains - snow capped mountains. Oceans holding creatures down in the depths that one could only dream of.

And a dark secret at its core.

You see, Ainov does have a population. Inhabitants. By far, Ainov is not the biggest planet out there, with the most amount of people. The population is sparse, and even then, a lot of people live alone, or just with their families.

And why is that? Why would you choose to live on your own?
The Blight. That would be your reason.

The Blight; black, tar like beings. When you see the Blight building up in your area, get out of there as fast as possible, or at least try to stay out of it. If you cannot do any of the following; do these instead.

1. Be quiet.
2. No fast movements.

Leave the area as soon as possible, or find a place to hide out at. Generally, if it can’t detect you, the Blight will leave on its own.
Ainov was a planet founded from the Blight, but previously, the Blight was kept in check by an artifact known as the Mirage. But someone - or something tampered with the Mirage, and slowly but surely, the Blight is rampaging out of control. Already, some towns are consumed by the Blight.

So that’s why they have you. They’re sending you to restore the Mirage, and presumably - take down the Blight, too. Reverse the damage.
But don’t assume it’ll be easy. You’ll need to go far, across an entire continent just to reach it. And who knows.. maybe not all want to see balance restored. Maybe there’s another force who wishes to see the Mirage unbalanced..
..maybe you’re not the only one going on this trip after all.

1. I will be asking for a writing sample, I've got the right to deny or accept you as needed. Have dialogue as well as text.
2. I would prefer mature RPers for this. Mostly due to the fact my character I’m using was not exactly made with the younger audience in mind - and while I will be reeling him in specifically for RPs, any stuff that we deem PM worthy…gets taken there. I will also state beforehand the character I’m using is not the nicest nor most pleasant to deal with in terms of morals. He’s not a completely unlikable guy..just not a good one. This doesn’t mean this RP has to be dark for all of it, I’m just saying. (P.S. Traumatic backstories are welcomed here!)

4. Cursing is allowed.
5. Violence and blood welcome - there will be a time and place for all of that, though.
   For major fights, let's not autohit, but don't dodge everything either (in the event that happens, of course.)

7. I would prefer semi-lit into literate RPers. Good grammar is always appreciated.
8. No one-liners.
9. I would prefer it be more, but I understand sometimes there isn't much going on, so I only ask that your reply be a minimum of two sentences.

12. I would prefer your character to be human, or at least partially. This is a sci-fi world, so alien hybrids/tribrids, etc are welcome. I would, however - prefer you to use your own species that you’ve created.

She stopped when she heard the rather familiar voice, her black lips curving up to a sly smirk as she cocked her hip to the side.
"Ferris" her voice purred as she made her way towards the tall man. "didn't expect to see you out here, but I'm not surprised." she crossed her arms, her green eyes beaming at him in a rather challenging demeanor.
She wasn't a social butterfly, but not far from it. She liked testing people, getting on their nerves and pushing every button she could find.
No, she hadn't gotten a nickname like Ferris. Or one that she's heard anyway. She was sure they had all sorts of vulgar, mean names for her all around campus.
She let out a deep breath, watching the smoke float up before she turned her gaze back to him.
"watchya doin out here anyway pretty boy?"

This is the longest one I could find as quickly as I could. Sorry lol.
But anyway, I might use this character for this one. But maybe not I'm still deciding lol (if you'll have me that is)

So.first of all, the setting. Since it's your world and all, I would like to know like what kind of environment my character would be in so i dont get anything wrong and you'll have to correct me.
Also, what kind of character do you think would go along with your character. Not just romance wise, but working well with him.in general? Because I have plenty of characters I could choose from and I'm pretty flexible.
So sorry for the inconvenience though!!

You’ll find some lakes, some caves. Sparse towns, many of them abandoned. A few bunkers, most of which are indeed inhabited but most people would not be willing to interact with anyone outside - which includes yourself.

A good portion of it is fields and hills though, often with rivers running through. The rivers usually aren’t harsh and you can walk through those ones.
The mountains are the colder areas and harder to get over because of how steep they are; plus the further you up go the colder it gets
If you walk out far enough you’ll find the beaches and usually by beaches there’s some cliffs (since again, usually before reaching a beach you do need to cross over some mountains.)
We’d probably begin RP in the fields somewhere and make our way over to the mountains where presumably, the Mirage is.

My character is compatible with pretty much anyone. He’s adaptable in that sort of way.

Seo Hyeon’s sweet to the core, always trying her very best to brighten anyone and everyone’s day. She cares about everyone, no matter if she knows them or not, nor what they have done. She believes everyone deserves a second chance in this life and thats what shes here to do.
Yeah, she can be sweet, but she wont let anyone disrespect her. She knows her self worth and is confident in herself (despite hating her looks)
She may very well seem like shes very shy-if you would. But she’ll put you to the ground if you test her. She absolutely hates cocky people and usually brings them down- humbles them in a way.
Seo Hyeon’s not a pushy person, so she wont pry into someone’s life. She respects personal space. But she can tell if someone needs a friend and shes gonna be there for them.
She does fall in love quite easily, but can be extremely dense at times. Shes a writer and when it comes down to the little things in life, shes always thinking about her writing. How she can write in a world like this was a mystery. Though she never told people she writes, everyone she meets knows. As she does it quite a bit on her free time. Which she has very little of.
Once friends with someone, shes very loving and caring, and she absolutely loves cuddles to the ends of the earth and back. Yes, shes very sweet and wont hurt any innocent people and its rare for her to actually hurt people who deserve it too, but shes killed plenty and wont hesitate to do it again.

Her hair used to be long to her thighs, snowy white and beautiful but she cut it to her shoulders when the “apocalypse” started. It was more practical of course. Shes short, cute and smells of vanilla n strawberries. How? She has her ways (nah, she just stole litterally all of the perfume from any shop she could. Its the little things that count for this gal)
Her skin pale and her cheeks always red but lightly scattered with white freckles. (Yes, white freckles. They’re a thing lol)
Her eyes have almost no pigmentation in them, due to that theyre a white blue color, making her actually look blind. Which she is in one eye due to abuse before this all started. A small light pink scar over her eye, its easily unnoticeable and shes glad about that. She has a multitude of scars littering her body from abuse, but everyone assumes they’re from fighting in this hell hole. So she doesn’t care to show them.
Her body is an hourglass with no question about that. Curvy with a decently bust, smaller set of hips with thicc thighs. Though shes strong and you can tell by looking at her. Shes 5’6 with an attitude in her hips when she walks.
A smaller button nose and nice full lips that she got from her dad. Who’s out there somewhere, she just doesn’t know where and she definitely doesn’t want to look.

Skills: extremely skilled in hand to hand combat and this gurl can aim. She can easily maneuver places and can be extremely sneaky and manipulative. It comes in handy a lot. Shes an incredible actress as she wanted to peruse an acting career before this happened.
Weaknesses: she blames herself for a lot of things that happened in her life, and shes also dealing with a lot of past trauma and its messed her up quite a bit.
Other than that, she can be very very clumsy.
Outfit: now before this all happened, she was an extremely stylish girl. She loved to wear dresses and cute clothes. Skirts with a cute off shoulder shirt. She definitely had a “girly” style if you know what i mean. She always had a flower with her, from where she got it, nobody knew.
But now she wears either shorts or sweatpants with a skin tight tank top. Sometimes she’ll just wear a bra. If shes hot, she doesn’t care. Shes really temperature sensitive. She has a black coat when shes cold but she doesn’t wear it a ton. She carries two pistols on her sides and knives hidden throughout her clothing.

Clothing: those baggy camouflage sweatpants with boots and a skin tight tank-top. Usually a green or any dull colors to blend in. She always has a darker jacket tied tightly around her waist along with a few weapons the belt. She carries around a backpack with a good amount of first aid (just because shes a healer doesn't mean she'll magically heal anything and everything. If she can in a good amount of time, she'llbe practical), weapons and food. It's actually really big but shes so used to carrying it, she doesn't mind anymore.

Background: Basically her father died when she was young and she lived with her mother and her older brother. She remarried and that was shit. Step dad dude was an abusive alcoholic and she has quite a bit of PTSD from it along with scars all over her body. Not very noticeable ones. You can only tell if you look closely.
One day Step douche took it a bit too far and accidentally killed her mom, causing to much head trauma. He was put in jail and they were left by themselves. A bit later her brother killed himself, burning himself alive. (She believes it was an accident but mostly because shes in denial. And only a crazy person would kill themselves in a fire. But….her brother was actually really messed up) Pretty traumatic for her to say the least.
Now shes on her own :)

Learned basic hand to hand combat, can handle any weapon thrown at her. (Unless it's like really weird, idk. Shes not a God in weaponry XD)

Magic: healing. It's not super powerful or anything so shes not gonna be going around raising people from the dead. But shes become a bit skilled in her works. Fatal wounds are much more exhausting than normal wounds such as a cut.
Other:
Being a healer who actually cares for others, she likes to travel a lot. Shes never stayed in one place for a few obvious reasons.
CC tries her best to help people even though they're never actually really welcoming to her. Once shes tried and they still refuse, she'll let them die. Shes not going to waste her precious time and energy into someone who doesn't want her help.
