Looks: He has jet black hair with turquoise highlights that is similar to a crewcut. His skin is pale. He has turquoise eyes. Probably about 5"6 or 5"7.
Personality: He has a bit of a temper but is mainly chill even in the most dire of situations. He is fiercely loyal to those who are helpless or his friends.

(you don't have to follow this template, but it worked best for Kaysen. lmk if I need to pick someone else!)
(Okay here we goes- srry for the late reply oop)
Name: Sandra Ulric
Gender: female
Age: 15-16
Looks: shoulder-length super dark brown hair, often braided and dark green eyes; wiry build, 5' 2''
Personality: RBF, grumpy most of the time. Her sense of humor is mostly deadpan and sarcastic. Confident in her abilities and it shows. Fight first think later. Denies that her best friend is her best friend and REALLY denies her feelings for him
Powers: none, but she is a skilled archer and rock climber
(no worries! I've got to get off line for a bit, but lmk if you want to start it off or should i? I like sandra! her personality will make her and kaysen's meeting interesting ;))
(No worries :) if you could that’d be great I have no idea what I’m doing lol)
(sure! and I mostly do third person in past tense, but whatever you're comfortable with I can adapt)
(Okie)
Kaysen woke to the sound of birds. Funny, he was just asleep in his room a few moments ago… The grass tickled, the breeze swirled around him. A bird twittered, a stream bubbled nearby, and the trees seemed to whisper among themselves. He could hear the soft touch of the leaves as they fell to the ground and the sun shined warmly through the branches. Even the chatter of insects provided a special kind of peace in an unknown land. But Kaysen still had no clue where he lay and was determined to find out. As he prepared to sit up and have a look around, he suddenly realized why everything appeared hazy to his eyes. He did not have them, for he was in his alternate form. He was a sword.
“Basil, for the love of-“ Sandra chased after her collie. “Basil, come back!”
The dog ran through the forest, ignoring her owner’s call.
Sandra grumbled to herself as she lost sight of the dog. “I swear to all the plants, Basil…”
Sandra trekked after the dog and entered a small clearing in the forest. “Basil, come!”
The dog paused her sniffing and trotted over to her, sitting at Sandra’s feet. She looked back and barked.
It was then that Sandra noticed what Basil was so fascinated with.
A sword, just laying on the ground.
(I am intrigued now lol)
Kaysen sensed something sniffling in the brush. Then a dog appeared. He didn't know enough about dogs to be able to tell what kind it was. It ran its wet nose down the length of his polished blade. Kaysen caused his turquoise lines to flash as a warning for the dog to back off. It jerked its head and sneezed.
Gross.
A female's voice called somewhere off to his right, and the dog trotted off. Kaysen knew where this was going, and soon enough the dog was back with a young girl in tow.
(are we in her world then, since her dog is there? I'm totally okay with it if you want to do that.)
(Oh i didn’t think of that I was just like “oh the dog is the only intro I got lol)
(it's fine! kaysen is constantly thrown into other worlds so :) let's go with being in Sandra's world, but my replies might be short sometimes just because I don't know anything about her world p-p)
(and my replies will also be based off how much info you give me, but I'm literally and totally okay with that!)
Sandra paused and stared at the sword. She scanned the surrounding trees, slowly reaching for her bow. She’d never seen a sword like that before; it wasn’t one you would just leave out in the elements. “Hello?”
Basil sat on Sandra’s feet and stared up at her. She whimpered, then went back and pawed at the sword.
A flash of turquoise reflected off the blade.
“What the-“ Sandra knelt down to look closer.
(Haha okay sounds good- her world is sort of medieval style)
(sweet!)
Kaysen quieted as the girl came closer. She looked fierce when she pulled out her bow, and he didn't want her to know that he was not a normal sword.
At least not yet.
Judging by her outfit, he guessed that he arrived in some sort of old-age realm. And by the way the strange girl approached everything with confidence, he knew then that he'd be teleported into her world. But how? Kaysen sighed internally; this sort of thing was always happening to him.
He watched as the girl looked around once more before she reached down to pick him up.
(Can he switch at will or is it random)
Sandra flinched hard as she picked up the sword. Something flashed in her mind, so fast she couldn’t place it.
The sword glowed for a moment.
She frowned and whistled to Basil. “Maybe Seth would know something about this,” she muttered to her dog. Basil whined at the mention of Sandra’s friend.
She put her bow away and held the sword in a loose grip. Basil trotted after her as she headed home. She’d ask Seth about it next time she saw him.
(Seth doesn’t have to make an appearance, just thought a mention could advance this cos I have no idea what I’m doing)
(Can he switch at will or is it random)
(he can switch at will, but sometimes when he's teleported to a new world he can't control what he looks like when he gets there)
(seth can make an appearance!! Remember; Kaysen is in your world. Anything goes in your world :))
(Okay cool- I got nothing so ur turn lol)
As soon as the girl picked him up, Kaysen knew that if he ever transformed, they would argue.
-Sandra-
Her name jarred his thoughts. A series of other things followed behind. He always hated this part of reading someone's brain. If he could prevent that from happening, he would, but it was out of his control.
He knew she wouldn't be putting him down anytime soon, and she mentioned seeing some friend of hers named Seth. So Kaysen blocked his own thoughts from communicating to the girl–all the while her chatter going off–and sighed inside his safe zone. Guess he would have to hunker down and wait for the opportunity to escape.
Sandra left the mysterious sword in the shed with her bow. She sighed as she followed Basil inside and fixed both of them a quick dinner.
When she went to get her hunting gear the next morning, the sword was gone.
Kaysen spied on the girl's actions as she walked through the woods until she came upon a house. A shed was nearby and the girl settled both him and her bow inside before taking her dog to the house. Kaysen knew this was the opportunity he'd been looking for.
When the sun set and he saw all the lights were out in the house, Kaysen transformed. In a bright flash of white light, a boy appeared in the shed. Because of the magic, Kaysen was fully dressed in black jeans and a simple, teal t-shirt that accentuated the turquoise color of his eyes and highlights in his jet black hair. The shed was a bit small for the 5'9 boy, and he hit his head on the roof. Making sure no one heard or saw him, he slipped out of the shed and into the nighttime forest beyond.
"Are you sure this really happened?" Seth asked, hiding a laugh.
Sandra groaned. "Yes! I swear I left it right here, but-" Her friend laughed and she punched him on the shoulder. "You're a jerk."
He rolled his eyes.
Seth left a while later to go meet someone, and Sandra looked for the sword for hours. She could have sworn she left it-
movement past the treeline behind her cabin caught her eye. The same color as the markings-
She set an arrow on her bowstring and crept closer. Someone was there.
"Hey!" she called.
