The world is falling to ruin, monsters are rising up from cracks in the Earth’s surface and modern society as we know it is gone. But a small town in the US’s Michigan has decided to fight back, to make a safe haven for everyone in need of one.

The kicker? Our characters are all classmates currently stranded in Florida after a spring vacation gone horribly wrong. Now, they have to evade monsters and travel many miles up to the only place that could possibly keep them safe, keep them free.

Unfortunately, anyone who gets bitten by a monster mutates, becomes a horrible monster out in search of blood like all the others. So. Basically a zombie apocalypse but with cooler mutations and less brains.

Anyways, rules and template are below.

Name:
Gender:
Personality:
Clothing:
Appearance:
Age: (I was thinking, like, 16-17?)
Main skill: (what are they best at in terms of survival?)
Other:

Rules are, no magic, no being a jerk, no being overpowered (feel free to kill off your characters and replace them! The shouldn’t be invincible!), don’t be bigoted, and no smutty stuff! I’m a minor, that would be very uncomfy. Violence, swearing, and gore are all fine though. Have fun, and follow andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s rules! Please be respectful, everyone!

So I’ve come up with some more worldbuilding for the monsters. They were sleeping in the middle of the Earth when eventually, one of them woke up and started digging towards the surface. It infected a few people, caused some trouble, but eventually made it’s way back down via humans defeating it through hard work and pitchforks. That was two hundred years ago. Now, these monsters have all woken up, that one was just the first. They appear to be alien to our world, having formed for an environment completely different than anything we’ve seen on earth. They have traits that allow them to resist high heat and pressure, making them almost like deep-sea fish, but not quite. Because they can infect people, make them into monsters, we have decided they are either of this world from a time before time, or… well, it’s impossible, but they may be from another universe.

Anyways, they’re monsters that are hard to kill and incredibly strong, with mutations varying wildly but with the common trait of being completely blood red with hundreds of eyes.

Yes, but with a lot of difficulty. It would probably take a whole team of people to take one out.

Which is why our characters are in a group, after all! So that works!

@gracehustle

Ok, that makes sense, I can get my character up pretty soon if you'd like! Is there any chance for romance in this at all or no? And also is this just going to be you and me or multiple people?

@gracehustle

Name: Elisa Lund
Gender: Female
Personality: Snappy and fairly sarcastic, not one to think through her sentences before they come out of her mouth. She's a bit of a tomboy, not caring much about her appearance and normally it takes her about five minutes to get ready. Will protect her friends (Or really anyone) without hesitation.
Clothing: At the moment, she wears a baggier men's flannel to protect her arms, a tight-fitting black crop top, and long black pants as well as colorful socks and a pair of running shoes
Appearance: Choppy caramel brown hair that falls to her jaw, silver-blue eyes and lightly tanned skin peppered with millions of freckles. She's tall, about 5'11", and lean, basically built like a pencil. She had sharp features as well, high cheekbones, a sharp jaw, and a straight neat nose
Age: 17, a senior in high school
Main skill: Hunting, weapons, ect.
Other: She grew up in a household where hunting and being outdoors was common, meaning she had a good grip on how to use guns, knives, and bows.

Multiple people, hopefully, but a relatively small group in general. And romance is like, fine? I guess? Just let it develop naturally instead of slapping it on the plot.

Uh,,, probably by the coast? I know nothing about Florida I just wanted a vacation spot relatively far away from the safe haven to create plot difficulties.

@gracehustle

(Ok that makes sense, I was just wondering since i figure the bigger the city they start in/by the more difficult the journey would be)

Uh, if you know about big cities in Florida that would be neat. Ooh, maybe Miami?

@Cloudy_is_trying_her_best

Tbh all I know about my character is that I want to play a character who goes to one of those big game merch/general geek stores and buys an Actual Gotdamn Sword(one of the replicas, probably a replica Master Sword bc I feel like it). Lmao
