"For now," Luke said, leaning against the tree and acting casual. "Who knows if you'll decide to attack me again." He sent her a grin.
"For now," Luke said, leaning against the tree and acting casual. "Who knows if you'll decide to attack me again." He sent her a grin.
"Maybe I will, maybe I won't." The short girl shrugged her shoulders.
He snorted. "Okay. Well, I guess I have to watch out for you now. The tiny but terrible Queen of the Chickens!" He grinned.
Angel then proceeded to flap her arms around and make squawking noises. "Bow to your queen, bird!" she yelled at a nearby pigeon.
"But… aren't chickens and pigeons not the same thing?" He asked, laughing. This girl was… fun. Very fun.
She shushed him and answered with a, "He doesn't know that!" She then picked the pigeon up and handed it to Luke. "These are my bird people." she said with a straight face.
"Even pigeons? How do you get such dumb creatures to listen to you?" He laughed. Part of him wondered how she managed to get close enough to pick up one of these dumb birds. Then again… they were dumb. So…
The blue eyed girl leaned up to his ear, with the help of her hands pulling his shoulders down, and whispered, "Magic." Then she turned, flopped down onto the ground and just looked at him. "I like you." she stated. "You're interesting."
Angel Fairbrooke has sent you a friend request. Accept?
(Ok, so the end of that was kind of like a dating simulator thing so… XD. Sorry I haven't been on much.)
(It's fine lol. I haven't been answering that well…)
"Thanks?" Luke wasn't sure how to react. He hadn't met anyone who was this blunt to him in, well… ever. "Is that a good thing?"
He glanced down at his phone, then back up at her with raised eyebrows, before hitting Accept.
"Of course it's a good thing." Angel answered with a smile. She moved her gaze from Luke to look at the clouds and she watched them roll by for a few minutes. "It's amazing how many of these look like pokémon."
Is this girl okay? He wondered. Her brain is so random! He smiled slightly. She was, as she had called him, interesting. And that was good. Most girls weren't. They were boring and he really didn't like them at all.
"So, what do you want to do?" she asked as she placed her hands under her head. She really didn't have any idea what else to talk about and she still had a few hours before she had to go home for the night.
"Um… we could go get ice cream?" He suggested, as the musical sound of an ice cream truck tinkled through the air.
The girl immediately sat up and scanned the area, eventually spotting the truck. "Yes! Ice cream! What kind do you like?" she asked as she stood and pulled some change from her pocket.
"Let me pay," Luke said, stopping her immediately. "It's my duty as a gentleman."
"Aw, and my cousin said chivalry was dead." Angel put her money away with a light blush on her face. She smiled as thought to herself, Ha, Mom would approve. before shaking the thought away.
"Well, I thought so too, but I guess I have some shreds of kindness left." Luke grinned and paid for their ice cream and handed hers to her.
"Thanks." She took one lick of the chocolate cone and tilted her head back in content. "Bob's Frozen Treats has the best ice cream!" She took Luke by the hand and led him to one of the park benches, then sat down beside him, his hand still in hers.
"Does it? I can't really tell the difference between good and bad ice cream. I guess I haven't had enough to taste the difference," he said with a grin, taking a bite of the ice cream instead of licking it. It gave him a major brain freeze, but he didn't care.
Angel gave him a concerned stare as he took a bite of his ice cream. "Why? Why bite it?" She knew there wasn't any 'wrong' way to eat something, but biting ice cream definitely didn't look right.
"Why not biting it?" He countered. "When the question is why, the answer is always why not. Rule number one of irritating someone."
The girl let out a light scoff in mock annoyance. "How do your teeth not get cold though?" she asked.
"They're special," he said smugly. "Like me. Obviously." And with a wink at her, he bit into his ice cream again, only slower.
Her eyes lingered on him for a bit before she went back to licking her frozen treat.
(I have no inspiration. Have any ideas?)
(No… we should probably figure out how the title for this rp wouls play into it?)
