A powerful witch needs a spouse of equal cunning and capability, and so he seeks out your character, the most skilled and accomplished thief in the land, to take back to their castle and place under enchantment that they may only leave twice a year, on the Summer and Winter Solstice respectively (this means they can't physically leave, they are compelled to stay. The spell won't actually harm them, and if they do somehow leave, will transport them back to the castle the moment they fall asleep). This is obviously inconvenient for the thief, but they really only stole to live comfortably and this is the most comfortable lifestyle a thief could possibly seek, so why not stay, they reason. However, the witch is not looking for laziness, so your thief character must keep up their roguish cunning or risk the worst sort of punishment: being useless and being cast aside for something better.
Although, if they could perhaps create another reason for the witch to keep them around, perhaps love, even, that would solve all their problems. Easy enough, right? Right?
So yeah this is gonna be fun. For me, at least, watching your character struggle. I'm mostly kidding but you get what I mean.
Rules are andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s. I have no limits or triggers besides explicit, on-screen harm to children and sex stuff so make this as fucked up as you want. Swearing is all good. Let me know if there's anything you want me to avoid, and I expect at least three sentences of response please! Even if it's a bad day at least try, or let me know you're struggling and we can work something out. I do better RPing the gay stuff because I am the gay stuff, so maybe we could make this queer? That would be neat.

(Thank you! I can get my character up in just a moment!)
Name: Arwya M.
Age: 109, appears in his 20s
Gender: Male
Appearance: https://picrew.me/share?cd=WTNSvKghsp (I am lazy. It is 3 am. Here is a picrew.)
Personality: Arwya is godlike, in that he is erratic, unpredictable, beyond all human understanding and rarely seen. He's not unkind, just not very gentle, and often doesn't think things through before going through to them. Is actually very susceptible to pressure if you know which points to hit, and he can be a bit too easy to make cry. He's a mess all told, and he needs someone to pick him up off the ground. Hence, your character. Honestly he's a depressed chaotic force of what the hell is going on and he needs someone to help him out with that.
Backstory: To be determined

Dislikes: TBD
Fears: Actually I know this one I just won't tell you.
Theme Song: A Sadness Runs Through Him by The Hoosiers
Other: Idk I never put anything here most of the time.
Name: Loki Jynx Ephai
Age: About 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: Loki has soft raven black hair that falls into his face, the sides shaved. Has darker skin, tanned to a sweet chestnut - espresso color. He has bright green eyes that seem to pierce into anything they fall upon. He's on the leaner side, but tone with muscle. He usually wears clothes that are casual and can blend into a crowd. He has sharp features that are usually covered in a shadow because of his hood. He's of average height, reaching to about 5'10.
Personality: Surprisingly, Loki is talkative. But here's the thing. He says so much that no one really knows who he is. He's assertive, and has a temper at times. He can actually be rather caring once his walls are broken down. He's brutally honest and will make sure that his opinion on a subject is known. He can become cold towards someone when they've broken his trust. He's very good at what he does, and can be a very manipulative bastard. It's rare to see him cry. It happens maybe once in a blue moon. He rarely smiles, and rarely talks to people he doesn't know.
Backstory: He will not touch that subject with a 10 foot pole. I know his backstory, but it will be revealed slowly.
Likes: Reading, dancing, Hand to hand combat, sleeping, stealing, food (especially fruits), trickery, his name, busy places, freedom, exploring, playing the violin, snakes
Dislikes: large dogs, being in captivity, getting close to people, dealing with idiots, people who make assumptions about him, people mentioning his past, being alone with his thoughts, being touched out of the blue
Fears: Has a deep fear of dogs, especially large dogs.
Theme Song: Cradles - Sub Urban
Other:
- His favorite fruit are strawberries
- When playing his violin, it often reflects his mood.
- Although he will continuously deny it, he loves sweets
- He speaks a variety of languages
- He has hard to nail down sleeping habits. He could sleep for a whole day, or stay awake for days on end.
Better than my character, certainly. Shall we begin?
Arwya M. stood by his bedroom window, awaiting the moment where his new little thief would find him in this massive labyrinth of a castle. Arwya walked away after a thought, but left the window open. The thief could wander the grounds to a certain point, perhaps he would climb in that way. Whatever the case, Arwya was prepared to meet his new spouse, meet him in person at least. Through a magic mirror, he was able to see anything he pleased, and he did, using his tools to their full potential.
The idea for a spouse had started upon a meeting with his father, where the man in question was displeased with the state of affairs that Arwya had allowed himself. He was alone, solitary, in a way unbecoming of a witch. Witches were made for places of power and respect, to be adored and made to be at least the right hand if not the head of any organization they set their minds to. It was how the world worked, and Arwya had to respect that.
So Arwya made a compromise. Find a spouse, and set them up in a position that would guarantee their safety and comfort, as well as provide a logical point from which to advise and console, as a spouse would. And so, with that plan in mind, they found someone with great cunning and skill who could easily provide them with everything they needed. Their thief. It was like getting a new toy or a pet, honestly, except smarter. Arwya didn't care much for the human, only wanting to appease his father.
(I'm so sorry about not being active ;-; I promise I am. However with the holidays I haven't had much free time. I'll reply once the holidays are over.)
(I'm finally back lol!)
Loki was tense as of late. It felt as if the back of his neck was always tingling. It usually meant that someone was watching him. But whoever it was, he couldn't catch them in the act and it was slowly driving him up the wall. It had caused so many sleepless nights of twisting and turning. All that time, and there was a feeling in his gut to enter the castle. Many believed it haunted, some believed it was empty, some rumored of a witch. Of course Loki never believed in gossip. Maybe he should have.
He couldn't recall the details that had brought him to the castle tonight, but here he was, shrouded in the darkness of shadows, with moonlight silhouetting his body. The only thing that seemed to stand out unnaturally against the dark was his bright green eyes. They shone like a cats in the white light of the moon. He finally made it to the doors, but he of course decided to be complicated and find another way in. Which, being the amazing thief he was, he easily found one. He entered quietly, practically silent against the floor. He managed to hide in the dark easily, of course he had no idea that a witch was currently watching him. He didn't know that this was going to be the end of his freedom.
Why did he become a thief? He couldn't remember. Maybe it was his knack for stealing things. Maybe it was because he grew up on the streets. Whatever it was, perhaps he would be spending the future regretting the fact that he had become a thief. He was the best in the country, and the best part was, no one knew who he was. He was a swindler, a man of the shadows. He stole from the rich and gave to himself. He could sweet talk himself out of any situation. But at the moment, his alarms were going off. In fact they had been going off since he had set foot on the castle grounds.
