Ava felt some invisibe force pushing her, trying to her to tell Siren everything. "I-I-I…I," She said trying to keep herself from spilling the truth.
Ava felt some invisibe force pushing her, trying to her to tell Siren everything. "I-I-I…I," She said trying to keep herself from spilling the truth.
"You can trust me, you know." Aika's voice was soothing, and she added just a bit more power.
"I-I…I work f-for…Shockwave." Ava said reluctantly.
(Shockwave is the only hero name I could think of on the spot.)
"There you go, see? Wasn't too hard."
Despite her words Ava was still panicing. She looked at the floor, not wanting to look at her.
Aika sighed. "Honey, it's alright. I promised I wouldn't hurt you."
Ava hated this. She hated feeling vulnerable. Expecially in front of her. God. This can't get much worse.
"Hmph. Are you hungry then? Thirsty?"
Ava shook her head franticly. She was actually really thirsty but she didn't say out of fear that anything that Siren gave her would be poisoned.
Aika disappeared into another room for a bit, coming out with a sealed water bottle. "Here!"
Ava just stared at the water bottle and shook her head. "I-I'm f-fine." She said.
"It's not poisoned. I have more class than that." Aika tossed her hair over her shoulder and twisted the cap off. "Plus, I can't exactly have you dying on me."
Ava still eyed it warily. Even if she did want it she couldn't. Not with being tied to the chair.
Aika looked down at the ropes. "Oh, yeah. Guess I'll just be pouring it into your mouth or something. Tilt your head just a bit!"
"N-No! I-I'm fine." Ava said trying to scoot the chair away.
"It's bolted down, love. Could you please drink the water?" It didn't show, she couldn't afford for it to, but she was worried. So she added a bit of her power, just enough, hopefully.
Ava stopped trting to push away. "I-I don't w-want a-any." She said even though you could hear how much she needed that water.
"Lie." Aika stated, holding out the bottle. "Just tip your head back a bit, not all the way, or you'll choke on the water."
Ava hesitated but then did what she asked.
Aika poured a bit of water into Ava's mouth. "There. Swallow, and I can give you some more."
Ava drank the water. It felt good. She opened her mouth for more.
Aika laughed quietly, pouring more water into her mouth. "Called it."
Ava drank more. How did she get this thirsty. "H-How long h-have I-I been h-here?" Ava asked.
"You were out for a bit, too be honest. I was kinda worried Nathaniel had killed you, but you woke up just as I was going to bring him in here."
"W-Whos N-Nathaniel?" She asked..
