Over the past few years, a serial killer has been at large. This unknown individual has been able to dodge the law enforcements attempts of stopping him. The targets of the killer? Men who have been convicted of things like domestic abuse in families and rape. Some call this serial killer a cold blooded psychopath. Other praise him for being a hero and ridding the world of filth. But when an investigator on the case catches up to the serial killer, what could happen next?
Alright, so that’s a bit of an intro. The two part are the part of the serial killer and the private investigator. I have a very developed serial killer character, so I will be doing that part. The part of the investigator is open, and can be played by a character of any gender and such! And along the lines of turning people away, I will only do that if we have other rps together and if i kmow you don’t have the best responses. I hate turning people away, it’s a super bitchy move, in my opinion.

Appearance (include attire): https://i.pinimg.com/564x/39/d0/39/39d039646b5d5ec2541d4d8ccbd462b5.jpg (Just replace the tank top with a plain black one and the necklace with a gold heart locket. Not to mention black wire-framed glasses.)
Personality: Very clever and smart, considered the top detective out there. She's kind of locked her emotions away because personality on the detective field never lasts long. You have to discover it.
Talents: She has the uncanny ability to be able to write super fast.
Flaws: She's very cold which makes people assume really bad things about her and it kind of hurts her, to be honest.
Background: You'll see ;)
Other: She can play the guitar and piano but almost never gets the chance to.
(She seems great, but what does she look like?)

The style of his hair is a messy, side swept type (http://www.mens-hairstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Messy-Mens-Hairstyles.jpg). He has lighter colored skin, more on the pale side. His eyes are a light grey color, and have a piercing, almond shape. His facial features are very clean cut and sharp. He stands at about 6’1 with a toned, slightly muscular build, weighing around 200 lbs. he has various scars on his skin. His most noticable marking is a tattoo on his inner left forearm, it being the name ‘Adeline’ written in little kid handwriting. When he is alone, he wears more casual clothing- tshirts and sweatpants.
Personality: When first getting to know him, he seems like a very closed off person. He tends to always be introverted, and would rather spend his time alone then talk to people. He seems rough around the edges, and someone who would be very rude towards others. Once you get to know him, though, he completely changes. He becomes extremely loyal, talks a bit more, and over protective. He tends to sacrifice things for the ones he loves whether they want him to or not. (Yeah, let me type something up)
The job was done. It was over. Another murder. What was that number? Vaughn almost couldn’t remember. 39, it’s 39, he thought. He was walking quickly through the dark, almost deserted streets. He had to get to the abandoned gas station where he lived. He also had to hide his button up, which was stained with blood that was definitely not his own.
Roxanne stepped into the small shop in the center of town. The clerk scrambled to his feet. "D-Detective Marx! What are you doing here ma'am?" "Cut the the shit Alex. Where is it?" "O-Out back. I-I can't look at it." She nodded curtly and headed out the back door of the exit of the shop and encountered the bloodied mess. The familiar sharp smell of blood hit her like a ton of bricks. "Must've been recent. Probably just missed him." She muttered to herself. Private Investigator Roxanne Marx, best this God forsaken town had to offer. She'd been following this string of murders for months now and had come up with nothing so far.
Vaughn had his collar up to partly conceal his face as he strode through the darkness with his head ducked down. Why was he worrying about people seeing his appearance? No one knew who had committed the murders, much kess what their gender was. But it was better to be cautious at all times. He responded to a whisper that he heard in a mumble. He was told to hurry up. Go on, Finley, they whispered. Run far far away to your little hiding spot.
The victims didn't seem to have anything in common other than how they were killed, meaning that they were all done by the same person. She headed back inside. "Another one." "Same person?" "Mhmm." "Do you think you'll ever get 'em, Detective?" "Justice finds a way, no matter how long it takes." She brushed her hair out of her face and marched out. She headed down the abandoned streets and pulled out her pack of relief sticks. She didn't hesitate to light one immediately. Yeah, some people said she had a smoking problem but it helped her to relax and think so they had no right to complain. She walked down the street with her cigarette clenched between her teeth, ignoring everyone and everything.
Vaughn’s fingers twitched as he reached up to brush hair out of his face. “Shut up,” he mumbled to the voices. They usually weren’t so demanding. He had nothing to worry about at the moment. He was almost to the gas station. Almost in the clear. He just had to get there first.
She looked up and…wait was that a person? Yeah, that was definitely a person! "Hey!" She yelled before she could even think about it.
Vaughn heard someone yell. Every nerve in his body felt immediately filled with adrenaline. He made sure his coat was buttoned so that the blood couldn’t be seen and he stopped before turning on his heel to look at the women. He stuffed his hands into his pockets, wanting to fidgit with his knife. But he didn’t kill women. He could never bring himself to harm a woman.
She stepped closer, the stranger coming into focus. "What are you doing out here so late at night?" And why do you smell so strongly of blood?
“It’s not too late, just a bit past eight,” Vaughn responded levely, his voice deep and smooth. She is figuring you out, Finley, the whispers warned, but he shook them off. No she wasn’t. He looked normal. “I’m walking home from my work.”
