(Alright! :)
(Alright! :)
"Uh, yeah, okay," Edward winced slightly from the loud noise, not quite used to such levels of sound. 'Hey, Book? Can you muffle the sound, please?' The Book sighed. 'Fine. Can't have a useless vessel, now, can we? But you'll need to pay me back later.' 'Okay.' Edward responded. Returning out of his head and blinking away the glassy look that came over his eyes when he directly talked to the book, Edward looked around to make sure nobody had noticed.
Kuno hadn't noticed. He was already inside the kitchen, chatting to one of the cooks in Opreian as he filled his bowl with noodle soup.
"I heard you got an assistant to help you with that mess of a library." The cook glanced over at Edward. "Is that him?" Kuno followed her eyes to Edward.
"Yeah." He waved at Edward. "Come on over, Edward," Kuno continued in English. "Take whatever you want."
"He looked a little weird just now. Are you sure he's not sick?" The cook whispered. Kuno frowned and looked back at Edward. He didn't seem sick to him.
"I think he's fine," Kuno answered softly. "I'll keep an eye on him, though."
(so sorry i haven't been responding im having trouble thinking of what to write and final project is stressful > <)
(You're good! Real life is more important than this, so take as much time as you need. :)
'Hey hey hey, did you forget we're supposed to kill him?' the Book whispered as Edward walked over to Kuno. "No, I didn't." 'Ha! You totally did! What a joke!' The Book continued to tease him, but Edward did his best to tune it out. The noise made it a bit hard to concentrate, so Edward just took some of the first food he saw. "I didn't ask you to muffle the outside noise just so you could replace it with your own screaming." The Book stopped speaking for a second. 'Ohoho, getting sassy are you? Remember you need me to complete your mission.' "Right. Yeah, Sorry." With a renewed determination to complete his goal, Edward decided that he would stick close to Kuno as much as he could, and learn as much about Kuno as he could, in order to properly pull this off.
(i've updated Edward's profile a bit)
(Okay!)
Kuno motioned for Edward to follow him as he headed out of the kitchen. After a few twists and turns, they ended up in the gardens. Kuno headed past a few empty tables, aiming for the one in the very back of the gardens. It was quiet there, and his usual spot. If anyone wanted to find him during lunch hour, they would probably look there. After walking through a small grove of delicate trees with orangish leaves, the path dropped them at a pond full of water lilies. Kuno headed towards a table next to it and sat down.
