It was supposed to be a one night stand. Nothing but revenge sex, to get back at the boy who broke her heart. How was she supposed to predict falling in love with him?
Estelle De Vos has had her heart broken more times than she can count. Just when she thought things were going great and finally looking up for her, she found herself standing amidst the rubble of the best, and longest, relationship she had ever been in, along with her entire future. Her fiancé had cheated on, and then left, her. With and for her younger sister.
So she followed the advice her late mother had given her once upon a time. And she slept with his best friend.
It was a one time thing, meant to be one last 'fuck you' to her ex before she cut ties with him and anyone involved with him. But things didn't quite work out that way, because no matter how hard she tries, she keeps running into her ex's best friend. And suddenly the reminders of finding her fiancé in bed with her sister aren't the only things she had to deal with. Sexual tension between her and a man she shouldn't even speak to, her probably crazy step-mother, and finding a date to her own best friend's wedding are all combining in what's either bad karma, or just bad timing. Maybe a mix of both.
Now she just has to figure out which to listen to, her heart, or her head, when it comes to the complicated tangle of feelings and pieces of her future she's trying to pick up.
If worst comes to worst, she could just listen to her step-mother.

No Mary/Gary Sues/Stues are a hard nope from yours truly.

Proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization, please. I can get making a few mistakes, when you're tired, or English ain't your first language(It's mine, and even I have my issues), but if it's too common a thing, it irks the hell outta me. Call me a bitch, but hey.

Slurs, homophobia, transphobia, rascism, sexism, anything that ends in -ism and that harms or promotes the harm of other people will not be tolerated. See my first threat. However! For plot devices, it might be considered, if you talk to me about it first.
-
Detailed-ish responses, please. Think three or more sentences. To keep it going.
-
Please, be on fairly often. Vacations, school, and jobs are all things I can get, but I'd like for this to have a regular pace!

Rated Spicey for just that, Spicey things. Whether it be mature topics, smexy things, or, gasp, blood, this is the only warning I'll remember to give.

Please keep the plot going! It's really hard for me to be invested in a roleplay if the other person reacts more than acts, and I'm excited about this premise and would love to keep it going as long as I can.

I have the full right to add and edit this list. I also have the right to boot you if you're causing too many problems.
Ignore the dramatic af title, it was just a step up from the last one, and something I came up with at three in the morning when I awoke to my cat, chewing on my toes.
I'll answer any questions for those who want to join, and a temp will come if anyone does!
