Lili smiled wider. Letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding. She wasnt sure how Aa would react but now a slight weight was lifted from her shoulder. She has a few different hiding spots around the castle but this was her favorite. She took Ana's hand and sat down on the cushion next to her. "Thank you. I try my best to keep it nice and cozy." She leaned on Ana slightly.
Ana smiled a little to herself when Lili sat down beside her. She moved her dress out of the way and gently pulled Lili more into her side. She let her arm drape over Lili's shoulders as they sat. She nods slowly. "I think it's a very beautiful place." She murmured quietly. "You did well." She hummed and gave a content sigh. She was glad that there had been a mix up. Lili was truly a wonderful woman, kind and sweet. And the two of them got along rather well so far.
Lili blushed lightly and nodded. She looked over at Ana. Careful not to be her arm. She faced forward and rested her head on Ana shoulder. looking out the window in front of us. "I wish we could just stay up here like this. Peaceful. I never really showed anyone this place before. This only one of my friends when we were very young but i soon made a no-boys policy so he was banned." Se said laughing slightly remembering her childhood.
Ana gazed at her and smiles softly, holding her hand a little bit as she watched the other. Lili was so beautiful and cute. She looked out the window as well, humming softly as she listened. "Me too." She whispered. She listened intently to Lili's story, a sweet smile on her lips. "Hmm. That sounds like fun." She chuckles and leans against the other, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. "Tell me more." She whispered.
(sorry the end of the semester killed me)
Lili's blush deepened when she felt Ana's kiss. She nodded. "I used to have more things up here but i moved most of it slowly. Wanted more room to move around. So now i just bring whatever books I'm currently reading." She said looking up at Ana slightly without moving her head much. "This may be a bit random but have you ever dated before?" She messed with the end of her sleeve nervously.
(No worries.)
Ananhummed and nods a little bit and glances down at Lili. She chuckles softly. "Yes… Once. Before I was around the age of 16." She hummed to herself, her mind wandering to the memories. She played with Lili's hair mindlessly, her eyes shutting in thought. "She was a year older than me. She was my mothers maid." She chuckles into her hand.
Lili's eyes widened slightly but she nodded. Laughing softly with her. Her blush hadn't faded. "That sounds nice. I've never if that isn't obvious," she laughed again sounding more nervous. She straightened her head and looked out the window. "How long where you together?" She moved her hand to Lili's free hand.
She shrugged a little bit in thought, her eyes softening a little bit. "We started secretly seeing each other." She giggles quietly at the memory. But her expression saddened. "We dated for about two years." She whispers. "But…" Her eyes sadden a little bit. "One day…" She hummed and shook her head before leaning against Lili.
Lili looked up at Ana gently. Studying her face for a moment. "It's okay you don't have to explain." She tightened her hold on Ana's hand. Deciding to share a bit of her own romantic past. "I had a few cruses when i was younger even if I didn't notice. Most recent big one has to be my riding instructor around 2 years ago. my first female teacher. I already knew everything about riding but I pretended not to so shed show me." her cheeks reddened more and she leaned on Ana again. "Never admitted it though."
Ana hummed and squeezed her hand tightly before leaning into Lili and listening intently. She giggles softly, "Your riding instructor, hm? Very lucky." She hummed and pressed a soft kiss to Lili's cheek. "Riding instructors are always beautiful. I always had a crush on my literature teacher, of course, she was married and had two little children." She laughs at the memory. "Of course that was when I was around the age of 12. I think that's when it hit me that I liked girls." She played with Lili's fingers mindlessly.
"I'm not sure when I figured out I liked girls. I think I just always knew I just didn't know there was a name for it until recently. a friend of mine the same one who helps me get books came out last year. He has a few older siblings so his parents didn't really care as long as he kept things private," He watched outside as a flock of birds flew by.
She nods thoughtfully, pressing closer to Lili and pressing a kiss to the others hand. She was glad for this mixup, that was for sure. She listens intently to the others story, a small smile on her lips as she played with Lili's hair. "Well that works. It's a shame he must hide himself though. It's simply not fair." She sighed deeply.
Lili smiled when she felt her playing with her hair. "Yeah it is but he never actually does hide it. Everyone just assumes whoever he's dating is his friend. I bet he could kiss him in front of everyone and they would still be labeled as roommates," She laughed slightly. "We need to go soon but I really wish we didn't."
She smiled a little bit, "Hmmm… like with the tales of Achilles and Patroclus. Historians simply write them off as close friends. However, the truth of the matter was that they were deeply in love." She laughed quietly and brushed some hair from Lili's face. "Yes, I suppose we need to go soon. Why don't we go? Get it over with as quickly as possible?" She smiled a bit at the other.
Lili nodded. "Yeah, I heard about them. There was no way they were just friends." she looked down at her lap for a moment. "You're right. it's better to just go now and get it over with. Then hopefully the rest of our day will be free." She stood up and offered her hand.
Ana smiled a little bit at the other before standing up slowly, taking her hand and pulling herself up. She dusts off her dress and smooths down her hair before offering a hand to Lili. "Shall we then?" She asks brightly, a gentle smile on her lips. "Perhaps once the meeting is done we can go and explore?" She asks curiously.
(sorry i like disappeared for months. went awol to focus on school and work but I've been wanting to get back into rping and writing so I thought Id come back. not see if you're still interested or active but let me know. this rp was so much fun and id love to continue!)
(No worries! I'd love to continue!)
(great!) Lili took Ana's hand standing up and smoothing her own dress as well. Her smile grew at her offer. "Of course. we can go wherever you want after the meeting." She started down the stairs still holding Ana's hand. They had lost track of time and were going to be a bit late for lunch with her father but Lili couldn't make herself regret sitting in the tower with Ana.
Ana followed quietly after, a small smile on her lips. She was pleased, to say the least as she followed after the other quietly. She walked beside Lili, humming a bit as they walked through the halls to lunch. She didn't mind being late. Time was a simply a human concept.
Lili walked into the dining room where her father already sat. Usually her father would have lunch in his study but Lili had not been allowed in there so she knew she would find him here. she sat down across from her father leaving the seat next to her open for Ana. The king didnt comment on them being late or even walking in holding hands. he just nodded at the pair as they settled. "I hope you have been liking your stay here Anastasia.
She glanced at the King, bowing her head in respect before settling beside Lili, smoothing out her dress and humming softly. "Yes, I have been. Your daughter has been showing me around, helping me get used to the castle." She offers a bit of a smile, but not much. Underneath the table, she took Lili's hand, gently squeezing it.
Lili squeezed her hand back grateful for the touch. A servant brought out their food. “Well I am glad that I set up this lunch meeting with the two of you wouldn’t want you to show up late to the council meeting as well. We will have to head straight over after lunch. Now Anastasia this has to all be just as shocking to you as to us is it not?” The king asked. Lili stayed quiet trying to see where he was going with this.
She glanced at the food and hummed softly, looking content as she looked at the meal. She hummed as she glanced at the king, shrugging slightly. "In my country, it's not really a surprise to see same sex couples. While it was a bit surprising at first, I don't mind it in the slightest." She replied politely. She gently squeeze Lili's hand and waited patiently for the king and Lili to eat. She had an unreadable expression.
The king tried to hide his confusion and shock. Lili wanted to say something but half the time her words died in her throat around her father. "I must admit that that is not how things are done around here. Our people were expecting a future king. We will have to figure something out about.." He doesn't finish his sentence just gesturing to the two of them he spoke like he was thinking out loud rather than to the two princesses.
