Cayden and Noctem pause, then push open the doors.

"Well, if you need only one of them, that will be a problem for sure, because we are Cayden and Noctem." they both say at the same time, then they bow, glance at each other and grin. They straighten up.

Noctem says "And I'm sure the king will be here soon. We've been waiting a long time for you, Cassiel, Chosen of the Gods. Welcome to our city."

Cayde merely eyes Cass aprehensively, sensing she's a vampire. "I'm not a big fan of vampires."

On’nyosh flinched, caught off guard by the sudden snatch. He sighed, chuckling in amusement.

“You know, most of the assholes here would be glad to hold me at knifepoint, so I think your point is futile. Besides… why would you be using a knife, Pale One?”On’nyosh asked, his voice becoming quieter.

He knew well the speed and stealth of vampires, and though she seemed to be a bit darker skinned than most, she was still pale. She also had a lovely shoulder, and voice. If only he could see the rest of her.

On’nyosh couldn’t help but chuckle again, his thoughts already drifting down a less professional path. He licked his lips, the wetness distracting him from his thoughts, though his heart was already pounding.

He noticed the entrance of Cayden and Noctem and snorted, rolling his eyes at Cayden’s comment. Though, the name did catch his attention. Cassiel? Chosen One? Intriguing.

"I can read you like a book, jester. Don't even think about it." she whipsers. "And I use a knife because I'm sure your blood is as dirty and disgusting as your mind."

She paused at Cayden's words, then sighs. "Sorcerers. They always know things they shouldn't." she says, stepping away from On'nyosh in disgust and sheathing her knife.

"Now, will someone explain to me why everyone else knew I would come here well before I did?"

@EtherealDreamer

Geneviera sensed people below her, her wings helped her stay afloat high in the sky. Down below she could see just enough of a person to realise who it was; Ryen. Usually she would flap her winds as hard as possible in his direction to create whirlwinds, sending him, his house and that stupid wife of his and their chunky, beady eyed little brats flying in the wind like dead grass. But not today, she decided against it today, for today she felt like shit.

She kept flying, keeping herself in the clouds as to not be seen, most villagers did not like the site of her and honestly, she couldn't blame them. She flew straight, her dress skirt flapping against her legs, she knew if she flew any lower, the villagers would know who she was instantly, after all she did dress in a on of a kind, kind of way. With her stitched multicolored dress; the left shoulder was a pale blue, the right a dark green, a patch near her left hip was purple, and the rest of the dress was a soft yellow color. Her stockings were multicolored too, her left leg was pink, her right a rusty orange color. And alas her shoe's her left was white, her right; black.

She headed for the tavern, where she spent most of her days hiding out from the townspeople who were considered normal. She landed near the tavern door and walked in, the woman behind the bar nodded at her and she nodded back, seeing as she was here almost everyday. She sat on a barstool, smiling as the woman behind the bar came closer, until they were standing face to face, with only the bar between them.

"Hey there Geneviera" The woman; Starcilla said softly, smiling as brightly as the sun, as she usually was when Geneviera came in, I don't know how she smiles like that everyday, being around all these people who're as fucked up as me all the time. She thought to herself, suppressing a smile; one she hoped was a equally bright as Starcilla's but she figured was not.

"Hey Star." Geneviera said to the other woman, her eye's trailing the fluffy top she was wearing. "I love that top by the way, did you make it?" she asked curiously, her red, yellow and blue eyelashes fluttering.

"I did, I did…and look at you, I see your still making your own clothes too, I love how you don't care what anyone thinks of the way you dress or carry yourself, honestly what's your secret?" Starcilla said, placing her elbows on the middle of the bar and leaning forward.

Geneviera leaned forward as well, batting her dyed eyelashes at Starcilla, her mouth drawn into a smirk; which was on the verge of flirtatious and humorous. She leaned forward until her ear was nearly touching Starcilla's right left ear. "The secret is…" she paused and exhaled "not giving a damn." She finished and pulled away slowly, Starcilla smiled and headed back towards the other end of the bar "Geneviera you're such a tease!" she yelled, causing some other people in the tavern to turn in their direction for a few brief seconds.

"We both know that's not really true Star! I give what I put out, if you get lonely you know where I'll be!" She yelled to the other woman, who flipped her off then went into the back, the bar doors flapping gently behind her.

She picked up the amber colored drink in front of her, she hadn't even noticed Starcilla put it there, she took a large gulp then tossed her head back, looking up at the ceiling. "Ah, that girl is going to the death of me." She whispered to herself.

On’nyosh hummed at her words, chuckling.

“My mind may be dirty as hell, but I’ve heard that my blood is quite savory,”he whispered back.

He straightened when she let him go, turning around to get a good look at her. A thoughtful grin came to him as he admired her beauty, and his eyes locked on hers, frozen for a long moment. Beautiful and… blind? And yet she seemed to have something akin to keen eyesight. A unique individual indeed.

“Well, I didn’t expect you. Though, I wish I had. Might I say that you are absolutely gorgeous, and so damn quaint?”he commented, for once not speaking an insult while in the throne room.

Was it wise to speak as he just did in front of Cayden and Noctem? On’nyosh didn’t know, or care. He was truly fascinated by the small vampire before him.

@knightinadream group

Valdemaras stood beyond the gardens in his usual regal uniform. Two soldiers from the royal army stood exactly five feet behind him. He preferred to start out each morning with some sort of form of exercise for at least an hour. Though he could not sleep this morning and he decided to shoot arrows for an extra hour.

A trail of sweat ran down the side of his face. Two hours suddenly turned into three and then three and a half. With his left index and middle finger, he pulled the string back. His arm drew back up until he let go. The arrow was released then flew into the tree over into the forests. Lowering his bow, a smile swept his face.

"Your Majesty, it is a quarter till ten," He heard one of the soldiers say. The other stepped forward and took the bow after he held it towards the other. Taking deep breaths, he gave them a simple head bow before making his way over to the inside of the palace.

At the entrance of the palace, he got on the rest of his regalia then went inside. One of his advisors was also there, giving him details about his daily schedule, but also informed him about a visitor. The king's walking quicken into a jog then a run.

With his hand holding onto his crown, he stopped at the back door of the main hall. Just standing on the outside, he could hear everyone inside. Even after a couple of years, it was still a strange feeling to him. Giving a nod to the servant at door, he waited for the doors to open.

Valdemaras stepped inside the main hall. His eyes glanced around at everyone that was there in front of him. A chuckle slipped through his lips as he smiled. "Ah, I am so happy that we have a newcomer with us this morning," He beamed, giving a head bow to everyone then turned to the new woman. "Now, did On'nyosh give you a laugh or did he give you a difficult time, my new friend? Are you alright?"

A small dove circled the tip of the tallest of the Alyiin mountains, the grey clouds wafting through it's tar black feathers. As it wriggled the ends of its wings in the wind, it looked over at the kingdom that lay before it and every part of its body seemed to go slack.

As the birds body went from streamlined to drooping down, it flapped its wings and landed on a branch nearby. As it dropped from it's high place in the sky, the air pressure rose. The tension released in a crack of lightning, landing near where the bird had landed. Still looking at the kingdom, Tiamat went deep into thought.

They truly live their lives in ignorant bliss. Their eyes shot from one city to the next, keen and precise focus in every glance. With every turn of the dove's small head, the gusts would change direction with it. They don't know what is coming.

In a way, it would be honorable to die. A death light and quick, doing what you love. it thought intensely I will not offer them that. The dove closed its bright red eyes and shook its head, droplets of rain falling off of it's soft down. I will award them what they have earned. Tainting the balance of the earth with their sweet and sour sentimentalities.

It then opened its eyes once more and readied it's wings up to fly, exposing the crimson red circular mark at the center of it's chest, vaulting back into the sky. As it flew southbound, the storm seemed to follow it, spreading a trail of cold, bitter air and sodden ground. It's mind also went aflutter, drifting off, eventually landing on a certain, small fairy girl.

Its servant, bound to it through her deepest desires.

Amidst It's flight, it set its mind upon hers, connecting the two. It spoke to her psychically. It is time. I am coming.

(Whenever Tiamat speaks in bold, they're speaking psychically. Usually to Geneviera, but sometimes it'll project it's voice further.)

On’nyosh turned at the King’s approach and cleared his throat, hoping that his admiration of Cassiel hadn’t been so obvious.

“Hell, this little trickster caught me. I didn’t even get a word in edgewise before she snatched me in a damn chokehold,”he commented, snickering.

On’nyosh gave Cassiel a last thoughtful glance before returning to his usual spot next to the throne.

(I'm just going to go full send here, don't mind me!)

Cass chuckles at the King's words and says, "Listen to the jester, my good King Valdemaras. He speaks the truth, I think, for once."

Telepathically, to On'nyosh, she says You do realize I know exactly what you're thinking, right? And how pointless it is to try and hide it? And I highly doubt many have had the chance to… taste… you.

"Now, as your court Sorcerer may have already told you, but I suspect neither have, I am here in regards to the prophesy." she says, once again exposing her star shaped mark. "As I understand it, there is an evil here, one of great power that even Cayden and Noctem haven't found or defeated. I am destined to find and win against this thing, but how am I to do that without knowledge and help?"

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lol. And here comes the whore)

On’nyosh listened to Cassiel’s words, savoring the sound of her voice. He wasn’t sure why he liked it so much, but he did.

At the sudden voice in his head, he paused, bewildered. He then realized that it was Cassiel. She was a telepath too? On’nyosh burst into laughter, both at the new discovery and at her words.

“Oh, madam Cassiel, you’d be surprised,”he replied to her telepathic words out loud.

He then thought of a question, wondering if he could somehow communicate telepathically as well. Or, at least have her read his mind and catch his words. Is that an offer, oh beautiful Cassiel? I love your name, by the way.

On’nyosh then listened closely to her spoken words, admiring the glimpse of her shoulder again. He recalled the dark clouds he had been watching for three days and it finally made sense.

“You’re here to fight whatever the fuck is lurking in the dark storm cloud over the Alyiin Mountains,”he remarked.

He then grinned wide.

“Given your apparent fondness for knives, I could teach you a few moves with a blade, a rapier to be exact,”On’nyosh offered.

(Good! Let's see this RP into chaos and insanity, shall we, with Cass and On'nyosh?)

I know why you like my voice, and I'm sure it has to do with what you see. she replies, hearing him loud and clear. And anybody can learn to speak mind-to-mind. You figured it out, seeing as how you can hear me this clearly.

"That is another way to put it, but yes." she replies, for all to hear.

And I might just consider your offer, jester. I do need some practice with a sword.

Deleted user

Cayde and Noctem listen to all this, gathering information and storing it for later.

You know, if you want everybody to hear you, you're doing a fine job of it. Both of you. Noctem says, smirking.

Be quiet, Noctem! Cayde interjects, adding, Let the whores be whores.

"I have to agree with On'nyash for once." Cayde says, going back to normal speech. "However, it is not just Tiamat you need to worry about: be on the lookout for Geneviera, Tiamat's second in command. She's cunning and devious."

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lmao!)

On’nyosh laughed again.

What can I say? I like gorgeous women. And I may be a fool, but I’m not stupid, just remember that, he commented.

On’nyosh snorted at her spoken words.

“Well, whatever it is, those clouds don’t look too happy. And I’ve never seen that sort of storm linger for three whole days in one spot. That shit bothers me. When the weather goes awry, shit gets bad, very bad.”

Which offer, and which sword? Or are you considering both?

On’nyosh then burst into laughter once again at Cayden and Noctem’s telepathic comments. Despite his laughter, he listened close to Cayden’s words, memorizing the names ‘Tiamat’ and ‘Geneviera’.

Deleted user

(I'm getting an idea- don't worry about it right now, it'll come into play later, grins)

Debatable, that last part. And of course you do. I'm just especially irresistable. she replies, grinning.

"I know that, fool. I may be blind, but I'm not blind." she says aloud.

Does it matter which sword? I need practice with anything bigger than a shorsword built for a short person. And either offer is fine. Do I look like the type of person to care who I'm with?

Deleted user

(Flirtiness between Cass and On'nyosh intensifies Lol this is going in the same direction as earlier.)
(And should I be scared-?)

Cayde hears Cass's last comment and smiles.

"Anyways, you're right again, On'nyosh. Gods, the world must be seriously out of balance when I'm admitting the jester has a point twice. What's next, I wonder? Flying pigs? Hell freezing?" Cayde comments.

Noctem snorts and grins at Cayde.

They both turn to the King. "What do you suggest, my liege?"

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Ooh…)
(I know, right? Lol)

On’nyosh grinned back, chuckling.

You’re not wrong there.

On’nyosh snickered.

“Well, Master of the Obvious here,”he replied, not indicating whether he meant Cassiel or himself.

On’nyosh burst into laughter again, his eyes watering because he was laughing so hard.

“That’s a good one. I’ve got to remember that one,”On’nyosh commented aloud.

Very well then. Good thing I have a rapier big enough for a tall person.

“Oh, probably Hell freezing and cracking open,”On’nyosh replied aloud to Cayden, chuckling.

(This is getting warped on so many levels, lmao!)

Deleted user

I know I'm not wrong. I hardly ever am. she comments.

"Who, me or you? You have to be specific." Cass says aloud, giggling as well.

Well, let's see it then! No warning, see if you can hit me. I'll try to get the sword away from you. What do you want to bet that I'll beat you into next Sunday? she replies, grinning and giggling still.

"Also, I'm sorry my king. On'nyosh seems to be a very… interesting… individual. Hardly anybody can catch my attention for this long." Cass says, smiling at Valdemaras.

(I know! It's amazing!)

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

On’nyosh snickered some more.

No comment on both whether you’re always right and who I’m talking about.

He grinned mischievously.

Now you’ll have to specify. One you might be able to take from me, the other… you’ll be taking me with it, he commented, his grin growing wider.

“Ah, don’t worry. Fat ass here is used to my shenanigans. He knows I love to steal the moment from him,”On’nyosh remarked aloud, waving his hand at Valdemaras.

Deleted user

(Fair warning, this might get awkward for everyone else here!)

Use your head, fool. I mean see if you can hit me before I get the sword away from you. What do you want to bet that I'll succeed? Maybe… a kiss if you win? That should motivate you to try. she says drily, grinning at On'nyosh. And if you lose, who knows… maybe I'll kiss you anyways.

She knows Cayde and Noctem are listening, but she doesn't care very much, like usual.

And in response to On'nyosh's last comment she says "I'm sure he is, On'nyosh. I'm sure he is."
