Plot
When two musicians meet at a music school, they quickly bond. Eventually, they decide to enter a competition together. Uh… they get really close ig?

Basic Description
Hi yes I would like another serving of a good rp please!~ So basically I had this idea where two musicians are at a music school, I was thinking Juilliard, and they bump into each other more than other students whom they don't really know well and they get close and stuff… And the instruments they play are ones that… well if one plays the piano than the other can basically play anything but if one plays the violin than the other has to play something that would have sheet music written for violin and some other instrument.

Hello! I've got a few musical children

Nice! So, uh, apologies that the plot isn't really fully fleshed out, it was just an idea I had.

That's alright, we can flesh it out with some discussion.

So I'll either have to have the pleasure of creating a new musical child, or you can pick from one of my four that best suits your idea. I love makng characters so it really won't be a hassle if that's the case

Kit - non-binary; chill guitarist (pan)
Ryker - male; tiny and angry guitarist (very gay)
Alexis - male; protective Greek drummer (bi)
Theresa - female; angry but loyal singer/learning guitarist (pan)

Those are the basics of them, for an idea

Hmm I was aiming more towards the classical type of musicians? You get what I mean? So none of these really fit what I was thinking of (I'm sorry I feel like I'm making it harder for you)

That's what I thought, lol. It's alright! I, myself, differ to more…hardcore…music instead of classical, but I can definitely make a pianist. Preference for gender?

So for plot, I got an idea of the competition winnings being a really good scholarship for the school? And maybe one of them has stage fright, so the other has to help them through that so they can both get the scholarship to make their tuition easier?

Hmm maybe we can just say that you have to pay tuition for each year you plan to attend as it comes? (I don't actually know how it works for Juilliard but oh well) And yea, that'll work! Did you want to have your character have the stage fright, or should mine?

For college, you have to either pay for the entire tuition or borrow money that would cover it. Julliard is a 4-year school, so their tuition would be for 4 years. Scholarships are essentially getting money from a source, whether that be from the school or a separate organization that is offering the scholarships, and lowers the amount of money you have to pay for the schooling.

With that little info dump out of the way, lmao, my character can have stage fright. I usually have characters that provide comfort and help but don't accept help, so it'll be another change for me

I see. So… from what I understand, the whole amount (for tuition) needs to be paid right away?

Usually by a student loan, which is paid off over time. If we do the scholarship idea, I'm thinking maybe they use that money to pay off part of that loan with the money they earn?

Appearance: He has naturally black hair that he dyes blonde sometimes, though he never really cares when the color fades and the roots grow back in. The strands typically fall into his bright blue eyes, which light up whenever he shows off his dimple-filled smile. He's not very impressive at 5'9 with a slim and not very muscular build. The veins on his arms are somewhat prominent, and his fingers are long with knobby knuckles—dubbed piano-fingers by some of his old friends. Double hoop nose piercing, stud earrings, and a ring on his left middle finger. Musical heartbeat tattoo on the inside of his left wrist with a musical note tattoo on the inside of his right index finger.
Personality: Bubbly and friendly when he's comfortable, but otherwise shy and reserved. He's not very good at social interaction, mostly because he doesn't know what to say, but he's better with one-on-one interactions than multiple people at once. He tries to say that he's independent, but when it comes down to it, he would really love to have a friend with him to help him through things from time to time. The only time he's very open about his emotions and thoughts is when he's playing the piano. Then, he sinks into the music and pours his very soul out through the keys.

Personality: Julia loves to play music, and really enjoys playing in small groups, and even ensembles. She very much enjoys tree-climbing (although it's more of a hobby at this point than anything else), hanging with friends, and origami!

• Background: Julia has always been passionate about music. When she was nine, she started out with piano lessons for about two years, but quickly learned that it wasn't her passion in life. In fifth grade, however… that was when she was introduced to the wide variety of instruments out there. She knew almost immediately which one she wanted to try, though. And everyone who knew her could tell the difference. Violin would clearly be her life-long passion.

So that's what I've got done so far, and Noah looks great! (He's also described so much better than I can~)
