Poko smiled at the thought of dying his hair and sneered a bit. As if he wanted to call any more attention than he already did. This guy he was following was pretty snarky. "Well, as long as you think we'll be alright…" he looked this guy up and down. He was built pretty sturdily, and his red hair definitely made him more intimidating. " You look like you can hold your own"
As they ran through the doors, they came onto a small alleyway, just to the side of the store. Poko could hear the cops from right there, they were very close-by. Too close for comfort. He looked at his tall partner. "What now?"
Out of the corner of her eye, Solana noticed several cops following two figures who had left the store. One of them was the guy she had run into, the other one the guy who had been watching them. She pursed her lips, almost not sure if she should do anything. Every Glitch for themselves, she heard her mother say in her head. You can't afford to help others when you need to protect yourself, too.
Her lips curled into a small smirk, and she set down the box of hot cocoa she had been looking at down. Any chance she had to make her mother angry, she would take. The woman was dead anyway, so what did her words matter.
She followed the other two - she was pretty sure they were Glitches - out the door, keeping a casual distance. She watched as they disappeared into an alley, and the cops followed. She rolled her eyes. How stupid could these guys get? The best way to hide from police was to blend into the crowd, not go into the shadiest, most suspicious-looking destination in the entire freaking city.
She stuck her hands in her pockets and followed even more. Best to help those two if they're going to be so special.

Deacon softly scoffed to himself as they got out. As he stood against the wall, he started to look around, trying to find a way out. Scoffing to himself, he shook his head. "I probably could handle more than myself," He said. "We should be fine eventually, just as long as we get out in time."
The sounds of police coming close rang in his ears. Shit. There isn't much time for them, and there's not a lot of routes that they could take too. All he sees is the door to another building, the dumpsters, and a ladder that goes up to the roof of the other building. Then there's also things around he could burn, and yet using his abilities can bring more danger too.
He stood next to the guy before lifting his hood up. Leaning over he whispered, "Well, we could either climb up that ladder or go into the building across from us. We really don't have many options sadly, but we should make one quick."
Poko nodded to the guy. He knew a way they could make it up there quickly. As he heard the police getting closer, he broke into a cold sweat "Ok… I can get us out of here" He concentrated, closing his eyes. As he did this, the concrete ground under the two of them began to crack open and two thick, green vines whipped around them, quickly taking them both to the top of the building next to them, before shrinking back into the ground.
Poko looked down the ledge. The vines had settled into a tiny, inconspicuous patch of moss and grass. "That was close" he sighed, looking over to his side. He breathed in sharply, wincing "I hope you are a glitch like I had thought, or else this puts me in a really bad situation."
