"Good. He had better not. He should know better than to cross you." Addy remarked.
She giggled as her girlfriend stooped to her much-lower-and-obviously-adorable height. "Yes, very much!" she chirped. "Because now I can do this." She leaned in and kissed Natsume softly on the lips.
"He should, but he fucks about a little much. He's slept with all the female athletes - besides me, of course." Natsume grins.
"Oh-" she says softly, smiling and kissing Adalyn back, a soft nip of her teeth at the smaller girl's lips bringing her to heel.
Adalyn gasped softly into Natsume's mouth and blinked quickly. "S-Sorry," she stammered, blushing quickly. "It just caught me off guard…" She glanced down at her watch, and her eyes widened. "We should get going to class, we're going to be late." Her fingers tapped her side, anxiety building at just the prospect of being late.
Natsume laughs a little. "Oh, really?"
"Oh, yeah. All aboard Natsume Express!" she calls out cheerfully, picking Adalyn up and slinging her over her shoulders, running to class.
Adalyn squealed in surprise and buried her face in Natsume's shoulder. "Nat!" she cried, trying to hide her fierce blush and calm her racing heart. She didn't understand how her girlfriend was able to handle so much attention all focused on her. When it happened to Addy, she felt closer to vomiting.
"It's the fastest way, since your short legs can't exactly keep up with me." Natsume giggles, ignoring the strange looks she was getting from their fellow students. Even some teachers raised their eyebrows at the odd sight, though they were used to seeing various people slung over Natsume's shoulders - mainly Adalyn, of course - being sprinted to class.
She slides to a stop in front of their class and sets her girlfriend down.
Adalyn’s entire face was hot and lit up in a bright pink shade by the time her feet touched the ground again.
“Do you have to do that?” she asked, ducking her head to avoid the stares. “I know you don’t mind it, but I do…”
Most times, Adalyn didn’t mind her girlfriend holding everyone’s attention. It was the times that Natsume dragged Addy into the spotlight with her that she didn’t like so much.
She brushed her hair away from her face a bit as her blush cleared, and she checked to make sure she hadn’t lost anything in the chaotic ride to class. Specifically her headphones. She breathed a quiet sigh of relief when she felt them still around her neck.
"I mean, it was either that or be late, and you hate being late slightly more. I'll make it up to you tonight." Natsume teases, kissing Adalyn before pulling her into the room.
Their last hour - the hour they currently had together - was digital art. She'd roped Adalyn into taking the class with the promise that "you won't have to work with anyone but me;" so far, the promise had held.
After the class is over, she looks over at her girlfriend and nudges her.
"Hey- Addy- school's out-"
Addy's cheeks flamed at Natsume's words, but she still grinned shyly at the idea of her girlfriend "making it up to her."
She was deep in her creation on the computer – lips pursed and eyes darting around to take in all the details – when Nat nudged her out of her stupor.
"Oh," she said softly, quickly saving her project, logging off, and looking over at Natsume. "It is. That went by fast today!"
"Embarrassed and excited? Odd combination." Natsume teases, even though she was used to seeing that combo of emotions on her girlfriend.
"No, it really didn't; you just got too wrapped up in dancing in your seat and drawing to notice the time, dear." she laughs, slipping out of her seat and grabbing her bag.
Adalyn giggled. "You make me feel oxymorons of emotions," she teased softly, pecking Nat's cheek with a kiss before blushing at her girlfriend's follow-up. "I had a song stuck in my head, and I was working on my part of our next project!" she protested. Addy grabbed her backpack too and rose to her feet, still ridiculously short compared to her partner.
"Oh? How so?" Natsume giggles, ruffling Adalyn's hair slightly.
"What song? Maybe you could sing it for me?" she asks innocently.
Addy ducked out from under Natsume’s hand, but she was grinning. “I think you know how,” she murmured.
She glanced around to make sure there wasn’t anyone within close earshot before she began to sing the chorus from Runaway by AURORA very quietly.

Natsume snickers. "I don't! Explain it to me please?"
She listens intently, smiling softly.
"Beautiful, just like you." she murmurs.

Adalyn blushed and leaned against Natsume’s arm as they walked. She reached for her girlfriend’s hand and laced their fingers together.
“I won’t because you know exactly what I’m talking about!” she giggled.

"Well, explain it anyways?" Natsume smiles, chuckling as Adalyn takes her hand.
They reach the front doors of the school quickly.

"No!" Addy countered, jutting her bottom lip out playfully. "It's too much thinking. I'm done thinking for today. Too much. Too tired. Brain battery is too low. Shutting down. Good night."

"Oh, if that's the case then I can just do this-" Natsume laughs, lifting Adalyn into a princess carry. "-and you can sleep!"
Adalyn squeaked in surprise at the sudden motion, and yet again, her feet were lifted off the ground by her girlfriend's arms. "Nat!" she cried out, hiding her face in Natsume's neck shyly. "I can't sleep now!"
"Oh, so I interrupted the shutdown! That's nice!" Natsume snickers.
"And anyways, once we get on the road, you'll be wide awake." she adds cheerfully.
Addy giggled fiercely and nuzzled Natsume's neck with her nose. "You bet. You're very good at interrupting things, you know," she teased lightly. "But I still might be too tired for the party…"
Jumping a little, Natsume squeals "Hey, you know I'm ticklish there!" and nearly drops Adalyn.
"I could wake you up a little bit before we go then." she suggests with a slight snicker.
Addy grinned and laughed, but she clung tighter to Nat in an instant as she was almost dropped. "Do I really trust you to carry me?" she asked teasingly before her entire face went pink at the snicker Natsume added behind her words. "And how exactly are you planning on doing that?"
