@ElderGod-Carrots
July fourteen, 2154:
It's 12:32 pm and its still pitch black outside, as it has been for the past three months. The government has officially fallen, even North Korea opened its borders for people to pass. Russia and the US haven't threatened each other, actually there has been radio silence from most countries. Everything has gone to shit. Two thirds of the population have died from 'natural causes' but I doubt that's true. I haven't seen anyone in weeks and I don't know when I next will meet another human. The world has fallen. And all because the sun didn't rise.
It's the year 2154 and Earth is dong better then ever. Earth travel has never been better, technology has improved society immensely, we've cured cancer and many other conditions. But on May fourth, there was no sunrise. At first, scientists thought it would just rise at a later time but it didn't rise at all. And it didn't rise the next day, or the day after that yet the world didn't end like some people predicted. No. The world just descended into chaos and darkness.
People started to be murdered, crime increased and governments crashed in the space of three months. Scientists still are trying to figure out the sun disappeared but are at a loss.
Our story takes place here during this time. Our characters meet on the way to a safe bunker created in the middle of America. This bunker holds enough room for 160 people to travel on a ship called the Salvation to another planet on hopes to create a better life, or find a way to find out why the sun disappeared. Both of our characters were invited months ago to travel on Salvation and are now just finally heading to the bunker. Hopefully they'll make it in time.
Rules:
- Please write more the one sentence! It's one of my pet peeves, I get the occasional one liner but try not to write them, at least two to three.
- Please be nice.
- Correct grammar and punctuation is appreciated.
- This will probably have gore and shit, also swearing and other mature themes so you have to be okay with that.
- I can say no to you if you ask to join. I don't do it often but it could happen.
- Please don't let this die.
- LGBTQ+ is allowed since this will be a romance.
- Uh, I can't think of anything else right now so that's it for now
