So I just read the first captive prince book, and I'd love to do an rp with the same premise!

(It's kind of a lot, but if you don't know the series, here's a brief summary: there's kingdom a and kingdom b. The kings of both countries have died and the prince of kingdom a is betrayed by his brother and sent to the prince of kingdom b as a slave. The prince of kingdom b doesn't know his identity, and soon the two must learn how to rely on each other as plots to kill the prince of kingdom b and frame kingdom a begin to take place around them)

(Sounds good! Want me to send a template? Also, just fyi, I kind of like doing some culture building in rps like these because it's an interesting way to show where ideals/personality traits come from. Is that okay?)

(Make one up! Just make sure your country kind of embodies your character in what traits they think are important/ how 'civilized' they are/ etc)

(Cool! I'm going to try and have my character be kind of an opposite to yours so we get some dramatic tension.)

(That's perfectly fine! I know I take forever on my character sheets too, take your time)

(Thanks for understanding! I’m finished! It’s longer than I expected it to be lol)

Name: Leviticus “Levi” ( nickname pronounced like “levee”) Elerib
Age (17-25): 19
Sexuality: bisexual
Personality: An ambivert, Levi very much enjoys socializing with his family and people outside of his family, offering kind words when they’re needed. His ease with socializing can come across as flirtation at times, which can either help or hurt his image depending on who he’s talking to. He does, however, enjoy his time on solitary horseback rides through a path freshly coated with snow. It’s during this time that he makes most of his decisions, and analyzes situations or ideas
Beliefs (religious stuff, personal convictions, mottos they live by, etc): monotheistic religion (I’ll think of the name later as I develop it): believe everything is connected and created by one force, the religious leaders use the stars and constellations to tell the earth history, beliefs are passed down verbally through the religious leaders (everything written down is in books kept locked and hidden away in a library away from public use, only a select handful of people can go into the library, even less can read the books. Because of their belief of everything is connected, family and platonic relationships are highly regarded ; Levi’s motto is
“The stars are heaven's light in the darkness.”
Levi is most motivated by his younger siblings and keeping them safe
Likes: birds, horseback riding (their horses are insanely fluffy to withstand the colder temperatures), snow, fur coats and other comfortable winter clothing, Festival of The Sleepless Night (very similar to our holiday season, it’s in the shortest night of the year, in the heart of winter, it’s a country custom to have a festival where people can sell baked goods, drink warmed alcoholic beverages, and exchange crafts and other goods all night. Almost nobody sleeps. )
Dislikes: rain, incense (hates the smoke), hot weather (his only experiences with hot weather are when he’s traveling)
Appearance: pretty much the Nord Widonia ideal for royalty: various piercings on his nose and ears,(some precious stones used in earrings and other jewelry is imported from other countries that have more suitable climates), narrow, defined jaw, olive skin tone, icy blue eyes, slim and toned body shape, ash brown hair (long and wavy to just below his shoulder-blades, usually pulled back in a ponytail or in braids. Length of hair and how decorated it is is used to show social standing. Someone in the royal family might have long hair and various amounts of jewelry in their hair, or piercings on his lip, nose, and ears. While a regular civilian might have shorter hair to the nape of his neck with maybe a couple braids tucked behind his ear. Females are free to decorate their hair with whatever they want. Royal females usually keep their hair down in voluminous locks framing their face, while regular female civilians braid their hair back or put it up into a bun)
Country name: Nord Widona (climate similar to Russia)
Typical outfit: On regular days he wears a fur-lined trench coat, tan trousers, and leather boots. On particularly cold days he wears a heavier coat, scarf, stocking cap, leather gloves, and knee-high boots . No matter the temperature outside, he always wears his piercings and a single silver ring

(Sorry this took so long, I had to eat dinner)
Name: Fiori 'Fi' (Pronounced 'fee') Misneach
Age (17-25): 21
Sexuality: Pansexual
Personality: Fi isn't a lover of socialization, lacking the sharp tongue and quick wit necessary to be truly adept, but is well versed in the subtleties of nonverbal communication. He hides his emotions behind a stormy wall of anger, though his small acts of affection often hint at the man behind it. When given the chance, Fi can be quite affectionate and will often dote on those he's close to. Of course, this behavior never manifests in public as it would be seen as a sign of weakness, which he is careful never to show. He also has an incredibly rigid code of honor which he follows with no acceptions. He's loyal to a fault, and once his trust has been gained it is incredibly difficult to lose.
Beliefs (religious stuff, personal convictions, mottos they live by, etc): Fi's people are polytheistic with a system of gods that heavily emphasize strength and honor. Fi devoted himself to the god of glorious battle, Sabaid, and takes part in the festival of feats every year as a fighter in the tournaments. Strong moral codes are heavily emphasized by the gods and each person's code is uniquely tailored to who they are, making them highly personal and incredibly private.
Fi's is pretty simple:

  • No killing an unarmed combatant (Doesn't count if they've been disarmed)
  • No permanent harm done to children
  • No lying
  • No deserting a cause he has pledged himself to
  • No breaking oaths unprevoked

Likes: Horseback riding, sparring, the festival of feats (A week-long battle festival that anyone can take part in and royalty must take part in), rain, the forest, celebrating a victory among his soldiers, the week of sun (A religious festival where the people travel to the few non-rainy corners of the country to pay tribute to their patron gods with a massive hunt), sunrises
Dislikes: Traitors, liars, flattery, having to punish his soldiers, overly practiced or calculated people, any kind of scheming, asking people he doesn't like/trust for help
Appearance: Fi is tall and broad-shouldered, with a well-muscled body and bronze skin. He's ruggedly handsome with strong features and a perpetual scowl, and he almost seems like an ancient statue instead of a human being. His eyes are the same pale green of the rest of his family, setting him apart from the commoners, though they're a good deal more guarded. (Most people have brown eyes, green/grey/blue eyes are seen as a sign from the gods that the person will be important) His hair is black and cropped close to his head for ease in combat, in the typical style. There's a large scar slicing across his back from a sword slice, and a large starburst shaped scar on his hip from an assassination attempt.
Country name: Uisge (Constantly cloudy and thickly forested. Think an obnoxiously humid Ireland with %50 more trees)
Typical outfit: Most days Fi walks around the castle in nothing but a loose-fitting pair of pants that cinch somewhat at the ankle. When he's forced to dress up, he tends towards a pair of black armbands, a collar made of fluffy grey fur that is draped across his shoulders, black harem pants, and a sturdy pair of boots. Everything is lightly embroidered at the edges with silver thread. He wears a leather choker with a single glass teardrop on it, wherever he goes.

(It's fine, I figured out what you meant. Do you wanna stick with being the kidnapped kiddo?)

(Aw thanks! He's a really new baby so I'm trying to break him in. And it's totally cool if you want to stay the kidnapped prince!)

@lavender_ladybug group

(Awe! Same with Levi, he was kinda new, just a vague idea until I fleshed him out a bit more in the bio. And sweet, ty :)When in the story should we start? After or before he’s kidnapped?)

Deleted user

(Hmm… I think we could kind of do either, so maybe a middle ground would be best? Like he's been traveling for a while and we start just as he ends up at the palace.)
