(Thanks for understanding!)
Zyra nodded, her face slowly returning to it's normal color after she had gotten over it. "Yep, just surprised that someone like you kissed me."
(Thanks for understanding!)
Zyra nodded, her face slowly returning to it's normal color after she had gotten over it. "Yep, just surprised that someone like you kissed me."
She was slightly confused.
"Wh- What do you mean? I thanked you, I didn't kiss you?" she asked, her brow furrowing in the cutest, most innocent way possible.
"A kiss is a romantic gesture that… well, I wouldn't actually mind giving you…" she blushed harshly at the thoughts that came crawling out of the part of her brain she didn't know was present in her innocent, pure mind.
"That, what I gave you… was a thank you" she explained, hoping she'd get it.
Zyra furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, nodding after understanding a few moments and looking embarrassed because of the confusion. She blushed furiously when she said she wouldn't mind kissing her romantically, making her stare furiously at the ground as if it was it's fault. "O-Oh, okay then…" She mumbled, a sliver of disappointment in her voice.
She heard every different tone in her voice, her heart absolutely melting when she heard how sad she got. She decided the only thing that she could do was to kiss her again.
Wait, is that what a human would do?
She didn't realize how weird it must be for her.
"I-I…" she flipped through the pages of her mind for an excuse other than plainly saying that 'Oh I'm a witch but not the bad kind and the moment I met you I've sorta been falling in love with you ever since!'? No!
"I-I'm not from around here, I'm sorry if I'm so confusing" she fibbed, looking at the beautiful stranger.
"It's fine, I'm not from around here either," Zyra answered, glancing at the stranger. "Wait!–I don't think I ever got your name…"
"Kamelia" she replied, going in for a hug but realizing that might not be what she thought it was. Instead she went for a handshake.
Much less complicated
Zyra nodded and shook her hand with a firm grip, her bones and burn mark becoming a bit more visible when she shook Kamelia's hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Zyra."
She nodded softly, watching their hands embrace as they greeted each other formally. "Zyra, that's a very beautiful name" she smiled, the pink tint on her cheeks lesser than before but still present.
"Thanks, you also have a nice name." Zyra smiled, her face returning to it's normal color as she smiled, her green contacts starting to itch and annoy her.
"Thank you" she hummed softly, noticing that her eyes were actually contacts. "Hey, if you need to take out your contacts somewhere then we can go to the washroom of something" she suggested, hoping she didn't question how she knew.
How in the hell did she find out? Oh wait, I'm supposed to have brown eyes according to genetics yet I have green eyes, of course she's going to think it's contacts. Zyra shook her head. "Oh, it's fine, they just like to bother me for no reason some times."
"Are you sure?" she asked, looking up at her softly, looking in her eyes to try and see if she was lying. It was a skill she was trying desperately to pick up but it was harder than it seemed
Zyra nodded reassuringly, knowing full well her eyes are going to be blood-shot after she gets home. "Yep!" She ran a hand through her hair, ruffling it a bit afterwards.
She watched her hand move through her hair, watching it shimmer in the sun. This woman was mesmerizing. Everything about her, even her voice.
"Okie" she hummed.
Zyra looked around awkwardly, not sure what to do now. "Soo….what now….?"
She smiled softly, "I have no idea." she replied, chuckling softly. She looked away from her for a moment before spotting a cafe nearby.
"Could I buy you a coffee? It's the least I could do" she hummed politely, looking back up at her.
Zyra became a bit flustered but nodded. "Sure, and it's fine." She smiled at her. "Also, I'm paying."
She blushed softly at her blush, a small smile perking at her lips. "Aw, but I wanted to treat you" she whined playfully, beginning to walk with her to the coffee shop only a block and a half away.
"Too late," Zyra replied with a chuckle, walking with her to the coffee shop with a smile. "You can treat me another time."
She bit her lip, rolling her eyes as she walked along with her, looking up at her to steal an admiring glance. She is so beautiful
Zyra glanced at Kamelia and saw her looking at her, making her instantly look away and become flustered. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
She blushed as well, although not quite able to look away. "Like what?" she asked, trying not to act like she had just been staring at her like their entire life together flashes before her eyes.
Zyra chuckled softly. "Like, I'm your soulmate and all these memories from our past lives are flooding back into your head." She said. "Like, I'm the love of your life, the one that's never going to leave you and show you why life is worth living."
She stopped walking, her breath leaving her lungs empty. "H-How did you…" she couldn't gather her thoughts. "W-what…"
Zyra chuckled, her dimple (yes, just one, they exist) showing. "Darling, I minored in English, and majored in Psychology," she said with a laugh. "Those two are a very dangerous combination when together."
