Penelope giggled a little. "I don't think so." She said as she walked next to Eli.
Penelope giggled a little. "I don't think so." She said as she walked next to Eli.
"Well let's see"
He says with a little laugh, then looking over to Harley who had just punched him in the arm before getting in the backseat.
"You have no faith in me do you!"
Penelope got in the passenger seat and buckled herself in. She closed her eyes trying to remember where she would have left it.
Driving downtown, passing the now-empty pedestal, and quickly driving past it, hoping it would trigger anything.
"So, anywhere you think you left it?"
Elijah asked her giving her a side glance.
Penelope didn't notice the pedestal as she had been looking the other direction. "Umm… Is that hotel by the tiny drug store still there?… Are any of those buildings still there?" She said with a little smile, looking over to Eli.
"Oh, NorthEast of town?"
He says looking to the side, Harley in the back looking out the window quietly
"Downtown? It's the more sketch part of town."
She says quietly
"Oh, yeah."
Penelope nodded. "So it's still sketchy? I guess that place will never get better… but yeah that's my best guess of where it could be." She turned to look out the window. Seeing Elijah's reflection in the window, she smiled.
"Okay, to the sketch part of town we go!"
Elijah says with a smile as he takes a turn into an alley.
After about two minutes, they had entered the "sketch" part of town. Homeless people, thieves, all sorts of people here. It wasn't good. And it was known for that. There was literally a big warning sign reading "go in your own risk" on each road that led here.
"Well…… Waddya thing m lady. Gorgeous isn't it"
Eli says to her jokingly with a little laugh, thinking he was absolutely hilarious.
"Oh, it's stunning." Penelope was trying hard not to laugh, but she failed shortly after her comment. She looked over at Elijah laughing. As they went through the sketchiness, she saw the hotel. "That's the one!" Penelope said, pointing.
Laughing a little bit along with her, though not quite sure what exactly he had been laughing at.
Taking a turn into the hotel parking lot then parking, he looks over to her.
"Are you sure?"
Penelope nodded. "I think so!" She took a breath and unbuckled herself, getting out if the car. She stood by the hood waiting for Elijah and Penelope.
The two getting out of the car and stepping over towards Penelope, Elijah ruffled her hair playfully
"well, lets go then"
He says to her with a big smile. Harley watching out for any sketchy people that might or might not kill them.
"Okay, so I think it is somewhere over there…" Penelope said pointing to an old unused parking garage. She frowned after seeing the condition it was in. It was probably filled with homeless people, trash, rodents, and other various things. She looked up at Eli. "Well… my bike's not that important… it doesn't seem safe in there…"
"Here, ill go in. Harley can stay with you."
He says with a smile, then looking over to Harley.
"Okay okay. Though if you need any help holler. Oh wait."
She says quickly climbing in the back seat, then handing Eli a pistol.
"It's loaded, just cock it and shoot."
She says with a shrug.
"Wait! You hid a gun in my car!?"
He says taking the gun and seeing if it was real.
"Of course! We do stupid dangerous things all the time. Why wouldn't i?"
Penelope looked at Harley with a mix of surprise and confusion. "What have you guys done that you need a gun for?!" She glanced up at Eli, slight worry in the mix of emotions on her face.
"Heh, well until like….last year we were……"
Eli looked back at Harley with a nervous laugh.
"Daredevils. We did whatever we wanted to and wherever. We used to go here all the time."
Harley interrupted him as she leaned on the care with her arms crossed.
"Ah, I see… I've been on this earth long enough to be both of you's grandmother, so I'm just going to say I'm glad you two aren't doing those things anymore…" Penelope took a breath and looked between the both of them. "Sorry, that got a little odd… let's get back to this thing. Eli, I should go with you because I know me and the places that I would hide stuff."
"Oh….."
He was still stuck on the grandmother part, until he stuffed it down.
"Yeah, though someone-"
Eli got interrupted by Harley taking out yet another gun and stepping forward.
"I'lll guard it. Just don't die"
Penelope looked at Harley then walked over to Eli, smiling. "Let's go!!" She was excited to see her bike after so long. She was honestly glad that Eli had a gun, she was also worried about going into the parking garage.
"So what does it look like?"
He says turning to her right before they walked in, Eli opening the door for her once they did walk in. This was the only time he was going to go through the doorway before her, just to check if it's safe.
"If I'm remembering correctly it looks like this. (except not so shiny and new looking lol)" Penelope was glad to be behind Eli, it made her feel very safe. She never liked hiding her bike there, but she didn't want anyone finding it and getting rid of it.
The parking lot was surprisingly huge and vast, though it was near a hotel. Cocking and pointing the gun at anything that happened to move, Eli was definitely alert. And one of the most important things…..
Protect Penelope.
"Okay… so I think it's this way…" Penelope said pointing around a corner. She realized how dangerous that could be. Who knows what's hiding back there. She got a little closer to Elijah, basically stuck to his side.
(Should something happen while they're down there?)
(Yeah probably. No killing or anything maybe just….OH what if someone grabs her from behind and Eli has to find her. Or something like that.
(Ooo that could work!! And yeah no killing and stuff like that at all)
