I had the idea that there's one(1) Decent Family in town and this is their daughter, she pretty much adopted everyone on the farm lmao

Name: Raya Lee Mason
Age: 21
Gender/Pronouns: Female, she/her
Orientation: Lesbian
Appearance: Raya is about 5'10 and has wavy, dark hair, green eyes, and suntanned skin. You know how there are a bajillion Lesbian Aesthetics(TM)? Raya's ginormous closet has outfits for pretty much all of them, and she can pull any one of them off(though when she's working, it's usually something denim and a tee-shirt/tank top).
Personality: Raya tries to be the supportive parent that she wishes these other kids had, but sometimes her ideas aren't exactly the best. Fortunately, she knows how to cover her own and her friends' tracks(thanks, moonshining parents!) should things get… illegal. She can and will fistfight any Karens that come knocking on the door wanting to start shit, and sort of lacks a filter at this point.
Hobbies: Dancing, playing the guitar, singing, watching YouTube, making things with her hands, hunting/fishing, playing video games, reading fanfiction
What they do on the farm: Supplying the booze making jams/jellies/other canned or jarred goods, helps with the garden and horses, tends to the cows, chops wood
Other: Raya came from {insert town name} and is pretty much the Local Lesbian. She was fortunate enough to have supportive parents who even let her transition(her deadname is Evan if y'all want it for ~plot reasons~). The town is still ✨very homophobic✨ towards her and her family, but her parents and uncle kind of make the best moonshine in town, so they don't talk too much shit when they're around. She did 4H before coming out and wishes she could help with the program but knows that any involvement on her end would pretty much kill it. She's got a close circle of online friends and two rabbits named Ravio and Bubblegum and a horse named Bastard.

Orientation: Bisexual. Sort of. Not huge fan of men, but is occasionally attracted to one
Appearance: Short purple fluffy hair, decently pale skin, blue eyes, occasionally donning broken glasses, though they usually wear contacts, generally can be found in boots of some sort, jeans and a flannel or ratty sweatshirt, will sometimes put on makeup but they find it exhausting so they usually pass on it, very small, will probably blow away at the slightest breeze
Personality: Sam has zero chill, strong opinions on things no one should have opinions on (salt shaker belongs on the end of the table closest to the door, they will die on this hill for no particular reason), and a hatred of cleaning. They are low-key a little lazy, but will do anything to avoid feeling rejected or like people don't like them. Knows too much about true crime (pre-existing cases, not contributing to them. But don't test them). Either obnoxiously loud or completely shut down, almost no in-between. They try to act tough but when it comes down to it, they're a wimp
Hobbies: Cooking, baking, making an entire box of instant mac and cheese to see how much they can eat in a single sitting, playing flute, drawing
What they do on the farm: Cooks meals, helps out with the horses and garden when they can

Orientation: bi
Appearance: she has tawny skin that’s marred with freckles and she stands at about 5’5. She’s fairly muscled from doing a lot of heavy lifting but still has a relatively slim build. She has dark brown eyes that are usually wide with excitement, especially when working on a project. She’s taken to impulsively dying her hair at ungodly hours so the color can vary on about a weekly basis at this point but at the moment it’s bleach blonde. Her hair style is also a victim of being changed in the wee hours of the morning but at the moment has a pixie with an undercut. She also has a septum piercing and a few piercings in her ear. Her aesthetic is really all over the place but most of the time it’s just overalls and a big carhart jacket.
Personality: very peppy and loud, she’s always good for a laugh. If there’s anything dark and tortured about her, she certainly doesn’t let anyone know about it. She would most likely be the trouble maker of the group. Basically the funny friend.
Hobbies: she’s always messing around with something, anything to keep her hands busy really. She’s that friend that has a bunch of hidden hobbies.
What they do on the farm: Tyler is the mechanic, she’s managed to fix just about anything that needs it and enjoys tinkering with stuff.
Other: has diagnosed ADHD. She has a ferret named Slink and a balled python named Ziggy

I love her! She is not a stereotype at all, that's honestly how I act half the time. Also, ferrets! Neat! I've always wanted one of those little rats.
