I've been super hyper-fixated on monster-type RPs, so here we go
Brief summary: People in a closed-off town in Ireland have been terrified for weeks. No one has slept well in months. There's been a banshee just wailing. Screaming wildly every night, and no one can tell why. What they do know, however, is that seemingly the most unexpected people keep dropping like flies. Finally, someone gets sick of it and goes into the mountains to find this woman. Much to their surprise, she's beautiful and really sweet. Will they leave? Will they stay? Will she let them choose is the question

Rules are pretty much andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules, no super OP characters, no one-liners please, and I don't usually do this, if you want to join please provide a writing sample. Thank you very much.

Triggers:
Mature Themes
Violence
Suggestive Themes (I'm not comfortable with explicit sexual content, but jokes and such are acceptable)

Name: Morgana Lestat

Age: 27

Gender:
AFAB
She/Her/Her's

Sexuality: Pansexual, male preference

Appearance: Soft, wispy, jet-black hair, kept long (about hip-length) and usually messy. She's a very pale, and to be honest, sickly type of white, with a slight rosy tint on all of her joints, and on her cheeks and nose. She also has a smattering of light freckles. She has a very small and slight build, very slender and thin. She's only 5'3 and she weighs just 121lbs. She wears a lot of preppy, baggy clothes.
Personality: Sweet and caring, but lowkey kind of manipulative. She's a good person with terrible habits. She's also very socially awkward, from living in the woods most of her life. She has a lot of socially unacceptable

Race/Occupation: Banshee. These are almost exclusively female creatures from Irish Mythology.

Background: Morgana has been around for at least 48 years but has only been "sentient", if you will, for about 27, therefore she doesn't count the time she was wandering and accepts herself as 27. When she was around 23, she married a man named Linus Elliot, and they lived happily, until he died at the age of 26, two years into their marriage. She became bored and was alone. She then decided to do the one thing she did well. Be a banshee

Yea! If your interested tell me if you want to post the starter or not, and fill out the sheet and we can get started

@Moriarty

Awesome! I don’t mind to post the starter, but let me know if my sheet is okay first.

Name: Nikola Peter Olve

Age: 31 years

Gender: Male, masculine pronouns

Sexuality: Demi-hetero, biromantic

Appearance: 6’4 and broad shouldered, Nikola is a bear of a man. He’s muscular, but not in a pretty-boy-with-a-six-pack type way, but rather in a hefty-lumberjack-who-looks-like-he-could-lob-a-tree-at-you type of way. He has fair skin, squared and strong facial features, and a prominent Roman-nose. His hair is a light reddish-blond, short but messy and untamed, and he has a very short but well-kept beard to match. His eyes are a dark green, serious and observant. He tends to wear a black t-shirt with a dark red bomber jacket and plain jeans.

Personality: Nikola has a very standoffish personality when you first meet him, not exactly appearing approachable or friendly. But that’s mostly just the persona he has built for his line of work. Once one gets past his initial suspicious and grumpy persona, they’ll find that he’s actually a teddy-bear of a person. Nikola is incredibly outgoing with those he’s close to, and he tends to be a very gentle, good-natured, down to earth person. He’s naturally a bit short-tempered, but he tries very hard to be patient. He’s very protective and defensive of those he cares about.

Race/Occupation: Human. However, his occupation makes him a bit abnormal, as he is something that he likes to call a myth-hunter.

Backstory: When Nikola was a kid, he loved to read stories about monsters, myths, and legends— but he never really believed in any of it until he was older. As a teenager, he and his friends liked to run the woods— and, one boy he was particularly close to went missing one night during their escapade. One moment, he was with the others, laughing at some dumb joke Nikola made, and the next, he was just gone. The others thought it was a prank at first, but after searching for hours, they couldn’t find him. The police were later called, but they couldn’t find him either. The night after, when the police had moved on to search elsewhere, Nikolai found himself unable to sleep and was compelled to go search for him again. He never found his friend, but he did find something he never wanted to see again. A horrible creatures that, to this day, he cannot identify.

After that, Nikola realized that at least some of the beings from myths and legends were real. He began learning about them extensively and trying to learn ways of both discovering them and possibly destroying them, if they were harming human beings. The first things he did were smaller, like exorcising a low tier demon and discovering Sasquatch, but as he delved deeper into the world of paranormal creatures and cryptids, he found that a surprising number of people had seen something that they wanted rid of. Over the next decade, Nikola would gather the resources, weapons, materials, and knowledge needed to discover and fight everything from fairies to the Jersey Devil. He’s semi-famous, and usually he gets hired out by wealthy people having trouble with something abnormal, but are trying not to draw too much attention to themselves. Most normal people don’t know who he is, and whenever someone asks him his job he usually just gives some kind of generic answer to avoid confusion.

Nikola was engaged to a girl when he was in his early twenties, but they called off their engagement after she cheated on him while he was off hunting a chupacabra for a goat farmer in South Texas. He dated a few people off and on but eventually gave up around five or six years ago, deciding that maybe he just isn’t cut out for love.

Nikola’s father is from Russia, but his mother is Scottish; Niko was born in Scotland but was raised in the USA. He travels a lot and likes to learn of local mythology as he visits new cultures. He’s currently on vacation in Ireland after visiting his mother’s family in Scotland, and he is trying to take a break from work for awhile.

(perfect. I got the starter. I'm thinking he first gets the idea of where she goes by following her)

Morgana had been having a blast. She just went through the little town next to the woods she lived in.
Baile would be mad, as they always are, when they awoke to people dead with no cause or reason. Morgana wandered through the town, doing her thing. Her white dress billowed softly in the cold breeze, her thin and pale shins exposed entirely to the damp misty. Her wailing always brought this eerie effect with her. The mist shrouded the town lowly, creeping out of every alley and corner like a thin smoke. She screamed and cried to her heart's content. Her disheveled hair blew in her face, strands sticking to her damp cheeks. She wandered up to a window now and then. The baker, the shoemaker, the widow, and the mother with 3 kids that night. Ooh, how mad the town would be when they woke up to these unaligning deaths. She heard wet, heavy footsteps through the street, and smiled, an eerie giggle echoed through the houses. She stopped screaming and went through alleys and sidestreets. If this person could get close enough to her when she wasn't screaming, he could earn a peek at
An Bhaintreach Fhairsing. She would scream now and then, closer and farther from the man- she had decided that until she spoke to him based on the bearish size of his hulking body- who seemed to be pursuing her. She stopped dead in the middle of a moonlit street, a small clearing in the fog. The man and her were face to face, and she panicked. Close, she hoped for, this close was dangerous. But she didn't want to kill him. The legend would spread from a mystery to a myth. She turned and bolted through the woods, avoiding her direct route home in case she was chased. She couldn't quite hear the stomping footsteps over her own heart and the forest sounds. She stopped dead in front of her chosen river, A' Bhean-Uasal, and stared at the water. If he followed her at first, he was most likely gone now.
