Soulmate AU where writing something on your skin will appear on your soulmate’s.

Character A has fantasized about meeting their soulmate ever since they can remember, doodling on their arms since they could hold a pen, and writing since they learned the alphabet. Character B was much the same but, as time went on, their responses began to dwindle. No matter how hard A tried, B just wouldn't reply. A feared the worst until, after a particularly desperate move, they receive five inked words that absolutely devastated them: "Leave me the FUCK ALONE."
A couple of weeks later, A's friends manage to extract them from their home, hoping to distract them from their grief with a little fun. Little do they know, B's friends had the same idea.
The two unknowingly bump into each other and end up bonding over their mutual anger over the concept of soulmates (A: "Soulmates are fucking stupid." B: "Psh, tell me about it.") The two end up having a lot of fun and get trashed, but the kind that gets you all giggly and flirty and defiant towards everything/everyone except each other. At the end of the night, B scribbles their number on A's arm ("Wonder what your soulmate will think of this,") and they separate to go home with whatever friends they ditched at the beginning of the night.
Except B realizes they're in deep shit when they get home and see the scribbles of their own phone number on their arm.
