Octavius was growing irritated. Here they kept coming to him, to his home and threatening him. Threatening violence, threatening war. He had had enough of it. He would stand their attempt at an uprising any further. He would put them down and they would be punished accordingly. He was going to use them to show the others what happens when you rebel against your king, when you try to overthrow authority. He had enough. And so that's how he ended up on a battlefield. Octavius and his warriors there to crush the rebellion, only they were putting up more of a fight than he was hoping. H was hoping it would be easy, crushing their forces and coming out as the victor, now it was proving that this was going to be a difficult feat.

Arthur wandered the city streets as usual, wondering why in the world he'd bothered to come into town. Looking around he saw that there was some sort of military function going on, Best stay away, the last thing I need is to get drafted into whatever war they're fighting he thought. Arthur wandered through the crowd, making sure his hood was pulled over his messy, reddish brown hair, and that the metal band on his wrist was well hidden in his sleeve.

(Arthur is more of a wandering rogue, he wouldn't have settled down with anyone.
Though…. from what I got in your post someone could mistake him for a soldier and causes a fight or something, If they have magic it might force Arthur to reveal some of his powers…. Idk… I'm winging it here…)

(Lol same. I was just thinking that if Arthur was his mate, he could like, scent him I guess from where he is and just kind of run over, grab him, and like disappear to his palace. But we can do something different)

(hmmm…… I get the feeling your guy would clash with Arthur if her tried to get Arthur to do anything, Arthur is really a softy but he acts tough.
First thing is getting them to meet….)

(With what we've got I have no idea how they'd meet, uhm….
Where would your character normally be or go?
I kinda need some drama rn…. so having them clash at first sight might be cool…)

Well maybe a rebellion protest starts outside the palace….
your guy comes out to deal with it…..
He maybe harasses an innocent bystander that accidentally gets involved? (Possibly my character?)
Fight ensues?
