As Cedric entered the park he felt a calming presence around him. The wind shifted and for once he could feel the cool breeze of the night. Hhm, I wonder what had caused that? The ghost thought, silently looking up at the stars as they filled the night sky. I wonder if those are ghosts up there? If so, I wish I could join them. It was nights like these when he wished he had someone, someone to love and hold him, yet he was all alone. Well, until he head someone speak to him. He looked around, expecting that voice to be addressing someone else, and began to walk once again. No one can see me, so that must be wrong…
Perhaps the man did not speak German. After all, this was Berlin. He gave the appearance of a tourist, if Niklas had ever seen one. "Hello? Sir?" The moon gave the appearance of shining brighter, somehow…outshining the stars. Occasionally, that was how Niklas felt. Outshined by her. Perhaps that was why he found solace in the stars so many years ago. Or perhaps they were just pretty. Who knew? Niklas defogged his mind. None of that had any bearing on the present. Now, he had let curiosity get the best of him and was attempting to speak with an odd man across the park. "Are you okay? You seem quite…" Niklas struggled to find a word. Not because he didn't know English, he had learned that in his childhood. It was because the aura the man gave off was indescribable, almost ghostly. He continued his sentence. "Melancholy. Is everything alright?"
Cedric stopped walking once he heard the other man's voice and silently turned to look around, trying to figure out if he was being addressed. As the ghost glanced around, he soon realized that he was the only one in the park, and that it did seem as though the man was looking at him. So nervously, Cedric approached the man seated on the park bench. "Hello?" He said with a slight wave to the other. "I… I am quite alright, I am simply confused." He said, sitting down, just studying the man. "You can see me? You can see… me?"
