I’m sure it came as a surprise to you to wake up in some weird.. bunker. It’s a big bunker, but it isn’t anything like a maze. Pretty simple layout if you get used to it. It’s got electricity, heating and whatnot. Probably has supplies. You’ve got oxygen. You’re breathing.

And you’re still on Earth.

If I were to pinpoint your location in specifics, you’re also in Antarctica. Very cold, colder than usual. But safe to go out.

Unless it’s storming. I wouldn’t recommend going outside in the snowstorms. Low visibility, you know? And just colder overall. And besides, you don’t know what’s out there. Who’s out there.

Maybe it’s just me, but there’s something weird going on here. As far as I’m aware - you are the only person in this bunker, on this chunk of rock and ice.

But what if there was someone else?

I don’t know. I wouldn’t know.

I suppose we’ll just have to find out, then?
///
So hello! I’m new to this site but I hope to start a RP on here! The basis of this RP is that we have two characters (mine, and whoever joins..) in a bunker, that they can exit and enter if needed. No other people in sight - the two characters don’t know each other, either.

Any attempts of long distance communication prove to be useless. Radios, phones, whatever; none of them work. Something seems to be intercepting that.

Think of this as a mix between sci-fi and some horror themes. We won’t be going into space or seeing any aliens, though. This will also be a MxF; I would prefer to be the male as that’s what I’ve planned my character as already.
Here are the rules.
///

  1. Standard RP rules apply.
  2. Violence is okay, blood is as well.
  3. Swearing is allowed.
  4. Try to have at least two lines in your response.
  5. In the event of smut if it even happens (I like to think of myself as a slow burn person..but this character I’m using might be a bit different) we go to inbox.
  6. This may have some dark themes to it so do keep that in mind but if it gets too ‘dark’ let’s also take it to the inbox and take it back out once it’s over with.
  7. Try to watch your grammar and spelling.
  8. Rules may change if I think of something later, which I might
    ///
So here’s the temp! Please remove brackets when filling out

Name:
Age: (Above 19 at least)
Gender:
Sexuality:
Conditions: (any issues they may have, be it mental or physical. Can put none if you wish)

Appearance: (include anything you’d deem important, such as height, weight, eye colour, whatever. Outfit as well if you want. I’d prefer you describe your character instead of using an image, the least I’ll accept is an image and short description)
Personality:
Background: (doesn’t have to be an essay)
Hobbies/skills: (stuff they’re good at, or not so good at but enjoy doing)
Notes/other: (anything I may have missed or just some fun facts)

Let’s keep in mind the setting here as well, we’re in Antarctica here so if your character is wearing jeans and tshirt then I’m sorry to tell you this..but your character’s probably going to freeze the moment they walk out of the bunker if they don’t find something warm to wear..

Ask any questions you may have!

(Okii. Also, if anything needs to be changed I can do that!)

Name: Aiyana Swan

Nickname(s): Ana, Swan

Age: 21

Gender: female

Sexuality: bi

Birthday: April 21st

Appearance: Dark grey-blue hair that only reaches down to her chin. Her bangs however, are quite long, and reach down to the bottom of her nose. Aiyana has pink-ish eyes, though on the darker end of the pink spectrum. She constantly has a fierce look on her face. She has a oval face, a medium-size nose, and glossy pink-tan lips.

Usual Outfit: Aiyana can usually be found wearing a black knee length dress. This dress is a unique one, though, seeing as the very top of it is decorated with lace that glows red when there is no light. She also wears high knee boots that stop just above her knee, and the tops are a wide "v" shape. These boots are relatively stiff, and could almost pass for combat boots. Aiyana will usually be found carrying around a two and a half foot long sword that looks like this. (I'm sorry, I couldn't figure out how to explain it. I tried to describe nearly everything that I could.)

Personality: Aiyana is just as fierce as she looks, if not even more. She's not afraid of blood, and though she is scared of abandonment, the feeling of worthlessness or insignificance, and of being controlled, she never shows it. In fact, those who know her, have only seen the one emotion she displays: fierceness.

Favorite…

  • Food: Mac and cheese- it's her comfort food

  • Drink: Water

  • Animal: Wolf

  • Color: Black

  • Season: Winter

  • Quote: 「I was prepared, but it still hurt.」

Backstory: Aiyana was a lab experiment. Her biological parents? She has no idea who they were, and was raised by a robot, which tried its best to create Aiyana into the soldier that she was supposed to be. However, when she was 15, she was well-prepared to escape, and performed a successful escape, and managed to trick the scientists that she had died tragically by drowning in a lake. She changed her name (she never had a "legal name," nor did she know about any of that kind of stuff) and integrated herself into society.

(She looks good, just one question; how tall is she? At least when compared to my character)

Name: Kolzak Lukin
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Conditions: It’s a little complicated, but let’s say that he has a literal taste for blood. That he keeps under control, of course.

Appearance: Kolzak is a tall guy at around 6’3 and 215lbs approximately. He’s got this pretty ‘broad’ build to him. Most of his features remain unknown to the general public; he tends to wear what seems to be this ‘armour’ of some sorts, though overtop he wears a charcoal grey jacket and what seems to look like a modification of cargo pants.
From what you can see of his face, is that he’s got pale skin, and when he does show some of his head off, he’s got brown hair, too. His eyes are a pigeon blue, almost with this gentle appearance to them first glance. He wears a helmet and sometimes visor, as well as a lower mask on the face (which seems to be made of a metal, almost, in similar design to the lower jaw of a human skull)
He’s got gloves too, and big boots. The clothing has its advantages, but it tends to be heavy, and while he can run in short bursts, Kolzak prefers not to.

Personality: Kolzak is, first look, pretty gentle. Pretty nice as well. That’s how he treats the ‘blank slates’, people he doesn’t know. Once he has an impression on you, his behaviour will stay somewhat the same, but he’s more likely to be rough if his opinion his south of you.
Despite that, Kolzak remains to have a rare touch of sassiness in his words sometimes.
He doesn’t forgive nor forget easily.

Background: Kolzak was raised rather normally, for someone of his status now. His life did take a turn when he was around 12 years of age, where things obviously went down and Kolzak ended up with a group of people; his mother in that group as well. His mother never really saw Kolzak as her son, but Kolzak always sought to impress her, to make her happy. He always saw her as his mother. A few years later and the group decided to drop Kolzak off somewhere, getting rid of him for good. Kolzak walked a road on his own for a while, still remaining a kind person he was before; at least, for some time. Kolzak ended up learning a few interesting things when he was alone. He made friends, though.
Apparently not good ones as he was left for dead.
He didn’t die, though. He’s alive. Kolzak doesn’t remember what happened to him. He was running down a mountain, blackout, woke up for a brief second and seemed to be in a cave of some sorts. Woke back up at the hospital and realized something was horribly off.
When Kolzak realized that thing, he tore himself away from his friends for their own good, and decided to find a career elsewhere. Something to keep him busy, to direct him.

Hobbies/skills: Kolzak likes to learn and collect things, he can retain information for long periods of time. He’s also good at tracking and persisting. He can aim a gun and shoot without getting scared for the most part. I think that’s it.
Notes/other: He’s sensitive to higher pitches of sound or louder noises for whatever reason. The former tends to provide negative effects on him, however.

(Alright! Any more questions, and should I start or did you want to?)

Wake up.

With a sharp inhale Kolzak woke up, rather suddenly. Though it took him a few second for his eyes to adjust to the lights around him, he recognized that he was in a room of some sorts. The lights were rather bright, though.

He pushed himself up, pulling himself onto his feet and looked around the room. There were beds - bunk beds, plenty of them as well. None of them looked that comfortable, however. Obviously people did sleep here. The question was, were they even here in the first place?

Such questions were not important to Kolzak at this moment, however. His eyes wandered to the metal door in the room, which he approached, looking around it first. He couldn’t see through any cracks in it, as there were none. But he couldn’t hear anyone else besides himself.
Grabbing the handle of the door he pushed forwards. The door was rather loud for a second, as if it had stuck to its spot after some time of not being opened. After a certain point, the door was able to be to be opened without struggle and he walked through, glancing down the hallway.

More doors.

Where was he, exactly? This must be some large building. But where?

Kolzak began to move forwards. He wasn’t going to get any answers by staying in one spot, so the only way he had was to get moving.

Although Aiyana had managed to become a "normal girl," there had always been one thing that set her apart from everyone else. Her sword, which she'd affectionately named Shadow. She cherished her sword, and almost never left it alone.

"Come with me, sweetie," the nearly six foot tall humanoid android said in what was supposed to be a soothing voice. Aiyana couldn't tell whether it was speaking to her, or to the little girl a little distance away from the android. But something seemed off about the whole situation. She recognized the android, and the little girl seemed familiar. Almost as if… she'd been in this situation before. A lightbulb went off in her head. She knew exactly what was about to happen now. She was that little girl. And the android? Oh, she remembered it all too well. It was the very same android that had raised her as a kid. She leapt forward, crying out, "No! Don't hurt her!" But she was too late, and all went black…

"Awaken," a voice commanded in her head. Aiyana startled awake, immediately feeling around for her beloved sword. She blinked several times, her eyes adjusting to the light. Oh, what a nightmare that had been. It seemed that they were coming more and more frequently. Though… it was strange. Before this whole incident, she hadn't had for years. But now? She had woken up in a strange facility, and she was very glad to have her trusty sword by her side. AIyana inched her fingers down the hilt and touched the tip of her middle finger to the shockingly cold metal of the blade. She didn't mind though, it woke her up a bit more, and comforted her to know that it was there.

Aiyana slowly got up from the bed, and looked around the room cautiously. Bunk beds. Rows upon rows of bunk beds, lining the walls. They seemed mass-produced, though, seeing as they weren't of the highest quality. There was a singular door facing her, and she opened it slowly, peeking into the vast hallways outside the room. There was one thing about the door she didn't like, though. It was loud. It also appeared that the door hadn't been used in ages, as it was quite resistant to being opened, which was strange. There seemed that there was no other way in or out except the metal door, but then how did she get in? And if she did get in through the door, then… how long had she been lying there?

She shook her head, not wanting to delve into these questions quite yet. Flinching at the loud noise the door created when it finally swung open with ease, Aiyana peered into the vast hallways. It seemed that no one was there, and even the sound of her own breathing sounded loud to her. Making sure not to drag her sword along the floor, she slowly crept out of the room, and shut the metal door. She leaned against the door, rested the tip of her sword on the ground and wondered, What the hell am I doing here?

Kolzak wandered the hallway, only stopping upon hearing a noise. He wasn’t sure from where in the structure it came from. It sounded similar to the door he had opened earlier, though. And as far as he was aware, he didn’t close that door, nor did he see anyone in the room with him.

His eyes move to a closed door in the hallway as he slows down. Kolzak slides over to it. It opens the same way the door he opened a few minutes ago did. Although again, the door makes that loud screech. He hopes it isn’t the same for all of the doors. He’s begun his search of the hallway. Not looking for anything in specific.

Hopefully answers, though. He observes the room.

Kolzak seems to have arrived in a storage room of some sorts. A small storage room, almost office like in appearance. Boxes on shelves line the walls and in front of him, he sees a desk. He also sees a cabinet, but it’s locked, he realizes once he’s tested it.

Kolzak pulls back and glances around the room some more. His hands pass by what seems to be a computer, but it’s not turning on right now. There’s electricity, isn’t there? Why won’t it turn on?

Kolzak turns around. He’ll come back here later.

He exits out into the hallway again.

Aiyana's eyes hardened as she knew that she had to continue, keep going, to explore this place, whatever it was. No, Rose. You will not find me! she whispered to herself under her breath, remembering the humanoid android who had served as a parental figure when she was younger. She laughed a bit, remembering the nickname that she had given the android when she was a bit older, around 15 or so. The Death Rose. For so it seemed, that all Rose had wanted to do was to work her to death. Once she was old enough, it was just workout after workout, day after day. She was not a soldier. She was not a robot. She refused to be trained from birth to be a soldier. Besides that, Aiyana had no intentions of actually entering a battlefield. She preferred to wage her own wars. Her own wars against Rose, against humanity. This is what they molded her to be. A true soldier, with the best endurance, strategic thinking. The best tactics. But they would regret this later. "You'll see," Aiyana muttered. She picked up her sword, and continued down the vast system of hallways, but not before cringing at how loud her boots sounded against the hard floor.

Kolzak pauses. He recalls the noise he heard earlier, of the door. Of his suspicion about someone else being in this building with him. When he hears the sounds of what seems to be footsteps, Kolzak stops, and realizes that if there really is someone else here, they’re not that far from him. But do they know he’s here too?

Kolzak was never really stealthy. Most people always knew his presence, and their reactions would vary. If they didn’t know, then Kolzak made sure they know. Holding in his breath, Kolzak glanced around. No one in sight; yet.

Kolzak raised his left foot, then pushed it down to the floor. The contact was very loud, and echoed throughout the hallway. He stomped his foot at least two more times before stopping, then waiting.

@saor_illust school

Aiyana froze, narrowing her eyes. Another. Well, she certainly didn't expect to hear another person here, but she would deal with them. Quickly and efficiently. This time, instead of just lifting her right arm just far enough so that the tip of the sword wouldn't drag, she flipped it around so that the sword tip was facing the ceiling. She was reading to battle. Aiyana kept going, but this time she was much, much slower. She made sure that her boots made no sound as she crept through the hallway.

Kolzak stayed in place for a few more seconds, looking around. He didn’t see anyone or anything quite yet, so he decided to keep on moving until he did. He wasn’t making an attempt to stay quiet, either. He never did.

@saor_illust school

Aiyana could hear the other's footsteps echoing throughout the hallway, and reaching a corner, she peeked over the edge, and saw a young male looking to be about the same age as her, with pale skin, and walking towards her. She quickly ducked back behind the wall, and started formulating a plan on how to deal with this person.
