(Sorry about the wait! And thank you, things have again been busy)
Keiryn paused in her singing, almost startled by the girl's reaction. Or lack there of. She Curled her tail around herself as she settled in her spot and tilte dher head, her cropped her near brushing her shoulder as she assessed the girl from her angle. She wouldn't say she was phased by the girl herself, the compliments seemed surface level at best and it wasn't anything she hadn't heard before in her near 300 years of existance but there was something there that Kieryn couldn't quite grasp at that was different. A genuine desire or hope to see the best in any creature. A purity unparralleled that almost made Kieryn sick. She was too good.
The siren lifted her head from her shoulder, a feral grin spreading across her lips, her sharp teeth glinting in the miday sun. "Whats the point if you'll just forget?" She asked coyly. "I don't give my name to humans, or their lovers." She sneered, her smile turning sour as she regarded the girl and her human form. Annoyingly perfect save for the pigment that seemed stuck and the lighter flecks of scarring Keiryn knew all too well.
As much as Keiryn hated human fold, She couldn't find it within herself to turn away from the girl. Perhaps she was truely bored this far into her life. What could one human interaction cost? She knew the price all the too well but Keiryn was feeling brave today. "And you fair maiden? What is a daughter of the water doing on land? Found a human lover?" She asked, dreading to hear the response but it wasn't like she had anything better to do. Plus it distracted her from her hunger. She didn't prey on human girls, finding it ten times more difficult to lure them in and actually kill them than men. She rested her head on her folded arms and arched an eyebrow as the girl suddenly stood. "I typically don't stray far from human meat." She warned, eys glinting with mischeif, wonder just how truely innocent the girl was. It excited Keiryn to think that such a purity in the world would entertain such gruesome thoughts. Alas, not yet it seemed. The siren uncoiled her tail and swished it in the water, disturbing the sand underneath her. "I suppose it'll due for now."
