Alice in Wonderland? Well, that's not quite right, but at age eight he did find himself getting dragged down a gaping black hole and into what he could only describe as a nightmare.
That had been roughly nine years ago. Nine long torturous years. It was a miracle he hadn't lost his mind down in the city of Theosophus— a place infamous for housing beings of all horror types. Some more humanoid than others.
Still, it was no place for a child and how he had survived for the first few years was beyond him. He had no recollection of his younger years or even the moments leading up to the event that put him in Theosophus in the first place. It was all a muddled mess in his brain, shoved to the side in favor of concentrating on keeping himself alive for as long as he could.
It was a strange arrangement, he had soon found out - the one between Theosophus and the world above.
Fearful wasn't a word he would use lightly to describe the beings down in the city, but there did seem to be some hesitance to breach that line— or in this case, door, that led to the outside. Maybe what some would even describe as freedom.
Theosophus seemed to pay it no mind even though if they very well wished they could easily overpower the force outside and claim more space for themselves.
Anything (anyone) he asked around didn't bother answering his questions and those who did gave him what he could only assume were perplexed looks. The outside? Why would any of them want to go out there?
Maybe it was the curiosity in his human blood that wanted more - answers to the questions that drove him mad at night.
Theosophus might have thought him different for wanting to explore the outside, but none of them attempted to stop him, some silently following him through the first two doors before they loomed at a distance. Thinking: Will he be back?
Shut up. No one bring up the fact that I made a rp like two months ago and never even posted the starter to it- I'm uh,, , working on it, alright?

New one! Cause another friend wanted to write out something else with me. This one features someone from the second generation of Apotheosis instead of Tamryn (who was the main guy in my last rp with Em, and who I most definitely scrapped for parts. :])
This plotline is your classic "human who's been around nonhumans for too long meets humans and struggles to understand literally anything they do or say or have"
And yeah, the underground city Theosophus is of my own making, probably not the first and certainly not the last but I absolutely love the idea of an underground city housing eldritch-like beings (that were once failed experiments) but while they're terrifying to behold and would send anyone into cardiac arrest, they mostly keep to themselves and even seem timid in a sense.
However, don't let that deceive you… they're very capable of defending themselves if you disturb their residence. There is a zero-tolerance policy for humans, no exceptions made.

Well uhhh, maybe one exception… or two…- who cares! No humans allowed.
This'll probably be more lighthearted than the usual dark heavy plots I make, but if you know anything about me I will most certainly take it there if given the chance.
So with that, a brief trigger warning. Of any and all kind. Just proceed with caution alright? Anything of the sexual kind will be taken to dms but if I'm being honest, that probably won't happen at all since my guy is on the ace spectrum. So a trigger warning more so for heavy gore descriptions.
