Faybian didn't know how long he had stayed sitting at the base of the tree by moonlight, minutes, hours, maybe it had only been a few seconds but it felt like eternty. Hypnotized by his own fantasy and feeling as if he wouldn't get another chance like this for a very long time, Faybian stayed put. He thought back again the eclipse and tried to recall the feeling of his strong heartbeat. it was subdued now, a faint thump if he put his hand to his chest, a fraction of the exhilerating speed a few moments ago but still there. Perhaps that all it had been, a side effect of getting too close to the eclipse. Maybe all demons felt some sort of pull and ignored it, or maybe it was his own personal situation, having had the potential to be an angel. Or maybe it was just coincidental. Whatever may be the case, Faybian was reluctant to return back to Hell until he solved this heart problem of his.
With a resolve to remain on Earth a bit longer, Faybian made a quick demon circle with sticks and sat in the middle, closs legged and concentrated on the silence around him, trying his best to block out his emotions as he began his ritual. Splitting his own resonance in two. Often times he did this when long stretches of time on earth were necessary so as to not scare his clients or get himself in too much trouble though Faybian wanted to argue that was half the fun of his job. He focused of his more human side, though little left and tapped into that small shred of morality and emotion, locking it to his physical being and releasing the more unsavory side to his other half. When he opened his eyes, mirroring his position was a figure, as horrifying as a nightmare but entirely faybian. It had taken his demon traints, his horns, his sickly skin, his gangly, all to skinny humanoid form, and rising above them, his mangled wings. It blinked at faybian, violet eyes brightening with recognition. Faybian rmovied to kneel by his double'ss ide and softly spoke a chain of commands into its ear. To remain in hell, to do as ordered when ordered by the lords, to make deals, and to not interfere with him in the human realm. Along with a few more rules just to keep both of himselves covered, Faybian helped the creature to its feet, ordered it to find Asmodeus, and sent it on its way, not leaving until it had passed through one of hells portals and past the gates.
Faybian collapsed into his apartment bed the moment he shut the door, the ritual as well as remaining human for so long draining him every time. As much as he wished to finally fall into a dreamless sleep, faybian knew better than to rely on the darkness for peace. There was a tug on his conscious just as he was falling asleep, and then a sharp convulsion of cold swept over his body. He sat up straight in bed and looked around, expecting something to be in the darkness of his empty flat. "That was not permission to get closer to me." Faybian muttered, yanking the covers from the bed and wrapped it around his body, reveling in the warmth after the sudden cold and headed outside to his balcony, abandoning the idea of sleeping tonight.
