She laughed a bit and looked around them. The class started to move again. She, once again quickly pulled him along with her. They soon arrived at the gift shops. They sold from jewelry to sunglasses, to stuffed animals, rocks, and a ton more weird unique things. Luckily, Azelea brought a TON of money. Though she was smart enough to not spend it all here.
Oliver looked around the gift shops. Nothing had interested him since this was one of the tourist trap gift shops. He still stayed with Azelea and joked around with some of the unique types of gift shop items.
Azelea found a mask type thing made of wood and quickly strapped it to Olivers face before he had time to react. SHe backed away with a little laugh. "you look Nacho Libre!" She says laughing, pushing braids of hair out of her face. It was actually pretty fun to have someone to hang out during all of this. ANd Oliver was pretty fun to.
Oliver laughed slightly before quickly taking the mask off. He smiled at Azelea shyly and handed it back to her. He was so glad to have met someone this fun just in the beginning, and they still had all summer left, who knows what could happen.
"I'm guessing you don't like it huh?" She says leaning against the wall next to him, crossing her arms after putting the mask back.
"Do you want anything? I could buy you something?" She says with a smile, looking around the shop.
She didn't usually do that though, so she didn't know if it was weird or not to do something like that. But she wasnt going to care.
"It's not my favorite, yeah." Oliver smiled at her offer but he shook his head. "Thank you for the offer, but nothing here is interesting me. Maybe somewhere else?" He looked behind him and saw the classes starting to head out, plastic bags in their hands. "Should we start heading out with the class?"
"ugh, how lame" She tilts her head back with a sigh, then she pushed herself up off of the wall and walked out of the store, punching him on the arm playfully how she always does. "Im hoping to get a knife of sorts. Any weapon really. Anyway, lets go then"
Oliver nodded as they walked out with the class. "I mean, it's probably not that hard to find something of that sort…" He smiled and looked around, absentmindedly following the class.
"well yeah…that's true but, the problem is getting it through the airports. Though somehow I did manage to sneak a few knives. BUt I'm really aiming for a gun" She says with a little laugh. "Hey, do you get it. aiming for a gun." She says turning to him and punching him in the arm.
Oliver smiled and started laughing a bit. "Yeah, I got it the instant you said it!" He was a sucker for 'bad' jokes like that, he was definitely going to be that dad. "But how did you manage that? They stopped me once because I had colored pencils next to my Nintendo DS…"
"Finally! Nobody gets my jokes! And nobody has ever been interested in my ways. Though its a secret" She winked at him then laughed a little bit before looking up to the sky. They said it was supposed to rain today. Hopefully, that was the case. Azelea couldn't wait to stand in the rain. Cherish it every moment she did.
A little droplet fell onto her cheek, a small smile appearing on her face as she felt that.
Oliver smiled, winking back almost out of habit. He also felt as a few more drops of rain fell. He sighed, yes, he liked rain but he wasn't a fan of being in it.
"Hey, look up there! You can see the moon!" She pointed up to the clouds with a light smile. She looked back at him, lowered her hand and putting it in her pocket. A dark cloud covered the faint picture of the moon and droplets started coming down.
A shiver went down her spine as a cool wind swept over the huge bundle of people.
She felt like running away as she did back home. Running away to the middle of nowhere.
Oliver looked to where Azelea pointed. He saw the moon as well, smiling. "That's always cool. I like the moon, it's so beautiful…" He said with a smaller voice and a satisfied sigh at the end. He saw Azelea's shiver and he looked around for something to hide under from the rain. He saw the overhang of a roof and he looped his arm through her's and he ran under the overhang.
She was suddenly jolted to the side by her arm, interrupted her thoughts. She looked at Oliver and laughed. "Hey! What was that for!?" She says through a big smile.
"You looked cold and it started raining so I found some shelter so you aren't wet and cold," Oliver explained through a smile, mimicking Azelea's. "This was the closest thing I could find though."
"Offt, you're funny. Not even your jacket?" She says playfully, punching his arm. "Anyway, i love the rain." She ruffled her hair
Oliver laughed a little. "Well, my jacket is super light. But I like the rain as well, it's really calming. I just don't like to be in it much."
"Oh so you're one of those types of people huh?" She asks him elbowing him in the side slightly. She was always really physical with people she preferred over others.
"Ha, yeah I suppose I am," Oliver said with a small nod. He winced slightly at Azelea's elbow. He was fine with most things, but an elbow to the side was not his favorite. He seemed to maybe have sensitive sides.
She saw his wince, her smile disappearing. She knew she was really physical but she didn't like it when she hurt anyone.
"Sorry… I won't do that anymore if you'd like"
"Oh, it's okay. Don't worry about it." Oliver said a small smile on his face. He looked out at the now drenched street, not noticing that their class was out of sight. They had left to go back to the hotel since it started raining and it was getting a bit late.
"I won't so it's fine" she steps out into the rain a little, looking up to the sky with a soft smile. "You sure you don't wanna come?"
Oliver bit his bottom lip slightly as he thought for a moment. "Eh, why not, it just a little rain." He pulled his hood over his curls and stepped out into the rain. He held out his hand to feel the rain fall onto it.
"You don't have to," she says with a little laugh.
(Sorry it's short I'm a Lil tired)
