Hey guys!! I’m back with the Killjoys and the romance!! So, I have a character that I’d really like to work with, so if you’re interested in post apocalyptic settings and romance please join!!

incoherent screaming Yay! Sorry, I just wanted to be sure lol- so, do you know the setting of who the Killjoys are and such, or would you like me to explain it for you? We won’t have to worry much about the details of it though, as it’ll be about our characters-

Of course!! So, pretty much, the Killjoys are this group of rebels. The story takes place after world war three in America, and the land is pretty much a wasteland, and the population is low. There is a company called BL/ind that want to crush creativity and basically have everyone under their control, and that’s where the Killjoys come in. The Killjoys were created by My Chemical Romance and are featured in their album Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys if you are at all interested in listening to it ((Lol it’s my jam))! And yeah- I think that’s the basic scheme- does that make sense??

Makes sense lol. I listen to MCR but haven't heard that song. I'll listen to it though.

I highly recommend Na Na Na and Sing- the video for Na Na Na will give you an idea of the setting, if you care to watch it lol ^^ and alrighty!! Oh, I also forgot to mention that character wise, the characters have almost “codename “ like names, like Party Poison, Overdrive, Ammunition, Painless Glory, and stuff like that- I just thought I should let you know in advance ^^

I've heard both of those songs actually, I know the lyrics by heart lol (I misread your previous response and thought the album title was a song)
The code names should be fine. Should I make a new character for this?

Oh sweet fam!! Sing is actually my favorite song by them- makes me cry every time lol xD! And don’t worry about it!! I do stuff like that all the time!! Alrighty then! And you can do whatever you’d like for it- I really don’t have a preference ^^ before we make our characters though, do you have a particular romance that you’d want it to be? Like girl/girl, boy/boy, or girl/boy?

Usually I have a preference for boy/boy or girl/girl, though I'm not completely opposed to girl/boy. I just have a surplus of LGBT+ characters and I've got more experience with RPing with those characters.

yeah that would make the most sense lol. I might use a character whose sexuality isn't defined (she's from one of my books where her sexuality isn't relevant, so I just make it whatever I want in RPs)

Usual Outfit: A close fitting, tan t shirt with a logo of two crossed axes on it, several wristbands, black jean shorts over black leggings, combat boots, a silver ivy looking earring on her right ear, several small piercings on the left, wears two axes strapped to her back, and a knife at her side
Backstory: Lance lost her family when she was pretty young, so she was raised mainly by her brother, Gunpowder. When he was shot by a Draculoid, she was left with no one but herself. She’s very lonely, and suffered through depression. All she really wants to do is get revenge for the family she lost.

Appearance/Looks: short, pale skin, curvy with an hourglass shape but hides it under oversized hoodies, her face is perfect and smooth save for the jagged scar that goes from the arch of her right eyebrow to the corner of her jaw and narrowly misses her right eye, gray-green eyes,wavy strawberry blonde hair that falls down to her hips but it's usually unbrushed and held up in a messy ponytail

Backstory: hhhhhh can I think of one later? canonically her backstory revolves around magic but there's not magic in this
