I’m interested!
Rad! Got anything you want included in the rp?
Hmm like plot wise?
Yup! I'm pretty much open to anything you wanna do (bc I have no ideas of my own) but if you don't have anything I can find some cute prompts.
Ok!
Oooh I have a deaf character so what if they meet in a bookstore or something and one of them buys the book they were reading for them and they have to figure out how to communicate and romance/fluff ensues??
Oh! that sounds really great!! I'm going to use my emotionally stunted and constantly stressed baby, so finding a new way to communicate could be really fun and interesting!
btw, want me to post a template?
Awesome!! And yes please!
pretty basic, but it should do the trick

here's my baby girl
Name: Althea Govitch
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi
Appearance: Tall and graceful with excellent posture and an intimidating stare. Her hair is wavy and jet black, always twisted back into a tight french braid to keep it safely out of her cold hazel eyes. Has tawny brown skin crisscrossed by the occasional scar, the most visible of which cuts from her left eyebrow to her lower lip. She's obviously muscled with strong shoulders and arms.
Personality: Calm, cool, and collected with an eye for detail and a quick mind; Althea is a strategist and a damn good one at that. She takes time to weigh the decisions she makes, taking into account everything she can to ensure the best outcome. This, of course, means that she is prone to agonizing over easy decisions and taking too long to make choices in the heat of the moment. She wastes nothing in word or deed, which has led to underdeveloped interpersonal skills and a lacking understanding of emotion (Which is only exacerbated by her desire to force everything into neat logical boxes)
Likes: Puzzles, history, having a plan, knowing what people expect of her, crowded cities/ crowds in general, people watching
Dislikes: Dealing with emotions, that point in the plan when you have to start improvising, loud/overly energetic people, waisting time, the army
Other: Is pretty distant from her family and has few friends
Aww! I love her
Here’s my baby
Name: Trinity Abney
Age: 18
Gender: female
Sexuality: pan
Appearance: Short and incredibly skinny, underweight actually, which is an insecurity for her—more than being deaf. She likes to keep her hair long, about to the middle of her back in bright blonde waves. She dyed her hair a blue balayage to emulate the ocean. Being very happy-go-lucky, she definitely dresses the part with pastel jackets and mostly leggings, mainly for the reason that they’re both comfortable and fashionable. At home she typically wears lounge sweatshirts and shorts
Personality: Bright and bubbly, she signs a bit too quickly for comprehension when she’s excited, very extroverted and enjoys interacting with people, loves making friends. But with how happy she gets, she often gets just as deeply sad about family matters, oceans, and other various happenings in her life
Likes: ocean biology, her dog and cat, bright rooms, really loud music in her headphones (to feel the vibrations of the music), vanilla flavored anything
Dislikes: her roommate, being alone for too long, when people ignore her or don’t try to understand what she’s saying, anything strawberry flavored, the fruit is fine, talking about politics
Other: ENFP, She was born deaf
Aww, she's so cute!
want me to post the starter?
Yes please!
I'll get right on it! gimme a sec.
Althea rolled her shoulders, checking her watch and realizing she should probably pack up her stuff and get home. She'd been happily reading the new arrivals in the history section since she'd gotten off work, and it was almost 8 now. With one last sad glance at the book she'd been reading, In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, she stood and began to gather her things.
Trinity stood at the end of the aisle, holding a book about various Caribbean she was planning to buy close to her chest while she watched a woman stand up from reading a history book. She frowned as it looked like she would leave the book behind. Without thinking, Trinity rushed forward and rested a hand on the girl’s book before she could put it back.
Althea felt someone grab her book and turned around with a frown. "What's your problem?" she spat, giving the girl an unimpressed once over. Who was this twig of a girl, and what the hell was she trying to do?
Trinity blinked, clearly taken aback by the girl’s offenses look on her face, “I…I…” she pursed her lips, “I want to buy the book.” She spoke with a unique type of lisp, making her words almost incomprehensible and slow, almost as if she struggled to form each word.
Althea's frown deepened into a grimace when she managed to decipher what the girl was saying. "So you decided to snatch it out of my hands? What kind of an asshole move is that!?" She was being a bit unfair, but Althea's temper had been pushed all day and she was itching to let out all her bottled up anger.
Trinity’s expression morphed into pure confusion, unsure of what she was exactly saying but she knew it was some sort of anger. Despite not knowing what she said, it still hurt, so she glanced away both in shame and thought. How could she get across that she wanted to buy the book for her? She stuffed her hands in her jacket pockets and bit her bottom lip.
"Answer me!" Althea demanded, a little put off by the way the girl had backed down but still unwilling to stop her angry tirade. She stepped into the girl's space and forced her to maintain eye contact. "Don't you have anything to stay for yourself? An apology!? An explanation!?"
Trinity didn’t respond, stubbornly pursing her lips and refusing to speak. It was hard enough to talk let alone try to communicate in the middle of conflict. She shoved her away to shuffle through her wallet and find a twenty dollar bill, her fingers and breath quivering.
Althea stared at the bill with a confused glare, looking from the girl to the money several times before morphing her face into a confused frown. Was this a peace offering? A gift? Something to make Althea shut up and go away? "What is this?"
Trinity pressed the money against the book’s cover, “Buy the book,” she managed, “Please,” which sounded more like “plis.” She took a single step back.
Althea blinked at the girl a few times before hesitantly grabbing it in a sweaty palm. She opened and closed her mouth, trying to find out what she was supposed to say. What finally came out was a small, strangled "Why?"
