"Well….i guess that would be a better idea than sneaking into peoples sheds it sleeping in a tree at night."
He says with a light smile, his eyes not leaving hers.
"Well….i guess that would be a better idea than sneaking into peoples sheds it sleeping in a tree at night."
He says with a light smile, his eyes not leaving hers.
She bit the inside of her cheek and chuckled, "That's for damn sure."
Sitting up on the sand, looking down at his still wet hands, smiling and running his hands through his hair as he stood up, now looking down at her.
"Okay, lead the way"
He said holding a hand out to her.
"Heh, alright then." She smirked at him and grabbed his hand. She then started to sprint, full speed, hoping he could keep up. (She's not actually that fast lol)
(Haha cute)
Surprised, he sprints after her, laughing a little bit by how fast she thought she was.
"I think…you may be…a little…. too fast."
He says running backward but right beside her with a smile.
She gasped, "HEY! How did you get ahead?!" Furious, she tried running faster, but to no avail. Pouting, she grumbled, "what a meanie-"
Stopping and looking back at her, ruffling her red hair, he laughed a little bit as he stood in front if her, totally forgetting that she was wearing his shirt.
so that's why the wind felt so cold
He thought to himself as he kooked at her.
"Guess i am!"
He says leaning close, but not any less than half a foot.
She approached him, closing the small distance between them. She stood on her tiptoes and tried to ruffle his hair too.
Bending down a bit with a laugh, so she could,
"Soft?"
He asked her still looking down at her.
Her eyes sparkled when he bent down for her. "Mhm!" She closed her eyes and nodded, now petting his hair rather than ruffling it
Smiling a little bit, finding it rather funny that she's petting his hair.
"Okay, let's go"
He says standing straight
"Er, right." She grabbed his arm with her metal hand and dragged him into a nearby building that looked old and abandoned.
Her metal hand was cold compared to her normal skin, which he wasn't surprised, it was metal. He was completely and utterly fascinated with it though.
"You gotta extra bed?"
She laughed nervously. "Not really," she pointed to the corner of the room. There was a king-sized mattress that was surprisingly in good condition. "But the bed is large enough to hold both of us."
"Plus it gets really cold at night…" she muttered to herself, unaware that he could hear her
"Oh…okay"
He said with his face a little red, looking around.
She laughed at his redness. "So, uh. Are you even tired?"
"Yeah, a little, but i don't think I'm gonna be able to fall asleep just yet. You?"
He asks laying down on the bed, trying to tell if it was comfortable or not.
She sat down on the bed and sighed, "Not really. It's been hard to sleep lately."
She looked over at him. "You want your shirt back?"
"Well, depends, are you still cold?"
He asked her putting his arms up, his head resting on his hands as he said there. It was wet so he didn't particularly want to wear it to bed, along with the pants, but what can you do.
She shrugged. "I'm always cold,"
Deciding to lay down next to him, she asked, "So, what made you work for that girl?" There was a hint of jealousy in her voice, but she tried to cover it up
"Okay, keep it then. It's cute anyway"
He said, mumbling the last part to himself. Looking back up at her, surprised she was laying with him,
"I had nowhere to go, so she took me in. And just so you know, she may look young, but she's like 57, so don't be fooled."
He says looking back at the run down ceiling.
"Ah, that's good," she sighed, content with that answer. There was silence. Leandra always felt awkward during silent moments, so she broke it with a personal question.
"Is there anything I should know about you?"
"I'm gay"
He says holding in a mischevious smile. He was just wondering how she would act. He wasn't, hence why he was flirting with her in the first place, but…just for kicks and giggles.
"Other than that, i might need some dry clothes…."
Her jaw dropped. "A-ah. Really? Haha, that's, uh. That's pretty cool." She was a little hurt, and it showed, but she masked it with laughter.
"And yeah don't worry. I have plenty." She stood up and ran over to another side of the room that had a small dresser. She rummaged through it, trying to keep her mind busy.
"I'm kidding, women are to hot for me to not be attracted to them. Anyway, thank you for the clothes, although are you sure their big enough? I'm a big guy"
He says sitting up in the bed.
