(Eeeeee I'm sorry It took so long)

Drumming his fingers on the keys, he listened to the click sound they made without actually pressing on them. "Think Ian!" He groaned, deleting the text he had left behind on the screen. Though he was interrupted by the sound of shuffling in the room. 'What is she doing?' He asked himself in a slight panic. Clicking open one of his previous windows, his eyes traced over her moves carefully. "What in the world…" He said softly under his breath.

Why was she packing? That couldn't be a good sign. She couldn't just get up an leave, or go on vacation. Nothing had been planned, so clearly this was something else. Whatever it was, he didn't like it. No good thing could come out of this on his part. She was clearly happy about whatever this was about. In the moments he had been fiddling around with the keyboard, he hadn't seen her check her phone. So the thought of checking her phone wasn't even in his first ten ideas. "She needs to stop."

(It's okayyyyyy I'm really spotty with replies toooooo)

"Wow," Meredith said aloud to herself, after settling down on the bed. "A NSA agent, living in an apartment, even though she's a NSA agent. Who would've expected that?" She sighed, looking off into the distance. "Well," she broke the silence that had followed, adding, "At least I'll be getting a nicer house. And I won't even have to pay rent. How nice!"

She was startled by the beep of the water heater, and got up abruptly, pouring the hot water over the dehydrated ramen noodles in a bowl she'd prepared in advance.

(Lol, don't worry about it :3)(And I'm sorry this is shorter, my brain isn't with me right now.)

"No… no, no, no!" He groaned out running a hand through his hair multiple times. "She can't move to an apartment, she can't leave this house!" Ian muttered, pushing out of the desk. He couldn't let her leave the house.

But what could he do? There wasn't much of anything he could, everything turned into a dumb idea. "What do I do!?" He moaned out, looking around his computer to find a solution to his problem.

(okay thanks, and that's okay)

The new house that her superiors wanted her to move to wasn't secured. It didn't have extra security. Mostly just extra niceties to make up for any inconveniences that moving might cause Meredith. See- they only wanted her closer to them, in case something unexpected happened to some very important files on her computer. They didn't want to have to travel all the way over to her current apartment just to check out something.

Meredith hummed softly to herself as she moved around the room, smiling to herself. She settled herself back down into the chair, and began to write that important email, finally.

"And now she's working on the email again… great." The man whined rubbing his tired eyes in annoyance. How could everything he had worked on, go so horribly wrong in one night? Everything was crashing, and burning incredibly quickly. "Let's figure out where she's going to move to first, then we'll deal with the email." He muttered to himself, opening a tab on a different computer.

Scrolling through messages, it took him only a couple of seconds to find what he was looking for. Typing in the address on a map system, he waited for it to load turning to face the computer with the email. Thank goodness, she was still typing.

A couple minutes later, Meredith had successfully finished the email. Was it a bit lengthy? Yes, but she thought it was pretty good the way it was. Clicking the send button and feeling very proud of herself, she leaned back in her chair and stretched, yawning. A cold breeze passed over her, and Meredith sat up straight again, shivering. She had suddenly gotten the feeling that someone was watching her, though she couldn't tell who. She looked around nervously, and got up to retrieve a coat to warm her body up.

(nonono, it's totally fine, i promise. now i feel bad for all those rps that im in but somehow the whole window i had up where i was gonna eventually respond to them… maybe… or not… disappeared so now i can't?? eek but you're fine. i understand)

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

(Really, thank you so much. I finally got an idea last night, otherwise this would have been up sooner. I'm still sorry about the random disappearance on this.)

Weeks had passed by this point, and Meredith had successfully moved to her new location. And of course, Ian had managed to already hack the system. It hadn't been too difficult, if he was being honest, but that was a rare thing. With the life he chose to live, honesty wasn't an important quality.
"Alright, what's on today's schedule, huh?" He asked in a low murmur, starting to set up his computer system. "Any important meetings? Or something that would just be awful if I heard?" The sarcasm in his tone was so dry, and sharp, if it was an object he could probably kill someone with it. He wasn't one for jokes, so if one came out it was unintentional.

(I apologize it's shorter, but I was trying to get my basic idea up before I lost it.)

Meredith was going about her usual day, although today she noticed something off. She couldn't quite tell yet, but she knew something was different. She had a gut feeling that it had been different, for quite awhile, actually, but for some reason she was only now noticing it. Maybe it was because she was feeling good today. Maybe it was because she felt like she could do anything, and was noticing details she didn't usually notice.

It was about 1 in the afternoon when Meredith finally noticed what was off. There was a cursor on her computer screen, and she didn't know where it was coming from. Well, to be more specific, there were two cursors on the screen, which she didn't think was supposed to happen. There must be someone accessing her computer from elsewhere, she thought.
