Rykah gave him a small smile, glad that he didnt have to try and fly the whole way.

Meanwhile the two men carrying the net began to deattach it from their harnesses one at a time. The unattached Flyers flew up below the ones that were attached their feathertips brushing against each other as they flew above the boys heads.

Will moved closer to Rykah, and said, “I’m going to go to sleep for a while. Wake me up if you need me.” And then he added a quiet, “Love you.” Out of instinct.

Rykah nodded, watching as the men finished the switch quietly and quickly. "Night Will" he said attempting to relax a little, knowing his weight was putting more strain on the already tiring Flyers.

(Yeah)
They had been flying most of the day and the sun was now setting as dark clouds rolled in.

"You good?" Asked rykah quietly his eyes locked on the dark clouds, his face clouded with worry.

Deleted user

"Yeah." Said Rykah, "but I'm worried about those clouds." He pointed to the oncoming clouds which very clearly looked like rain clouds.
(Imagine how hard it is to fly when your feathers are sopping wet and you're already exhausted from flying all day? I am sooo evil!!)

"Those clouds arent good " said Rykah, fearfully positive on what they were, "and I really hope they dont get any closer…"

"I really hope you're right" said one of the men revealing that even they were nervous.

Rykah watched the clouds nervously as they flew beneath some darker ones that had crept up in front of them without anyone's noticing.

Suddenly rykah froze, his heart thumping as a drop of water hit his nose. His ears immediately flattening at the sight of the water droplet on his nose. The two men that werent flying the net immediately whipped out shields overthemselves and their friends who were flying the net. Each one immediately feeling the strain.

Then it began to pour. Not drizzle. Or sprinkle. Or even just plain rain. It poured. Like sheets of water came falling out of the clouds. Soaking everything in its path. Rykah blanched as the smell of rain hit him. "Now would be a good time for me to know hiw to do a rain shield…" he said quietly.
