Rykah watched him, sitting down in the middle of the room, his tail flicking playfully.
Rykah watched him, sitting down in the middle of the room, his tail flicking playfully.
Will flipped through the notebook, occasionally laughing. “Knew I still had this.”
"What is it?" asked Rykah, scooting over to lean on Will's leg.
“My brother, sister, and I used to pass this journal back and forth. Even when they weren’t talking, they would leave messages for each other in here.”
"That's sweet" said Rykah, his wing subtly wrapping around Will's leg, his tail resting on Will's foot.
“Yeah. It was.” Will stood up and crossed to room for a second, slipping the book under his door and out into the hallway.
Rykah pouted a little when Will moved again, but rolled his eyes knowing Will wouldn't stay still all day.
As Will at back down, you could hear a door open, footsteps come down the hall, pause in front of Will’s door, and then leave again. Will smiled.
Rykah looked up at him curiously, but didn't say anything.
“Jack took the journal.” Will said, still smiling.
Rykah leaned into Will's leg again, not wanting to move too much, unless he could have Will hug him, which was all he wanted right now.
Will sunk down, putting an arm around Rykah.
Rykah practically melted into him, a wing subconsciously wrapping around the other boy happily.
Will closed his eyes for a second, enjoying it. After a while, he heard a knock on his door. Anna poked her head in, and said, “I’m leaving.” And as she left, you could see the notebook in her hand.
Rykah raised an eyebrow, half-hating the fact that people kept interrupting his bliss, but said nothing other than melting further on top of Will,
Will laid his head on Rykah’s shoulder, closing his eyes again. “Love you, Ry.”
"Love you more…" said Rykah softly, enjoying every bit.
Will began to argue as usual, but was caught off by a yawn.
Rykah couldn't help giggling, as he moved to scoop Will up bridal style and flop him in bed.
As Will landed on the bed, he yawned again. “Ima take a nap, ‘Kay?”
"Why can't you be like this in the mornings?" asked Rykah giggling as he flopped on top of will, his head resting on the other's chest.
“Cause there isn’t any drama at 8 o’clock here to make me tired.”
"You also get up too early" said Rykah, wrapping his arms around Will, his hands resting under Will's back.
“Sorry, Ry.” Will mumbled, falling asleep.
Rykah didn't answer, enjoying the warmth of Will's body as he lay on top of the other boy.
