Alright, let’s get this thing started back up!
YAY! Grab the last post from the old one first tho!
The last page of dialogue and stuff:
"Perhaps," Septima murmured, "It's honestly a little scary, but I know he hates using it, so I mean, I wouldn't worry about him being 'evil' or anything like that."
"A dark element isn't necessarily evil, to be really technical my aura is technically a dark element."
"Things are much simpler where we're from, and sometimes they do jump to conclusions on one's character based on their powers," Septima said, "I only say that because of prior experience."
Arthur shrugged, "Well in my case I either get, wonder, or absolute confusion, so…." he shrugged.
"Well, as an outsider, I might be pretty frightened seeing a plant wither away at a boy's touch, but… I think things should stay as wonder and confusion as much as possible- never fear and hatred. He usually tries to hide that side of him, favoring more illusions and shadow manipulation," Septima said.
Arthur nodded "I can relate, I usually stick to illusions and aura manipulation, and avoid some of the other things I'm capable of"
"I don't blame either of you," Septima sighed, "Hey, should we just do a quick check on Skye?"
Arthur shrugged, "He'll be out in the streets by now, I don't think he'll be getting into trouble."
"Yeah, but it'd still be nice to check in, just to be sure," Septima said.
Skye, did everything go smoothly?
Yep, though I suggest we keep a low profile he replied.
That was always the plan. I'll do my best to keep up the ruse, Septima replied.
Good said Skye, before cutting the link.
Septima sighed, “All that’s left is to keep it up. Gods know why they would’ve sent me to do this kind of work though.”
"You're pretty good at it though" said Arthur.
“Laying low, sure, but I’m not a fan of the whole acting like someone I’m not thing,” Septima replied, “I’ve always been more of an assassin type, I suppose. If they’d asked me to go off a leader, that would’ve been easy.”
Arthur hummed, "Well as far as I can tell you're pretty good at it.
She laughed. “Thanks, but I might just be lucky. I feel like I’m floundering around over here.”
"Well it doesn't feel like it." said Arthur.
"I'm pretty good at hiding that kind of stuff, I suppose," Septima said, "Thanks, I guess, but you flatter me."
Arthur smiled, "'Tis my job!"
"If you say so. Now if only we can keep this stuff up until it's time. Which shouldn't be hard. It's just a matter of waiting around."
Arthur nodded, playing with his aura on the ceiling.
"Well, goodnight, I guess," Septima said, "We're certainly getting somewhere with this whole mission. I'm glad."
Arthur nodded, "Have a good sleep"
Perfect! Though it looks like my Reply was last…
(Yeah. Looks like we're going up to another little time skip though.)
Septima laid in bed and rather easily fell asleep. She felt herself fall into dreams, but they were all fuzzy.
Arthur stayed where he was on the ceiling till morning, eventually coming down to change his clothes, then wait for Septima to get up.
Septima woke up as the sun did that morning. She changed into her clothes.
“Arthur, what’s the plan for today?” she called through the door.
He almost certainly wasn’t sleeping.
"Same as usual, then the espionage this evening." he replied, sitting on the couch.
“Right…” Septima sighed. She was growing a lot more impatient than she had expected.
Arthur hummed, "Hey, in my opinion boring is good" he said, "Means no one is in danger of the unperdictable if everything is perdictable!
“Well that’s the thing. We could still be in danger, it’s just not so obvious,” she replied.
"We'll be fine" he said looking up at her.
“Yeah, I believe it,” Septima said.
Arthur nodded, "Shall we go then?"
“Yeah, come on,” Septima replied.
Arthur nodded, slipping around her to open the door for her.
(Should we go back to the other boys or timeskip or something? Or is stuff about to happen?)
(I was thinking timeskip, but we can probably do a skip back to Silver and Aurelius.)
(Okay, I can start. What should they be doing?)
(Probably on the move by now.)
(Okay)
Aurelius tugged at the fabric of his cloak and moved it over his head to protect his eyes from the glaring sunlight. He kept up with the group just fine now. The only weird feelings that remained were all emotional.
Silver kept up in wolf form, glad that Aurelius had actually begun to improve, and that his brother had let up on him.
Aurelius looked over to Silver with a slight smile, lifting up the edge of his cloak to get a clearer view of the half-wolf.
“Gods, it’s bright out here,” he said, mostly to himself.
Silver nodded in agreement, "That it is," he said, matching his pace with the other.
