"It's me," Arien said when Dan looked at him in confusion.
"I just stopped by to see how you're feeling. Last night was really rough on you."
"It's me," Arien said when Dan looked at him in confusion.
"I just stopped by to see how you're feeling. Last night was really rough on you."
"I'm alright, I'll get up soon enough." Dan said and nodded.
Arien nodded in return.
"Okay. I'm sorry I hadn't gotten there sooner, last night."
"It's ok, it's not your job anyway." Dan said and smiled slightly.
Arien sighed a little.
"Even if it's not my job, you're a nice person. I don't want to see you hurt."
Dan nodded and yawned a bit. "Thanks."
Arien nodded, yawning as well.
"So… I should leave," he mumbled. He crawled to the edge of the table, taking off for the window.
"You could stay if you want." Dan said and slowly got up out of bed.
Arien landed on the windowsill when Dan spoke, turning back to look at him.
"You sure?" He asked. He knew he would be falling asleep soon… but he wanted to spend time with Dan too.
"Yeah, it's fine, though after I eat I'm probably going to go back to bed and rest."
Arien nodded.
"Okay then." He turned back into his normal form, still sitting on the narrow windowsill with ease.
Dan walked out of the room and make some toast because it was all he had. He ate it then went back to bed.
Arien, when Dan left the room, stood up from the windowsill and stretched a little before going to sit next to the bed on the ground. He was a little tired, but he figured he could stay around a little longer before going home for the day.
"Sleep tight," he said.
"You could lay on my bed, I'm not going to go to bed." Dan offered
"Ah, okay then…" Arien would have blushed if he could, but he pulled himself up into the bed, relaxing. He really was tired… His eyes closed for a moment before he opened them, and then they were closed a little longer, and longer…
eventually, he fell asleep.
Dan noticed that Arien had fallen asleep and after awhile he got up and went to the the livingroom and watched a movie.
Arien woke up much later that evening, slowly realizing two things. One- this did not smell like his bed, and two- this was not his room. He sat up slowly, remembering he had fallen asleep in Dan's bed.
Dan was wrapped up in a blanket in the livingroom and was having a movie marathon.
Arien slowly got up, walking out of the room.
"Sorry for falling asleep on your bed," he said. "That was rude of me."
"No it's alright, you were probably tired." Dan said to him and looked over.
Arien nodded sleepily, rubbing his eyes a little before coming over to sit with Dan. He smiled a little.
Dan moved a bit so that Arien could sit down with him.
"This is a good movie," Arien said, nodding to the television. He smiled at Dan, mostly awake now. Though, he was a little hungry, he wasn't going to ask yet.
"Yeah, it's pretty funny." Dan agreed.
Arien grinned pulling his legs up under him and watching the movie with Dan. He wanted to snuggle, too, but figured it'd be too weird.
