Daniel pouted a bit.
"To bed we don't have more time," he said, tilting his head down to catch Elliot's gaze.
"We'll just have to make the most of it." He let his hand fall from Elliot's cheek to his hand.
"I'll pay," he said, calling a waiter over for the check.
Elliot smiled. "Alright. Let's go." He said. "You can run fast. Right?" He said, spreading his wings. He hadn't spread his wings in a while. He wanted to fly.
"I'm a fox, of course I can." Daniel smiled a bit.
"I'll be able to keep up, no problem."
"Heh. Good." Elliot said, Taking off. He flew higher and higher. He eventually lowered because he was close to the park. He sighed. "Good to stretch the wings again." He said, his wings folding back into form.
Daniel easily kept up with Elliot, ducking in and out of the crowd. He came to a stop at the park, turning to smile at Elliot.
"I'm glad. You looked amazing while you were flying."
Elliot smiled. "Thank you! You looked amazing while running as well!" He said entering the park. Instead of walking, he sat on a bench, catching his breath. "Man, flying takes a lot from me.."
Daniel sat down next Elliot, nodding. He pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket, offering it to Elliot to wipe his face if he wanted to.
"It must, with how graceful you are." Daniel smiled softly.
Elliot accepted the handkerchief and wiped his face. "Thank you, Daniel." He smiled back. "We met yesterday. Felt like ages ago." He smiled. He put down his hand and it was touching Daniel's. He looked down at his hand and looked back up.
Daniel didn't hesitate, taking Elliot's hand in his own. He wasn't very shy, that was for sure.
"I know what you mean. You're really nice. I'm glad I've met you."
Elliot chuckled and checked the time. "Oh. I've got five minutes before I have to go." He sighed. " I don't want to leave.."
"Well, where are you going?" Daniel asked. He leaned a bit closer, still holding Elliot's hand.
"Work." He replied quietly. "I have the worst boss and an annoying partner."
"I see. Where do you work?" Daniel was thinking if Elliot worked at a restaurant, Daniel would just come with him.
"At a Cafe." He sighed. "We barely get customers tho. It's not… 'Booming' as it was 10 years ago."
"Well, why don't I come with you? I'll eat there, and if you're free anytime you can come talk to me." Daniel smiled a bit.
Elliot looked at Daniel. "Sure! Why not." he shrugged. " Another customer, I guess."
Daniel nodded.
"It's decided. Com'on, we should get heading." Daniel stood, holding Elliot's hand.
Elliot got up and started walking with Daniel. "Sooo… Once my shift is over what do you want to do?"
"Hm, good question." Daniel thought a moment. "What about dinner?"
"Sure!" Elliot smiled. "After dinner, I'll head home. Or my parents will kill me. heh." He said scratching his head.
"Alright then!" Daniel smiled brightly. "My treat."
Elliot sighed. "I'll pay. You paid already so it's my turn." He pet Daniel's head.
Daniel purred at the petting.
"Noo," he protested. "It's the polite thing to do pay for the meal."
Elliot smiled at the Purr that Daniel let out.
"Nope! Im paying and there's nothing you can do about it!" He said laughing and petting Daniel again.
"Ah, com'on," Daniel said. He leaned into Elliot's hand.
"You're talking advantage of my love of pets to get me to give in," he complained.
