Thanks! He's great too :) Can you start? I feel like you might know a little more about this whole city thing then I do.

Yeah no problem. And I changed his name to Luka, it seems to just got him better.
Luka had been asleep, that was until metal and foot steps were heard. It was a windy night, but Luka loved the feeling of it going through his hair. "Psst, Luka." A small voice came from behind. He recognized it immediately, June. She always ended up losing to the others when it came to who would wake him up. She stood on the ladder trying not to get knocked down by the wind. Luka's favorite place to sleep was the roof, for him it was calming. "Yes June?" Sitting up, he turned around and felt really bad for her. All he saw was a small six-year-old holding on for dear life. "Master says it's time to go." With a little smile from Luka, Jane smiled and got down. On the far side of the building was a brick wall, Luka like using that to get up and down, it helped his skills and he just liked doing it. Everyone gathered around inside their building, sitting on whatever they could find. The Master was tall and had long hair, he had darker skin, and usually wore a hat. None of the kids know his really name or where he was from, but they all looked up to him, especially Luka. The plan was to free a few Beastmen from a corrupted man. He was known for his banking company, but they were looking in to see if the rumors were true. Only a few would be going on this mission. It would be too suspicious if a lot of them went. Sadly, Luka was not a part of that group. The Master only chose older kids, or better known as the teenagers. They could disguise themselves and slip in with the crowd. The younger kids were to stay behind and rest in case they were needed. Luka was pissed, one) They woke him up, even though he wasn't going, and two) he wasn't going. He always felt that he was left out of all the excitement. The ones leaving waved bye as they left. "Well, I'm going to get food." Luka said, as he waited till the group was out of sight. Before anyone could stop him, he had jumped on the roof and was on the move. He jumped from roof to roof trying to stay low, there was no way he was going to miss out on this excitement.
Money had never been enough for her dad. Sabrine had always hated the fact that he always wanted more. More money, more power, more influence, more people to corrupt. She was only fourteen, well, nearly fifteen and new that it wasn't right. Her dad's lies had never got to her, even with all his manipulations. She'd snooped around enough to know what he did, that the whole banking, law firm and weapons was all a hoax to what he really did. The fact that she'd gotten in trouble for it didn't matter, the punishment hadn't mattered but she knew what he did and knew it wasn't right.
Jerry was keeping her in the building now, under constant watch. If she wanted to go out then she had to ask for permission which was usually a no. Luckily Sabrina knew how to sneak out so that wasn't an issue at night, but during the day it was endless boredom.
She was pacing the building. Going up the hundred floors, talking to people, back down and repeat. She wanted out.
Luka's ears twitched, following the sounds of his comrades, though it was hard with so many people on the streets. Getting down on all fours he sniffed the air, Luka was glad no one was around to see this. "Got you." With a smile he ran off.
On the other side of the town stood a large building with a glass roof. And tonight, there was a party being held there. Lights, Music, tons and tons of people. All human. Most likely all of them are here for the auction. Buying a new Beast servant no doubt.
Luka moved down off the roof he was standing on. There's no telling what will happen, but Luka had a plan. Down an alleyway, there was a secret door, or at least a rumor. His adrenaline was pumping, he had never done a mission like this, most the time it was stealing things from bad rich people. Though how the Master will react was a scary thing to imagine. Just maybe, the Master will recognize him, if this goes well.
"Hey!" Immediately two strong hands grabbed both his arms. "Well damn."
"It seems we have a Beastman in our grasp. Take him a cage him up."
It was then that Sabrina's father came out from his office. She as going to accompany him to the party. She wanted to say no, however had no choice whether she went or not. Luckily she was wearing something more formal then she usually was so the two headed to their car and headed off.
When they arrived, they were met with an array of flashing lights from cameras. They were known in the city, known for many reasons and respected. Even Brina as she was the child of the Astren family. The only living heir to her dads legacy.
She put on a fake smile as they were led to the auction, even though she wanted to go home and be anywhere away from her dad.
Luka felt the coldness of the metal cage when his face it the floor. "Not be a good kitty and stay here." As soon as the guards walked away, a small grin spread across Luka's face. "Perfect." This was all a part of his plan.
When looking around he noticed many beastmen in cages, most of them women. He was enraged by what he saw. It was no surprise to him though. This was supposed to be some secret thing, but most beastmen knew, and hid in fear. Humans were disgusting creatures, they were more beast than his kind were.
Selfish, greedy, self centered, it made him want to puke. His thoughts were interrupted when a voice was heard from the speakers. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Today we are holding our 50th anniversary." The crowd cheered and were already getting riled up. The people here were all rich, and ready to use the beastmen for… well, Luka didn't want to think about that. Leaning back against the cage bars, he decided to just listen for now. "Since it's such a special day, I've only brought the best." The crowd now went silent, which to Luka was weird, a minute ago they were so excited. Two huge guards pushed aside the curtains and walked back to get their first victim. A tall, thin girl, with long blonde shiny hair. Her eyes were like emeralds. She was beautiful. She didn't fight back instead, she confidently walked out, like she had done this many times, while others cried and begged to be let out.
"First, the beautiful Natalie." Immediately people threw up numbers, trying to claim the girl. She seemed to be around seventeen, too young to be used to this. But not yet, Luka couldn't do anything… yet.
Sabrina wished she wasn't human. Wished her dad wasn't as evil as she knew him to be. The girl that was called out, Natalie, she could only be a few years older then her at most. And to think that if she had been born like her then she could be in the same place, in those cages. Her father seemed disinterested in her, luckily, most interested in the few boys that were in the cages. 'Better for manual labor' he always said.
While he was distracted, Brina slipped off, claiming to go to the 'bathroom' if anyone asked. However in reality she was headed to those cages, to see if maybe, just maybe, she could let a few of them out without getting caught.
"Sold! For 45 million." Luka sat there, tapping the bottom of his cage. He needed to find a way out, but being thrown in a cage without warning didn't give him much time to think his plan through. "You new here kid?" A girl about his age leaned against her cage and gave him a slight smile, he wasn't sure if it was genuine, probably not. "Yeah, you could say that." Before she could say more, the guards were pulling her out of her cage. Unlike Natalie, this small green eyed girl put up a fight, and Luka looked up to her for that. "Damn, If only I didn't get caught."
Sabriana made it to the back, seeing the rows of people in cages. She hated it, that they were treated this way when her kind could just… buy them like they were animals. It was wrong. She slipped behind the cages, accessing the locks. She noticed one, a boy maybe a year younger then her with red hair and she quickly hurried over, "Hey! I'm gonna get you outta here." She whispered.
A sudden voice came from behind, Luka was a tad surprised, but it didn't make him jump. "Oh, well.. thanks, I guess." He was going to get out on his own, though, it would be easier if she just let him out. "Wait, how are you going to get me out? You don't even have a key." This human girl, was she trying to be a savior or something? And what was she doing here in the first place? Luka was getting more suspicious by the second. And where was his master? Luka's ears twitched and he quickly looked at the girl. "Hide, the guards are coming."
She looked over her shoulder, pulling out a bobby pin from her hair, "Not until I get you out." They were far enough away that she could slip behind a cage if she needed to hide, but she focused back in on trying to get this boy out. She fiddled with the lock, waiting until she heard a click before she slipped behind an empty cage not too far away. Luckily, she didn't get caught.
(Sorry. I've been really busy. A lot of things are going on in my life right now. I'm not sure when I'll be able to answer. But I'm not abandoning this rp.)
(All good, I totally get it. Take your time, I'm not going anywhere <3)
"Listen, I can get myself out." Did she have some kind of reason for helping him? Humans were all the same, uses them for show or bodyguards. But she was young so he didn't know what she was thinking. He peeked behind her and saw that the guards were closer now. "If you're going to get me out, than do it faster." He looked at her in a panic, not for himself, but for her. Who knows what they would do to her. Wait, why was he thinking that way, who cares what happens to this human.
