Jas glanced up in surprise and almost spit out the chocolate. He set the cup down and tugged Axl close "you're serious? this isn't one of your pranks or anything right? you…you want to get married? with me?"

“No, it’s not I want to get married with you. I mean if you say no then it’s fine and we can still be boyfriends or friends if it’s too awkward.” He looked away, playing with his hands. “I know I don’t have the rings now, but I can get them soon. Just give me a little time and I’ll have them.”

Jas' features softened and he gently cupped Axel's cheek "i don't need rings to know that I want to be yours forever my vampire." he pulled him into a tender kiss, drawing out for a bit. "yes," he whispered against his lips "yes I'll marry you. yes, I'll be yours forever."

His eyes went wide and so did his smiled. Axel jumped and hugged him tight. “I’m so happy!” He yelled. “I love you so much!”

Jas laughed and hugged Axel just as tight "I love you more, Axel." he nuzzled his neck. He glanced up when the doctor came in
"I'm assuming he asked."

“How did you know I even wanted to ask him?” Axel glared and kissed Jas.

the doctor breathed a small laugh "My father killed his own kind." he simply replied, scooting away back into his own little room.
Jas rubbed Axel's back to calm him down and nudged their heads together "since when are you so hostile, hm my love?"

“About the marriage or towards people?” He laughed, resting his head on Jas’s shoulder.

"Towards other people." he said, kissing his head and massaging his back

“Well, I’m only like that to people I don’t know. Especially when their father killed you. I did look at his family though. He seems legal….enough.” He looked around and took a deep breath. “That feels nice~. Also, when do you want to get married?”

"he's one of us. Maybe his mom is an immortal." Jas mused, smiling softly at Axel and pressing light kisses to his neck "lets wait until we get home and rest bit before we start planning okay?"

He nodded. "Are you ready to go home?" Nick asked. "I want to sleep with you. Not in that way, just to sleep next to you."

Jas laughed softly and nodded “yeah, I’m ready.” He gently nudged Axel off his lap and put the empty bowls in the kitchen sink. He thanked the doctor and apologized for axel’s hostility.
“Alright love, lets go home.”

He nodded and say thank you and goodbye to the doctor. "Are you still hungry? I can make something for you when we get back."

He shook his head “maybe later love, thank you though.” He took Axel’s hand and pressed a gentle kiss to the back of it.

"O-Okay, I'm sad that the first thing you had to eat wasn't my cooking. Was his better than mine?" Axel asked swinging their hands back and forth.

He thought for a moment then shook his head “nope. And hey, I’ll still be looking forwards to dinner if you still feel like cooking later on.”

"Yes!" Axel put his hand in the air triumphantly and then glared at Jas. "Hey! Why did you have to think about that?!" Axel hit his shoulder. "Meanie."

He laughed softly “it’s been a while since I’ve had your cooking my love.” He argued with a smile, pulling the other lose in a tight embrace

"What?! Doesn't mean I'm bad at it. My skills travel throughout my lifetime. I've done centuries of cooking." Axel fought back.

Jas glanced down at Axel, very amused. “My love, I never said your cooking was bad, I’m just saying that I haven't had it in a while so it took a while to recap what the last thing I ate was that you made.” He replied, holding him close to his chest

"If you say so. Tonight I've made you the best dinner my fiance has ever had." He giggled, holding Jas's arms. "The car is parked right here." he pointed to the black car that they took. "You have to drive since I drove here."

“I’m looking forward to it, dear.” He pressed a kiss to his head before letting him go to the passenger side while he got in the drivers side “same address right?”

"You know it!" Axel nodded buckling in and setting his hand on Jas's.
