“I’m sorry I caused you so much pain. I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’ve been trying to find a place to live since last year, so far no place cheap enough. He tugged Axel close and tucked him safely under his chin. “You can come stay with me if you want once I find a place,”
"Let's find a place together after we graduate." he smiled and sat on one of the swings. "When I found this place I decided that this would be my new crying place. That I would come here for every day I couldn't find you. Now, I don't have to cry anymore because you're here."
Jas sat in the swing beside him, the moonlight casting a gentle glow on the makeup he had added to the costume to make it seem more like a typical vampire. "I'm glad you don't have to cry anymore. I don't plan on leaving any time soon." he smiled reassuringly and slowly swung back and forth. "We can find a place together, have any towns in mind?" he asked, glancing over with a faint smile
“Well, we could go back to New York or somewhere with a big crime rate. Maybe somewhere nice and relaxing. Like living on coast. Maybe we should get a beach house!” Axel laughed. “I could tan all day and you would be rubbing sunscreen on my back…” he said his fantasies out loud and blushed when he finished. “I mean if you want to!”
Jas chuckled softly and tilted his head back with a smile "that sounds like absolute heaven, but i thought you said you didn't want me to touch you," he said, giving him a teasing look
His face flushed a deep red. “Th-That’s! That’s not true…I’m sorry for saying that..”
He laughed and shook his head “don't be, it’s cute when you get flustered.” He gently squeezed Axel’s hand and leaned over to give it a kiss.
“Yeah, well you-“ he cut himself off knowing he had nothing to say. “Are you okay with leaving your sister and stuff. You probably won’t be able to see her anymore if we do this…”
Jas’ smile went from teasing to slightly saddened “no, I’m not. I hope it doesn’t have to come down to not seeing her or the rest of my family forever.” He glanced away and kicked at the dirt by his feet “I knows they’d all love to meet you.”
“I mean we can still see them, but the moment we kill, I don’t know…” Axel frowned. “Just think about this before you agree to it okay?”
“I-I want to agree. Believe me I do my love. But my family…they’re important to me too. It’s hard…you know?” He glanced over, eyes troubled
“I don’t actually. I never really cared for anyone, but you. I would give up everything for you in a heartbeat. But then again you were always the sentimental one.” he smiled. “I should go home. I’ll see you tomorrow?” Axel stood up from the swing.
Jas’ grip tightened on Axel’s hand and he gently pulled him close “How about coffee in the morning? Or hot chocolate? I don’t drink coffee much.” He pulled him closer and wrapped his arms securely around his waist. He stood and leaned forwards and brushed his lipstick against axel’s “Please say yes my love?”
“Fine~” he rolled his eyes. “When you say it like that,” he kissed his lips before letting go. “Where?”
He smiled and pressed their heads together “the coffee shop down the road from the abandoned factory?” He suggested, letting him go and shoving his hands in his pockets
“You got it. I’ll see you tomorrow,” he looked down with a smile on his face. Axel walked home all jittery and such. He could wait for tomorrow, but he also wanted to talk to Jas about something.
He nodded and walked off in a different direction. He smiled as he thought about his other half and how he finally returned. “I already want you back in my arms my love.” He opened the door to his home with a grin and embraced his sister as she’s came running to him “tell. Me. Everything! Your so adorably blushing!”
When Axel got back in the house his mother was waiting. “So? What happened. Did you mean a guy~?” She teased.
“Mom! I-I did, but I’ll tell you about it later I’m going to go take a shower…” Axe laughed before heading upstairs and soon going to bed after he took a shower.
Jas brought her up to his room and told her everything, about his lives, about Axel, the only thing he left out was his job. He didn’t need her to be more freaked out than she already was. Once she had calmed down, he sent her to bed and showered. Settling into bed, he had forgotten to ask for Axel’s number. Cursing softly he went to sleep hoping he wouldn’t forget about the date the next day
when Axel woke up and rolled and rolled and until he hit the ground. "Ow ow ow ow," he held the back of his head and stood up. Axel started to walk to his closet picking out clothes. He wanted to look go for Jas. So he picked out the best thing possible. Once Axel was done he started to walk to the cafe.
Jas was awakened by his sister nudging his shoulder "quick, mom and dad are still asleep. you can still sneak out." she said in a hushed tone, handing him skinny jeans and a sweatshirt. "go before they wake up."
Jas groggily got up and slipped on the clothes before giving his sister a kiss on the head "thanks, don't get into any trouble while I'm gone." he said, slipping out the window of the two story home
He sat in the cafe, drinking ta, and waiting for Jas. "He better not have ditched me."
Jas swung open the door after a few moments of walking and peeking inside, looking up from his hoodie and looked around. He spotted Axel and walked over shyly "Hey, sorry if i'm late, my sister just woke me up."
“It’s alright. I was just hoping you wouldn’t ditch me,” he giggled. Axel played with his hands. “I-I already ordered…by the way…have you um.” He coughed. “Have you thought about you know the whole ‘job’ thing?”
“I would never ditch you. I might be late but I’d never ditch.” He offered a soft smile and pulled away the hood that covered his hair. “Bold move to order another guy’s meal. I hope you got my favorite,” he winked and glanced up at Axel. “I haven't, but now that you mention it…I’m still as unsure as I was last night.”
