He stood back up and took the clothes, "Thank you.."

"Your welcome," she replied. "I… I didn't think that I would ever see you again," she added quietly.

He breathed out slowly. "Me either,"

She looked up at him shyly. "My name is Mirelle."

"I remember." He smiled a little. "You wrote it on the bottle,"

She blushed. "I did. You kept it?"

He smiled a little. "Was that your first?"

George blushed and shook his head.

She blushed. "I did. You kept it?"

"Yes'm," he nodded respectfully.

He smiled a little. "Was that your first?"

George blushed and shook his head.

"Well, was it good?" Bailey asked.

George answered by placing his hands against Bailey’s chest and leaning in again.

George withdrew an audible noise of surprise from Bailey, a small startled grunt.

She blushed. "I did. You kept it?"

"Yes'm," he nodded respectfully.

She smiled, then it fell. "What about your wife, Monsieur?"

"What about her?" John replied.

(Ow…)
"Well… are you planning to see her soon?" she asked meekly.

"I am," he replied softly. "But I cannot leave until General Clinton releases me for a leave of absence,"

George withdrew an audible noise of surprise from Bailey, a small startled grunt.

George moves hesitantly, almost as if he was afraid, but placed his lips atop Bailey’s nonetheless.

"I do love you," she said quietly, not meeting his gaze.

John's face softened morosely, he bretahed a grunt of acknowledgement. "You knoe you can't…"

"I know…" She looked at the floor shamefully. "What will you tell her?"

"I won't tell her about it," He promised Murielle. "You didn't know.."

George withdrew an audible noise of surprise from Bailey, a small startled grunt.

George moves hesitantly, almost as if he was afraid, but placed his lips atop Bailey’s nonetheless.

Bailey tried to speak.

"I won't tell her about it," He promised Murielle. "You didn't know.."

She smiled gently. "Thank you…"

He dipped his head, "Where should I change..?"

She guided him back to her room. "Here is fine. I'll… shut the door."

He nodded again, and meandered inside.
