Marco hummed, watching him quietly. "So…" he said softly, knowing he would never sleep.

Rashe tilted his head and smiled "your turn." He said simply

Marco raised and eyebrow, but laughed, shifting into a tabby, his fur streaked with blue.

Rashe laughed and walked to him to pick him up and set him on the table "hi there kitty," he nudged Marco's head gently with his finger "I'm guessing the blue is a signature marking of a shifter?"

Marco rubbed under his hand, purring. He couldn't answer when in this form, but he tilied his head as if to say sort of

"hm, so I'm on the right path when saying that." He nodded and sat down, Continuing to pet Marco

Marco purred happily at that, shifting again, this time into a lynx.

Rashe pulled his hand away in surprise but trusted Marco not to bit his ha d off as he returned to petting his head "so do your instincts change depending on what animal you choose to be?"

Marco kept purring, his tail flicking as if to say, maybe

"can you even understand me?" Rashes asked, feeling really stupid talking to Marco, who may or may not understand him In animal form.

Marco flopped off his lap and shifted back, "yep" he said softly, "just a little hard to respond, so don't hexpect much in that way, also the blue is my personal marking." He shfixed back into a cat, and slipped back onto his lap, pressing against his hand.

"Hm, makes sense." He smiled down at Marco "like that, dontcha kitty. You skipped over the instinct question." Rashe stood up with Marco in his arms and headed over to the couch to lie down, settling the cat on his stomach

Marco purred loudly, his ears flicking as if to say, don't care.

He laughed softly and played with his tail "that's a yes."

Marco purred even louder, kneadingredients his claws into the other's shirt.

"careful with the claws," rashe muttered "you kinda remind me of the Cheshire cat,"

Marco flicked an ear and gave him a look, Cheshire cat? Really?? he thought.

Rashe glanced down "what? Don't think so? Have you seen yourself in a mirror recently?"

Marco glared at him. the Cheshire cat was purple. he thought sourly.

"the blue and the stripes remind me of the one in the Tim Burton Alice in wonderland Cheshire cat." He explained

Marco rolled his eyes. okay…

"so what's you're favorite form to take?" Rashe asked, going back to stroking his fur

Marco hummed, moving off of him to shift to the form of a peregrine falcon.

Rashe sat up and smiled "please tell me your favorite movie is Ms Perigrines home for peculiar children."

Marco tilted his head in confusion; he had never seen that one.
