Marco rolled his eyes, "Ignore him, we're just a couple of weirdos who hate seeing stuff like this." He said softly, before shifting back into a cat and wandering off down the alley.
Marco rolled his eyes, "Ignore him, we're just a couple of weirdos who hate seeing stuff like this." He said softly, before shifting back into a cat and wandering off down the alley.
Rashe laughed softly and helped the man up "he's the weirdo. Are you alright?" He asked
The man nodded "I'm.fine, thank you. And to your friend as well. I owe you two my life."
Rashes waved a hand in dismissal, "we have enough of those to last an eternity."
The man tilted his head but asked no questions "is there anything I can do to return the favor?"
Rashe shook his head "just don't tell anyone about what you saw. If anyone asks, say you were passed out drink or something." He said, walking off in a ranfome direction
Marco waited a little, before turning up at Rashe's feet half an hour later. Purring he twined around the other's legs again, asking to be scooped up.
Rashe jumped in surprise at seeing the cat "hello there dear, nearly gave me a heart attack. I've been looking for you everywhere." he picked Marco up and looked him over to make sure he wasn't hurt "you ok? Nothing broken?" He asked, lightly stroking his fur
Marco purred as the other picked him up, enjoying the other's pets. God…. if only he would do it when I'm in human form… he thought.
"dear, you must stop sending me mixed messages, it's driving me insane." He nudged the others head and held him against his chest
Marco kept purring, relaxing in his arms. Sighing internally he knew that eventually the other would confront him, one way or another he'did be found out.
Rashe tucked Marco inside his jacket, knowing it was going to be getting cold before they got home. "Thank you by the way, for what you did back there."
Marco gave a soft meow, 'of course you idiot…' were his unspoken words, followed by more purring.
"always having to save me at one point or another, aren't you?" He laughed softly and shook his head "my shapeshifting savior."
Marco just purred, letting Rashe carry him home.
Once at the apartment, rashe pulled Marco out from the jacket and set him down on the couch. He tugged off the Jacket and hung it on the door nob. He headed to the kitchen to make a snack, "hungry kitty?" He asked over his shoulder
Marco mrowed again softly, 'yes'then shifted back, relaxing on the couch.
Rashe smiled and nodded, putting some cheese on the bread he had toasted, along with some ham and greens."
Marco watched him, drawing his knees to his chest afierce unlink his shoes off, studying the other's features, wondering what it would be like if the other…. okay we are not going there…. he reprimanded imself.
Rashe set the two sandwiches on plates and walked over to the couch. "Here ya go, one cheese, ham…Swiss chard sandwich." He sat next to him and ate his snack
Marco took it gratefully, "Thanks" he said softly, before munching on it happily, still curled up on his corner of the couch.
"no problem," he nodded and switched on the tv. He glanced down and lightly pushed on the space above his collar bone, flinching a bit and standing, heading to bathroom
Marco watched him with slight concern, "You okay?" He called.
"not sure yet," he called back, pullihis shirt off as he entered the bathroom and staring on the mirror, surprised to find that his collar bone and lower neck were covered in bruises from when the allyman tried to choke him. He touched them carefully
Marco hummed worriedly, but said nothing more as he finished his sandwhich.
He sighed and pulled on his shirt, heading back to the living room "just some bruises, nothing too bad."
Marco nodded, still a little worried.
"they didn't hurt you, right?" Rashe asked, glancing at him.
MArco shook his head, "nope" he said softly.
