Prompt: "Hi brand new neighbor, I know you don't know me but you smiled at me the other day, and you seem really nice, can you help me kill the giant spider in my kitchen? I'll reward you with food."
Please have a character link or sheet or whatever, thanks!
This sounds like a really sweet prompt… Do you mind if I take it?
I'd use Quincey: Quincey Jay Martin
I remember Quincey, love this character personally
Awesome! And thanks lol, he's one of my favorites.
Is Rain the neighbor in this scenario? Or vice versa?
She is the one who has a fear of spiders
Perfect! Do you want to start?
Rain sighed as she tied her hair back, got out her cooking ingredients, and began to make cookies that day. It was November first and so in celebration she was making christmas cookies. She even had bought herself a gingerbread house kit to make after she was finished making gingerbread people. She opened the bag of flour and screamed, tossing the bag as not a single spider, no, a whole NEST of spiders and spiderlings was inside. Now there was flour dusting her cabinets, and wall, and all over the floor. "EW EW EW!" She ran out of the kitchen and sat down. Well…NOW how am I supposed to bake gingerbread people for their house? She thought to herself.
Across the street, Quin was checking his mail. He was disappointed but unsurprised to find that there was nothing, and with a quiet huff, he shut the box. Seriously, how long does it take to update my address? He wondered to himself. It's been two weeks. With a shrug he began walking back to the door, pausing to look around the small front yard he'd recently purchased. "I'm gonna garden the heck out of you," he promised the grass, pointing at it determinedly. "…Tomorrow." Deciding to let the grass off with just the warning, he started back, already making dinner plans as he walked.
She looked outside at her strange, cute neighbor and looked back at the kitchen. (It's November so no gardening. To cold) She grabbed her heavy coat, the black puff and big hood swallowing her as she put it on and went it outside. "U-uhm…sir?" She walked up to him and tapped his shoulder, looking adorable. She was super shy but she really wanted cookies.
(Psh, as if that'll stop Quin… Just kidding… I'll change that, lol)
Quin whirled around in surprise, his hair flying into his face and stinging his eyes. "Ouch," he complained, rubbing his eyelids and squinting to see who'd tapped on his shoulder. "Oh, hey! You're the neighbor who lives across the street, right?" D-mn, for someone with enhanced hearing, you'd think I would notice someone sneaking up on me, he chastised himself inwardly. He offered a small smile, sensing how nervous she was, and decided to make things easier on her. "What can I do for you?" he asked, holding a hand out to shake.
She shook his hand. She stood there, and laughed a bit at his hair, smiling softly. "Y-yeah uh hi you see,I sort of have a nest of spiders in my flour bag and I'm sort of desperate for help…"
