Emily let out a sigh of almost relief. Every time a door opened she expected Sephyris to be on the other side.
Elizabeth Elbowed her friend in the side, "expecting someone?" She joked as the two took a step into the libraries elevator, next to the mother and son already with in.
"You know how I am," Emily gave her friend a sweet smile that somehow was anything but sweet. "You're Romeo," Elizabeth said a bit dramatic, bring a hand up to her forehead and leaning on Emily a bit.
Romeo was one way you could put it. But to Emily, it was finding someone who knew exactly what was going on in her head. Her over half, if one wanted to call it that. But as the last few lives had gone, she didn't know if she'd find them before then.
"So I'm basically just here cause of my chip?" Peter asked Anabel, a knowing look on his face.
"Maybe…but it's not just because of that. My brother has a tendency to…attack me."
"But it's cause of my chip. If I didn't have the chip, you'd probably ask someone else."
"I suppose."
The elevator chimed as it came to the right floor. The doors opening so after, and Emily and Elizabeth stepped out.
Elizabeth has a paper to write, and instead of just going on the internet to find the information she needed, had decided the library Was the perfect place to go. And of course Emily tagged along, if only in hopes of finding who she was looking for.
(When would we like our characters to find each other?)
(soon, actually. If you read my next reply, you'll see what I'm going at)
Peter's phone chimed. He looked down to see it was simply an email notification, but he saw this as a way to get out.
"Hey, um."
"Yes?"
"Kym has to talk to me, desperately. She wants me to meet her at a cafe a couple blocks away."
"You can't just leave me."
"I have to." He spotted a security guard and walked up to him, the guard being a lot taller than him. "Hey. Can you take my friend to her brother? I would but I have to go somewhere."
The guard glared down at him, making Peter ready to fight should he refuse. The guard suddenly smiled.
"Yeah, sure man. Come on, let's go," He said to Anabel. Anabel gave a look at Peter as the pair walked away, and he simply gave a thumbs up before starting to exit the hospital.
