Have you ever played Pokemon Sword/Shield and you're like "Huh. Could be gayer"?
Welcome to the place for you lol
Basic premise is kinda like Hop and Victor being childhood friends, but like, OCs and also very gay

RULES:

  • Swearing is okay! Our characters are kinda young though so probably nothing too crazy
  • No NSFW! Normally I'm chill with this but again, our characters will be very much underage. Kissing, hand holding, lots of cuddles and that sorta thing is all fine!
  • I don't expect you to be perfect, but please be literate! I prefer at least two or three lines, but one line is okay as long as it's possible to reply to and detailed enough
  • No Gary Stus! Our characters probably won't have any pokemon that are super powerful yet, but they may later on
  • Please be at least somewhat active
  • I have the right to deny anyone for any reason! Please don't bitch about it hh
  • I may add to this list if I think of anything else
  • This will be based in the Galar region, so keep that in mind

Name: Rowan Mulbright

Personality: Rowan is a huge sweetheart and always tries to encourage his friends despite his own skills. He's always happy to help anyone who asks for it, even if he has to go out of his way to do so. He tends to be a bit of a hopeless romantic as well and crushes on people pretty often. He's really infatuated with the idea of having a real relationship and he's very emotionally sensitive. He's very close with his mother, so he came out to get as soon as he found out he was gay.

Personality: Teigi's very patient, and usually a mild-mannered person, but he loves battling. He's very creative, and uses his wits to his advantage in battles. He's a caring person, too, and loves his Pokemon and his friends with all his heart, although this can make him oblivious to romance at times.

Backstory: Teigi grew up with his adopted father, having never knew his own parents. Their bond isn't very strong, and Teigi rarely trusts him.

Pokemon Team: Ponyta(non-Galarian from a trip he went on to Kanto), Furret, Cindrace, Vaporeon, Zweilous, Gallade

Other: Teigi's main Pokemon is his Ponyta, who's usually out of her Pokeball. His Cindrace(Ace) often gets jealous, and holds a grudge against Ponyta.

(Rowan is smol and Teigi is tol and this means much hoodie stealingborrowing is to come)

(Alrighty! It's not gonna be anything super special aha)
Rowan sighed softly as he headed into Ballonlea. He'd just taught his Noivern how to use Steel Wing, so he hoped to just drill through the gym there pretty quickly. He'd caught wind of some sort of audition to be the new Fairy type gym leader, but he really didn't have any interest. What he was interested in was the fact that he'd be meeting up with his friend, Teigi. He hadn't seen him since the last gym and he was looking forward to seeing him. He sat down on a dimly glowing mushroom to rest and to wait for Teigi to arrive.

Teigi bounded into Ballonlea, his Ponyta by his side. The two stopped and surveyed the town, before the boy's green eyes settled on Rowan. Teigi waved, a grin on his freckled face before he jogged over and sat down on a mushroom as well.
"Rowan! How've you been? Excited for the gym?"

"Teigi! Took you long enough to get here." Rowan laughed softly and hugged the taller boy with a contented sigh. "I've been pretty good. Noivern finally evolved." He let his Noivern out of its pokeball and smiled brightly. "He knows some dragon type moves now and he knows Steel Wing, so I think I'll be able to get through the gym as long as he doesn't faint. What about you?"

"That's great! I bought an Iron head TR for Cindrace, so that might be my best bet.I'm mostly excited to see more Fairy type Pokemon in action, so I can incorporate it into my writing more!" Teigi bounced on his toes as he gazed at Noivern. "Hey, Noivern's taller than you," he remarked with a chuckle. "So's Inteleon, of course."

"That's great! I'd love to read some of your stuff sometimes." Rowan stood on his toes to gently pet Noivern's head. At Teigi's comment, he stuck his tongue out playfully and huffed. "I'll grow! I'm only thirteen, after all… I'm sure I'll be taller than they are when I'm older. At least they still listen to me."
