Finn smiled at the new girl. “Hi I don’t think I’ve seen you around, I’m Finn!”

Marka examined Finn for a minute before asking, "You're Finn Bishop right?" She raised an eyebrow with a slight smile.

“Umm yeah,” Finn said with a slight nervous laugh. He glanced at Cal but then looked right back at Marka.

"Oh don't be nervous I was just asking." She said with a smile on her face. She gave a quick look to Cal, who understood what it had meant.

“Ok well it’s nice to meet you!” Finn said relaxing slightly.

"Nice to meet you too!" Marka abruptly stuck her hand out for a handshake. Cal sighed and relaxed as well, glad Marka didn't do anything embarrassing….yet.

Finn smiled and shook her hands. He was pretty sure he recognized her name he just wasn’t sure from what.

"Calll I finally got the cat we've been crying over for weeks noww." Marka said grinning and looking at Cal. He nearly jumped up from the lunch table excited. "What!"

Finn tilted his head. “You got a cat?” He asked leaning on the table.

"Hell yeah I did, all I had to do was beg and beg my girlfriend. I can't keep him though so he's gonna live with Cal." She explained. Cal sweetly smiled.

"That's cool! I have a cat too!" He said smiling softly. "You said you wanted one before right." He looked over at Cal.

"You have a cat?!" Cal asked with a wide smile. "And yeah I did." He said looking back towards Finn.

“Yeah we got her when I was slightly younger. She’s really old but also pretty small still,” he explained still smiling.

"Awww could I meet her sometime?" He asked excitedly. Cal blushed as he remembered what happened the last time it was just him and Finn.

Finn smiled and nodded. “Yeah sure,” he said already trying to remember when his aunts next business trip is.

Not being able to reply without a stutter, he nodded back and smiled. Marka just sat there with a big grin as she watched the two interact.

“Anyway Marka classes do you take? I swear I recognize you from somewhere,” he said.

Marka chuckled and smiled. "Im kinda famous." She flipped her hair dramatically. "Just kidding, i'm on the girls lacrosse team."

“That could be it. I went to a few games back when my friend Willow was on the team,” he said. He was relaxed slightly. Leaning on the table.
