(…you want me to start, don’t you?)
//if you don’t mind :)
I’m sorry if I’m getting annoying with the whole starting thingy, just lemme know and I’ll do my best to start
(Lol. Nah, you’re fine!)
Archer walked up behind Addie and swept her up in his arms, grinning. He spun her around quickly, then set her back down.
“Are you ready to go explore?”
//okey dokey :D
“I was born ready!” Addie crowed, pumping her fist in the air and grinning. “Where would you like to go first?”
Archer laughed lightly and kissed her nose. "I want to go wherever. Let's just pick a direction and walk."
“Works for me,” Addie said with a nod. “I like… this way.” She turned right and, after taking Archer’s hand, started walking.
“This way seems good to me,” Archer agreed, lofting her hand to his lips and pressing a gentle kiss to the back of it.
Addie slowed down her pace a bit so that she and Archer were walking side by side. “Should we keep walking this way or turn… left at the next opportunity?”
“Why don’t we keep walking? That way we’re less likely to get lost when we have to turn around,” Archer suggested with a shrug.
“Good plan,” Addie smiled, adding, “It’s good to have at least one person in a relationship have a good sense of direction and all that…”
Archer chuckled and kissed her cheek. “That is true. It would probably not be very good to get lost around here…”
“To be fair, the streets are numbered, but I’m not the best at counting on a whim, so… there’s that,” Addie laughed.
“Ah, yes. That must be a very helpful trait when you live here,” Archer teased with a wink. “How do you manage to get around if you never know where you are?”
“I know where I am,” Addie said defensively. “Approximately….” she added with a smile.
Archer snorted and squeezed her hand gently. “Approximately could easily get you lost, mon cher.”
“That’s true. But I’d only be approximately lost,” Addie joked, grinning.
“Mmhm…” Archer chuckled, shaking his head slowly. “Sure, love.”
Addie laughed and squeezed his hand gently. “I make perfect sense, I swear.”
“Sometimes, yes. Others… not so much,” Archer teased.
“I mean, you’re not wrong, per se…” Addie joked, pretending to frown slightly. “I’ll take it as a compliment,” she added, turning the frown into a grin.
“Good. I shall do nothing but compliment and tease you,” Archer declared, nudgingbher shoulder playfully.
“That’s alright with me,” Addie laughed, nudging him back. “Okay, should we turn left or go on that weird windy road?”
“Why don’t we go the way that will get us the least lost,” Archer teased with a wink.
“Left it is,” Addie said, smiling. “Any road that has the words ‘weird’ and ‘windy’ in front of it is probably more likely to get us lost.”
Archer chuckled, nodding his agreement. “That is very true. I am sure we would get lost quickly going that way.”
