"Yeah, it's the whole work situation. I've been trying to be more interactive, but with the lack of commissions, I've had a lot of free time to draw at my own pace while waiting for comms to flow in, you know what I mean? I think I ran out of my 15-minutes-of-fame-that-lasted-longer-than-15-minutes-so-this-analogy-doesn't-make-sense-anymore," he replied, trying to match Rowan's volume, and making a joke at the end to see if that would lighten up the vibe he was currently getting. "I'm gonna make more time for you guys though. I promise," he added.
Rowan chuckled at the analogy Eraku made and shrugged “I’m sure all artists have highs and lows. You’ll find your rhythm again. I could always bring some of the prints to the restaurant and try to sell them there. That is if Chef let’s me. You know how strict he is..well with everything.” He sighed and rolled his eyes teasingly. If he were being honest, his boss was more of a father to Rowan than a strict boss but he did have his moments of being a bit too harsh. “We can also find some local conventions that are going on. It’d be a fun thing for us and the kids and we can probably reserve a booth to sell from.” He suggested, watching as their kids came out of the day care, chasing each other around until they got to Rowan And Eraku.
