Savanna was still upset in the following days. Every time she thought she saw him, her jaw would set, and she'd immediately turn around. She was avoiding him, once more. With how mad she was at him, she figured it would be better to avoid him now than blow up at him. It was better in the long run, right?
So everywhere she went, she was on edge. Most people scurried away when they saw her very intimidating rbf, while some gave her snarky looks when they thought she wasn't looking. Despite her outward appearance, she wasn't just angry. She was nervous, hurt, and confused as well. After all, the person she was ultimately falling for had completely blanket-faced lied to her. She couldn't ignore that.
When the time came around she still wasn't sure what to say. Despite being on edge, she was caught by surprise when she finally ran into him.

(Edit:)
It had been raining all week long, ever since the night they… bumped into each other at the coffee shop. Yup, that's how she would categorize it.
Honestly, she didn't mind the rain. Although it made things a tad more dramatic, she found it validated her mood at least a little bit. She felt she could be angry, or upset when the sky itself appeared to be as well…

Okay… maybe it was a bit more than a tad dramatic.

But that didn't stop her from feeling. Despite what most people thought of her, she wasn't heatless, or soulless. Her emotions were just " complex," as her brother put it. She was never good at showing her emotions, and definitely not good at talking about them.
So she chose to sit in the rain.

It was after school hours, and she had assumed most people were already on their way home. Whenever given the chance, she would avoid going home— and there was no one here that was making her go. So she sat on the steps, knees barely hanging past the overhang as it poured. She didn't care how soaked her legs got. (Her shoes were a different story; that being the reason she was barefoot, and her shoes beside her.)
She basked in the peacefulness of the rain, letting the cold water fall on her. The only sound she could hear was the rush of wind and rain. She definitely couldn't hear anyone approaching her, nor the door behind her opening.

He was happy at the fact that it was raining, other people didn't like the rain. Though he liked it. It was calm. It was soothing, it was peaceful. It helped him drift asleep at night most times.
He moved to walk towards the school exit, only to see her sitting out there on the steps just underneath the awning.

He let out a soft sigh, he didn't expect her to be so upset when he told her his real name, I mean he was trying to use it to say he trusted her more and so now she could know his actual name, I mean. She didn't really think he was going to give up his name to her the first night they met right?

He rubbed his face, standing there and watching her. Now he was just a creep spying on her. He either needed to just leave out the front or find another exit.

He walked out of the front doors of the school, walking down the steps and standing next to her, before sitting down next to her. He didn't know what to say, so instead he just, stuck his hand out into the rain and watched it collect water.

She didn't deserve to know right away— at least that's what she was trying to convince herself. It was a struggle, as she didn't understand why he had lied to her. Okay, technically it was a half-truth, as it was a name that legally belonged to him. However, he clearly didn't want to go by that name, as he made painfully obvious the other night.
So the question still remained; why hadn't he told her? It itched at her, making her head ache.

Chewing on the chain of her necklace, she stared off into the distance. She'd completely lost track of herself and the things around her.
It was no surprise she about had a heart attack when she noticed Kaido— or rather Akira— sitting next to her. How one person could be so oblivious baffled even her, as her brother often teased her about being so unaware of her surroundings. She never could explain that.

A slight screech, followed by a very noticeable flinch came from her. In a matter of seconds, she'd thrown a shoe at him, jumped up from off the stairs, and slipped before she could grab onto something. Her heart was pounding, her face flushed, and she was shaking.
"Don't do that!" She squeaked, ignoring the stinging coming from her knee and forearm. She wasn't going to worry about that right now.

"So you finally- OW!" He howled out In pain as a shoe was thrown at his face and it hit him square in the nose and in the eye.
"Me not dothat? Don't throw a shoe at my face! That hurt!" He hissed at her, he stood up from where he was sitting and walked over to where she had fallen over.
"If you had just paid a little more attention to your surroundings maybe you would have noticed me!"
He glared at her, before running a hand through his hair. He was frustrated, but he did scare her so he could understand why she threw a shoe at him.
He sighed softly, "fine, I'm sorry I scared you but you should really pay more attention. In the time before you noticed me I could have easily hurt you if I was a bad guy or even kidnapped you."

"Excuse me for thinking everyone had already left! I didn't really think anyone would want even still to be out here." She muttered, wincing as she pushed herself up.
"I also didn't see any reason to be on high alert." When she stood up, it took her a moment to realize the blood running down her arm and leg. She assumed the rough concrete scraped her up. It explained the tingling at least.
"Maybe you shouldn't sneak up on people. Then you won't get a shoe to the face." She wouldn't admit it, but he was right. Making a mental note, she gently brushed her arm.
In a fight or flight situation, Savanna was one that typically fought, and then flew. Although in this instance, it proved more harmful than useful, she was sure that it was the best way to defend herself.
"What are you still doing here anyway? It's late." She asked softly, making her way out of the rain. It was only a minute, but it was definitely enough to soak her clothes.

He pulled out an umbrella, opening it and walking out into the rain and holding it over her.
He debated on whether or not to tell her why he waited so long just to find her sitting outside. He was wanting to actually see her today, and yet she was avoiding him all day and looking angry when he actually spotted her in the hallway.
"I don't have a curfew, I was waiting for everyone else to clear out so I could walk alone in the rain and no one would bother me."
He looked down at her, seeing how she was immediately wet.
He just looked out into the pouring rain and then back at her. "I'm assuming you don't have an umbrella?"

(Hey! Sorry, life has been crazy, and I just haven't had a moment to sit down and write freely.)

"So much for that." She muttered, almost glaring at the umbrella he held over her. Being as proud as she was, Savanna didn't know what to do with his gesture. Especially feelings the way they were currently. Even if she was mad at him, she bit her sarcasm back.
"No, I do not." Brief, but not totally rude. "Rather pointless now, though. Don't you think?"
Despite her confusion about him, she did still feel drawn to him, attracted even. Now was not the time for her to think about that, though. So with what little pride she had left, she grabbed her shoes before fishing her keys out to go to her car.

He sighed softly, rubbing his neck.
"You could get a cold if your not careful you know." He spoke, staring back at her. He watched as she dug through her pockets and pulled out her car keys.
"You don't have an umbrella, so at least let me walk you to your car." He spoke, standing next to her until she was ready to start walking. Him being tall meant that the umbrella was a bit higher up so it didn't hit his head.
He waited for her response…hoping that she wouldn't say no. He wasn't going to apologize but..he had been wanting to see her all day. Least he could do was this. Then he could walk home peacefully in the rain.

"I'm already wet, isn't it a bit futile at this point?" She mumbled softly but she wasn't going to refuse him. If he really wanted to walk her to her car, she wouldn't protest further. At least she hoped her tone didn't come across as stand-offish.
She didn't really know what to do from there. She didn't want to move but didn't really want to stay here. Not because of him, but just in general. She felt awkward and didn't know what to do with herself. On one hand, she liked him and wanted to be around him. But on the other hand, she hated the tension between them. Jumping out of a plane sounded easier than this.
"It's your choice whether you follow me or not. I don't dictate your life or decisions." Shrugging she began to walk off to her car. It didn't feel right, but there was nothing keeping her there. Like she said, she didn't dictate his decisions. Why should he dictate hers?

He didn't really know how to feel with her responses, but he already committed himself to walking her to her car. He wasn't going to quite now because of a few words. So when she started walking, so did he.
"You know the more rain that pours on you, the more wet you get and the stronger chance you have to get a cold." He spoke as he walked her to the car. I mean, sure he was going to walk home in the rain, but he was used to the cold. He wasn't wet already like she was.
Once they got to her car he waited for her to enter, before waving goodbye and turning away to start walking.

(Hey– life has been way busy. Lots of moving pieces, very little time for creativity unfortunately :(( but I've got a few minutes!)

"And you care for what reason?" She muttered, before pulling her door open and ducking into the front seat. She said nothing more as he waved to her, and walked off. She just watched.
Akira was walking in such a way that just caught her attention. It wasn't with swagger or subdued. It was just a normal walk for a normal guy. He was tall, so he had longer strides, but there was nothing significant about it. Nothing to give her a reason to watch.
So why did she keep watching? It was as if she was enamored by him… probably because she was. Would she admit to such a feeling? Never.
After a few long moments staring at his backside, she noticed he wasn't going towards any of the cars. He was just walking. Not aimlessly, but it wasn't for a short distance she could figure. As he turned the corner, she paused to process. If she didn't leave now, he would be gone. As would her chance for reconciliation.
Her heart pounded heavily in her chest. She wanted nothing more than for things to work out, but the hurt was so deeply rooted she found it hard to let go. Offering him a ride home was so simple, yet so difficult to her stubborn mind. She was running out of time.

Without much more thought, she turned on the engine, buckled in, and tore out of the parking lot best as she could on the slick asphalt. She needed to find him quickly because she knew he could disappear just as quickly as he appeared.
